I completely agree with you David regarding the British Tan Double Shot leather. The leather is simply amazing and the red tons that leather is having are simply stunning. Have 3 pairs of White's one 360 Cruiser and one 360 Cutter both in British Tan Double Shot and one 355 Logger in Brown Double Shot. To be honest their products are stunning, well build, splendid quality and their customer service is simple exceptional. One of the most valuable company I trust for buying my boots from.
I’ve got them in natural double shot. Amazing boots! The hand stitched vs machine stitched is a non issue for me. The QC looks excellent on those! I brannock a size 11 D US and got these in a size 10 E.
very happy to see more people taking to boot reviews! thanks for your time.., the White's rolled welt is more a bragging right and aesthetic thing if anything.. Clover Oak - Brothers in Boots has a youtube episode all about it. I like the rolled welt... BUT, I don't think it's always worth spending the extra $100 for it.... especially when Frank's only does a $60 upcharge for theirs.... I like the regular stitchdown method just as much.. having variety in styles is nice I just got some British Tan Double shot White's Springdales for my dad.. they were scuffed to hell..! worse quality i've been so far from them for myself.. they had to be exchanged anyway bc of fit.., but yeah, I couldn't believe it. i guess they put all the rough stuff on the cheaper models., cause yours look pretty clean.. and a better color.. my Springdales were very dark for BT..
I would buy the white's cruiser 10 out of 10 times. White's 55 last fit me better and have the better leather options. Even with the $200 difference I would recommend the C350 cruisers. Drew's contractors are a great boot and are a good price, I think its worth saving up for the white's boots though
have a pair of 350 double shot tan cruisers, I get really bad sweat stains in them unfortunately so I retired them to my shit kickers/casual boot because pulling 10 and 12 hour days in them causes such big and horrible sweat spots in the leather unfortunately.
@Justin-pu7qi really..?? What happens? They get white salt stains or wet/sweat stains..? That has to be a hell of alot of sweat to drench a leather boot!
@@DavidsGarage1972 I actually own 11 pairs of whites boots, 4 of them the 350 cruiser, 3 packer boots, 1 semi dress, 1 stockman, 1 fulton, and 1 chore boot.
Got to use the toungue kilties. Most folks don’t really understand the importance of them. It’s funny a lot of people wear these as a fashion statement instead of real man’s work.
Yeah I just wish whites kilties weren't so slim. I think I prefer the shape of the ones from dales leatherworks. These boots are definitely more of a casual boot for me. I'm gonna stick with my builder pro and cs c350 for when I'm at work.
It’s really nice boot !
Enjoy it !

One of the best boots out there. You can reasonably dress them up a bit, but they are loggers at heart

Beautiful leather! Love the double shot

If you had to buy only one of them.. i.e whites cruiser vs Drew's contractors, which one will you choose given 200 dollar difference?

is the whites double welt bigger than the drews?
I think they both leave the same amount on the lip when they sand the edge

@@toneohmyep unfortunately, wool socks and shoe tree helps but long term I’m not so sure what it does to the leather.
at least you have an excuse now to get another pair of boots!

A better way to put it is Drew’s copied Whites. Drew’s copied many of Whites/Nicks offerings.
