- The conversation about 'quiet luxury' has been popping up in my feed a lot lately. I think it can apply to all brands delivering exceptional leather and craftsmanship value, regardless of price.
Based on what I'm seeing in this bag, Ateliers Auguste might be one of those 'quiet' and 'affordable' luxury brands to watch out for in the leather bag space.

They don't provide any pictures of the inside of the bag. I never understood. I am not only buying the bag for the external aesthetic. Function matters too. For the price I am only willing to invest if I can see the important details.
A bag from this brand just caught my eye. I was just about to check if you've ever review this brand and this video just popped up on my subscription box! The timing was perfect! Definitely more interested in this brand after your breakdown.
I've been to their website, and so much of it is sold out. Very disappointed. Unless one doesn't mind being put on a waitlist...

Bought the Monceau bag and the leather stitching on the strap broke off only after only 1 week of use😢 I asked for a replacement but the company offered me 20% off and advised me to find a local bag repair shop to fix it

The hardware on this bag is gold pleated. He didn't take that into consideration in the overall cost of the bag.

I just heard of this brand last week. They seem Celine inspired but what do I know. This bag looks similar to my one Celine bag.

The belt bag yes! I was thinking if I should the big size of this instead of the Belt Bag un Micro with the more practical closure. But the box leather is bit sratch resistant. Gotta pass.
Too bad; I been eyeing the big size of this bag, but I should pass since we need to baby it to prevent scratch. Need to be careful with perfume too? Eugh.

Are you aware that the hardware is plated in gold? Does that change your assessment at all?
He said the hardware is very high quality. I think the value of gold plating depends on the karat and the thickness. Lots of cheap costume jewelry is gold plated.
