I've got chronic back pain among other health problems but realized that I had given up so I decided about a few weeks to a month ago to take my life back and start lifting weights, working out. Gained 8 lbs in muscle in the first two weeks and my pain has decreased a bit already. I'm so happy and excited. Btw, something I've noticed in my short 30 years is that when people stop they eventually die. I mean yes we'll all die but I have known people like 80-90 who still garden, mow etc & people only 45 who are on disability and do hardly anything. What's that saying about staying in motion? Fuck'm...I joined the Army (faked my back injury through the medical) jumped out of aeroplanes all sorts of shit. Left the army and all I did most of life was hard yakka work mostly contracting. Had a heart attack at 52 then settled into truck driving as it was physically easy BUT!!! my health generally wasn't improving and my lower back deteriorated quite significantly over the years of sitting in a truck. Now I'm back to the gym and working my arse off. My lower back is slowly coming good but one thing I've learnt is that when you're testing your body physically on a regular basis you generally feel much better and have way less back/joint problems
Simplicity when it comes to explaining how to work out, its an art on its own, and that's something many trainers don't have, I saw that in u! Great video, keep it up!

Really appreciate the focus on mechanics here. I've spent nearly 4 years and likely thousands of dollars thinking the chiropractor is my only answer to keep my ribs in for the bottom of my rib cage. Started doing doing these exercises with some powerblocks about 3 months ago along with lots of breathing exercises and they have basically eliminated the chiropractor from my daily life however... I was definitely not pulling my hands far enough back on any bent over row, nor was I even going as far forward on my over head latt pullover. Those very minor tweaks to a workout I've basically already been doing for about 3 months makes the workout hit a lot harder and really focus in. This video will certainly help keep me on the right track.

I’ve always done the single arm row bringing it to my chest instead of back. First off I changed it to how you do it, and my lats are wider, and second I’ve showed this videos to my friends and they now use the same techniques as you and it helps all of us
I've been doing dumbbell rows wrong my whole life... When I tried it this way swinging the elbow back instead of bringing it to the chest I felt SO much more activation in my back it literally made me crack a smile during my first set. Thanks a ton, brother! Subbed

Sometimes you can use a chair instead of a bench
Then buy a bench. They don't costs that much and are totally worth it. It allows you to do many more exercises than with dumbells only.
People give old benches away too just clean them and wrap them
XLCBX I just use a large lunch box or cooler, there's always a way if you really want it😉💪🏻
go to a nicer neighborhood then your own. there is a special trash day for furniture. use your imagination and your bench will appear.
