Practically speaking a sedan like slavia or virtus gives better value then suv's in these categories.. 1. ground clearance difference is not huge.. creta is 190mm and slavia/virtus is 180mm. 2. Always go for the premium petrol as also mentioned in the user manual. This is because turbo engines rev at much higher limits compared to NA engines and chances of knocking is higher with normal petrol. This will cause inner engine wall damage over a period of time that will not be immediately noticed. Also, premium petrol gives the best performance due to complete burning and higher mileage due to efficient burning of fuel.
Thanks a lot for this information. I was misguided by Volks sales guy where he said that now normal petrol will do the job and now premium is no longer required for BS 6.2
@@Khannav.16 . Have you checked the user manual? I am not sure about BS 6 phase 2 but for my rapid BS 6 phase 1 it was mentioned as is the case with Slavia/virtus/kushaq phase 1. And don’t go with sales guy’s knowledge. For engine related information, better to go with service guys.

I just happened to see in some video where its told to read users manual for petrol preference and when I asked the same thing with the salesperson they had the same opinion that normal petrol will also work. I agree with you that these things to be checked with service guys as they don’t have any target for selling the cars
@@Khannav.16 . Ya. Even I liked Virtus more than Slavia for styling. However when Rapid and Vento were compared, I just loved Rapid. Even Rapid was tuned better than the Vento. It’s opposite in the case of Slavia / Virtus I think where the Virtus is tuned better. Absolutely, sales guys only want to meet targets. Always better to read the user manual. Sometimes service guys also may not know since BS 6.2 is new and just begun.
I believe only thing that matters in car is engine performance, safety, sitting comfort and boot space.other features is just like Santa clause gifts🤣🤣🤣
Can anyone tell me why should i buy 1.5 manual slavia over the 1.5 turbo petrol verna … my preference is to verna but the german factor in slavia is hampering me … please suggest me guys 😊
Hi, Virtus and Slavia are atleast 25% scale down versions of vento and rapid interms of quality and sturdiness. Now they are just on par with competiton. If you truly want best driving experience (self drive) and 80% highway driving - Virtus 1.5 manual. If you drive on bad roads and 70% highway driving - slavia 1.5 manual. If you drive on bad roads and 40% highway driving - verna 1.5 manual. If you just want to go with features and feel good Factor - Verna If you drive in tier2 city, any of the three are fine. Mileage will not make a big difference. If you drive in any metro city, mileage will be around 10 for all the 3 cars. So I would suggest you to consider Honda City hybrid. If anyone drives 60% city and 40% highway. Honda city makes a great choice. Thank you.
I will list out few key differences between verna and virtus/slavia 1. Ground clearance - 165mm for verna, 180mm for virtus/slavia. If you are going to drive in village roads, or roads with high speed bumps, then go for virtus/slavia 2. Suspension - verna has softer suspension setup than virtus/slavia. So verna handles potholes slightly better but on highways, virtus/slavia will give more stable ride due to stiffer suspensions 3. Performance - verna generates more power and is quicker than virtus/slavia but only by small margin. In real world, the difference is negligible. 4. Price - it depends on you, where you get better price. 5. Looks - again, depends on you. Personal preference. 6. Service network - Hyundai's service network is unbeatable hands down. If you live in a tier 2 or tier 3 city, then it might be difficult for you to find a VW/Skoda service center nearby. 7. Safety rating - although all three have scored 5 star safety rating but verna is marked to have unstable body shell and has less points than virtus/slavia. I have bought Slavia 1.5 manual style variant few months ago mainly because of driving dynamics, ground clearance and looks. I rejected verna simply because of looks. Rejected honda city because of very soft suspension and low ground clearance.

Purchased this 1.5 litre iconic machine last month. No other can match it's performance and comfort level
1.5 in performance? Are we joking?
I❤ motoroctane and Škoda . Rely ability calm though .
I bought city cvt too
Give an engine guard in the downward.
Sedan and hatchback sales is declined in india because of road conditions, suv give ground clearance which matters with big potholes condition
Check the ground clearance of slavia virtus and creta these are almost same
Where do you live ? I go to Village by sedans
On highway these suv doesn't give you confidence
How u see honda city manual vs slavia manual ....want to upgrade ... currently driving Honda Amaze diesel.
I own the same color 1.0 ambition.
Mileage is best and handling too...
18k in 1st 10 momths,,,

that red is anything but elegant its really flashy, make the car look toyish to be honest doesnt go well with the chrome and makes it look less premium
Would be interesting to see how this compares to a Hyundai Verna DCT 1.5 Turbo
Pls tata safari facelift vs creata facelift vs tata harier facelift pls compare
Motor octane always❤❤
Hi everyone I felt like the AC of 1.0 turbo is very weak. Has someone else felt it? I took 2 test drives and had the same observation.😅
All VW and Škoda s are facing issues with AC
Best part of this sedan car is ground clearance.
One thing I am not able to understand so many C Segment review Rachit ji how one can compare same segment sedan like in automatic they compare 16 lacs with 21 lacs. Like City,Verna,Vertus and Salavia.Price Service,Safety,Comfort, engine, car looks ,reliability, and resale value all need to be considered.
Actually sedan ko chodkar suv lene ka main reason ye bhi hai ki long drive par sedan me bethna utna comfortable nhi lgta jitna suv me bz sedan ki seating kafi nichi hoti hai jisse legs me jyada pain hota hai thai relax bhi utna nhi hota so i think for best comfort buy suv
Suv mai comfort 😂😂😂 kiya bbat kar rahi ho kbhi sedan mai bathai bhi ho jab suv highway pai jhulti hai tab pichai se log boltai hai arram se chala.
What is your review on reliability of parts between Maruti and Skoda
I own a Kushaq and an ertiga alongside a celerio, XUV 700 and a W-RV. I previously owned a polo GT. No issues so far with any cars. The service of Skoda is super cheap, around 6k per service. Just go ahead with it. Honda service is a bit in the expensive side, 10k per service and W-RV has broken down on me once. Just go ahead it doesn't matter they are all the same
@@Shauryaayabut the spare parts are so expensive 😢😢
@@adityarajput3812 they are not. It was the case when I blew my turbocharger in the rapid because of tuning, that was too my fault (it run dry and overheated regularly) The parts are cheap and sturdy, look up the parts online, they are either cheaper or equal to perts of maruti
@@Shauryaayacan you please tell how much milage do you get in XUV 700?
@@shagunshetty3288 Mileage of 8-9. I mash the car and drive it pretty hard. It's a Petrol manual. I don't drive it sedately at all but most of the drving is highway as I use W-RV for the city.
How are the expenses after 5 years?
Also, been hearing about A/C issue in Skoda and VW cars in India. The A/C is not upto the mark.
Why not buy virtus instead of Slavia? What factors did you consider for it?
Suspension and looks
Because that time virtus wasn't launched
What about service centre.
Reverse camera problem still persists.
Company is giving s deaf ear
Actually, at present there is no sports Sedan under sub 4 meter in the Indian Car market. Nowadays number of vehicle increasing day by day, and sub 4 meter car is more practical to drive , park and maintain. Skoda should launch sub 4 meter Sports Sedan, ( Mini Mustang). Yes rough tough Sedan, just Maruti Esteem which has been used in Car rally.
I am waiting for a facelift Honda Amaze .
Sir, traction control और cruise control जैसे features कितने important है ?
और इनके लिए कितना extra money pay करना worth है
Itna ambiguous buying kaise ho sakta hai kisika. Booked top variant manual but then just bcz color was not available to shifted to mid variant AT
Because features mai zyada farak nahi tha …!
@@nishanthsalian8340 manual vs AT is itself a big difference. Anyways it's individual choice. His money his choice. But still- It is very common in India when buying car- people don't know what they want and still buy.
Pls make video like Verna ' s challenge between city and Slavia and its a humble request from me
Sir can you give a feedback on honda elevate vs slavia. Which one would a better choice
slavia
Please make a video on Audi e tron GT
Basically chose sedan over compact SUVs e.g. Nexon.
For Indian road conditions SUV are better..bcoz raste pe gadda nehi gaddhe mai rasta hai...
Where do you live
Kuch "SUVs" se better ground clearance hai bro.
Ground clearance ka koy karna hai log ab sedan se laddakh jaati hai 😂😂😂
hi Nishant could you tell about AC performance of his 1.0 TSI automatic. Bcz I ave booked kushaq 1.0 TSI auto ambition and AC was too poor and cancelled the booking later on.
inskoda cars ac performance is poor
I personally haven’t faced any issues, the AC performance increased also after the ac software upgrade last summer
No issues. Own a manual 1.0 TSI Kushaq. Owner of one from the past year and I live in Chandigarh so there is very harsh summer. Temperature occasionally touches 40°C and even 41°C in the city. No issues so far
@@Shauryaaya i was talking about TC not manual

Haa bhai...baaki sab to fake owner hote hain...

I don't agree with the mileage, it gives bare minimum 8-9 in city drive ( not completly bumber to bumber) and on highways it is 16-17 max
Okay the final question Slavia or Virtus?
for city people with good enough roads sedans are more sensible option

Guys any thoughts about honda elavate. Should I buy it over kusaq?
Watch a comparison video, it's available on auto critique channel
Nope
It's anything but a subtle red. Virtus' cherry red is sublte. This is as loud as it gets.
I will go for Honda City

Dear Nishant I have bought Skoda ambition 1.0 turbo automatic in Oct-2023... Just after a week left rear tyre got punctured and I repaired it ...but now every time message is proping on the screen that left rear tyre has low pressure...what does this means ...
And should I fill nitrogen also in the tyre

i just hate this red colored slavia, the blue colour slavia looks dope❤
Does this car require only octane premium petrol or does a normal petrol will also do the job? Its a turbo engine so I would like to know about it
Always go for the premium petrol as also mentioned in the user manual.
@@CallmeSJKI have test drive both slavia and virtus and found Virtus to be much better than Slavia (my opinion).

While SUVs are giving the Sedan like comfort, no point to go with Sedan at this point. This got purchase just because of Budget constraints ....
I believe only thing that matters in car is engine performance, safety, sitting comfort and boot space.other features is just like Santa clause gifts🤣🤣🤣
I have 1.5 slavia, trust me, it’s drivers paradise
Can anyone tell me why should i buy 1.5 manual slavia over the 1.5 turbo petrol verna … my preference is to verna but the german factor in slavia is hampering me … please suggest me guys 😊
Hi,
Virtus and Slavia are atleast 25% scale down versions of vento and rapid interms of quality and sturdiness.
If you just want to go with features and feel good Factor - Verna
If you drive in tier2 city, any of the three are fine. Mileage will not make a big difference.
If you drive in any metro city, mileage will be around 10 for all the 3 cars. So I would suggest you to consider Honda City hybrid.
If anyone drives 60% city and 40% highway. Honda city makes a great choice.
Thank you.
@@balanandreddy5174thankyou for your genuine advice 🙏🏻
I will list out few key differences between verna and virtus/slavia
1. Ground clearance - 165mm for verna, 180mm for virtus/slavia. If you are going to drive in village roads, or roads with high speed bumps, then go for virtus/slavia
2. Suspension - verna has softer suspension setup than virtus/slavia. So verna handles potholes slightly better but on highways, virtus/slavia will give more stable ride due to stiffer suspensions
You should drive both cars make up your mind after that anyways verna 1.5 is faster and n-line is coming for enthusiasts
@@PriyanshuTomar95Bro, is the DSG gear box of Virtus problematic as generally said
