Im so happy Zato doesn't get cooked by Burst and YRC anymore. He was practically unplayable in the previous patch.
He still does cooked by yrc and burst. The patch in practical terms did not change much

Even tho its probably not optimal, you can wild assault wallbreak if you dont want the opponent to have burst on wakeup ig

i didn’t read the patch notes, has zato been reinstated as a character yet
Eddie moves faster now, and the gauge refills from the point it was at when destroyed by burst or YRC. That plus the nerfs to DP and WA (burst in general, too), he’s definitely looking much better on paper.
@@mattsandvig7868 also, Eddie Swap now moves Zato close to Eddie, instead of swapping places (example: 0:07). Pierce also is slightly faster

is FD the only thing you can do against garuda impact?
If they try to loop back to back garudas, you can jump out, as it's not a true string. But they can frame trap you with other buttons bc guard crush
@@doctor-okami1947 that is actually very good to know. if they do frame trap you with it (like button into garuda impact), do you just have to guess whether to jump or block again? and which part do you FD?
@@eebbaa5560 I'm not knowledgeable in much pot stuff, since he's not my main. I believe that if you block a garuda, you have to hold the upcoming mix. You can try to FD the garuda and the strikes he does to frame trap and possibly try to push him out of follow up range, but I believe he has some options to deal with that.
All in all, you have to make the right guess and try to FD him out of range
But just remember that trying to do back to back garuda is not true and you can jump before second garuda hits
