Well there’s definitely effects on his voice which does make it sound noticeable better. Not to mention this is professionally recorded and mixed so there is a good chance there is auto pitch correct or auto toon. You can hear in the transition from each note. He’s still a good singer though.

He was using reverb, with a very short delay, as well as production quality equipment and the luxury of editing, but if you listen to any of his other acoustic performances it is obvious he can sing rather well, the reverb is just for affect, to get a certain sound into the music.
