- Two Pakistani journalists have revealed that former Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa had admitted that Pakistan lacked ammunition and economic strength to go to war with India. He had also reportedly said that Pakistan Army is no match for Indian Army. In a discussion on Pakistani channel UK44, journalists Hamid Mir and Nasim Zehra recalled what Bajwa told them back in 2021. Watch this video for more details.

In 1965 war Pakistani military leadership came to know that defeating India is impossible due to our sheer numbers.
And then after 1965 India went on a massive modernization and arms-buying spree and differential between Indian and Pakistani militaries continued to widen.
Musharraf foolishly thought that Kargil infiltration would not expand into a wider conflict. But Indian Army especially its artillery arm shocked Pakistan Army by heavily bombarding Pakistani troops with howitzer, mortar and rocket shells. Most of Pakistani troops in Kargil war died due to Indian Army's artillery bombardment.
And from then onwards Pakistan Army understood that in addition to numerical superiority Indian Army also has technical and technological edge over Pakistan Army.
Not only General Qamar Javed Bajwa but all Pakisan Army chiefs including Raheel Sharif, Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and Pervez Musharraf believed in relative invincibility of Indian Army with respect to Pakistan Army.

Wars are now fought with technology and there is not much difference in military technology between Pakistan and India.

This doesn't exactly come as a surprise. India has the economy, Pakistan is broke. This debate between these two Pakistani journalists shows however how stuck the Pakistani psyche is. Why should India go to war with Pakistan? Indian victory, which is inevitable, would mean that India has to administrate Pakistan during the demilitarisation of the Pakistani state and I don't think India want to do that. It's a fact that India doesn't have to care about Pakistan whatsoever. In terms of destruction, the Pakistani political and military establishment are doing it to themselves. Never interrupt an enemy who destroys himself. Pakistani on the other hand is scared to be left behind by India. The partition is finally just about to be real, meaning that the border, though just a kilometer wide, is a line between two worlds, success and failure. Pakistan is not attacking India because they think they can win. As the ex-general says here, they know they can't win. Pakistan is attacking India because they are afraid of being forgotten, left behind like yesterday's chapati, discarded and sunk into oblivion. Everything Pakistan does, they do it for India. They forgot their identity when they moved to Pakistan. All of their history is there. Chandragupta and Ashoka! Pakistan is built on top of the Indus civilization and Taxila, but they know nothing about it. All they are interested in is Islam and India. Even their support of the Talibans in Afghanistan was done with India on their minds. That backfired, because the Afghan government is working with India. ISI has to start all over again and support IS Khorasan and Terekh-e-Toiba against TTP and the Baloch separatists, who mean business. ISI has placed Pakistan inside a formidable shitstorm and the future is getting out of sight. No one will come to their side now. I am sorry, you may not be informed enough about the roots of the conflict. The whole idea of two nation, which was instrumental in the birth of Pakistan is dependent on their separate identity. They deny their origin from India and to validate that lie they search their identity in the blood of invaders. So by this logic they think they are superior race and can’t hold inferior Hindus in equal regards. Their schools still teach fabricated origins story and racial superiority over Hindus and hate just because of Idol worship. This in fact is public, you may look for videos here where young kids explaining why Hindus are bad, and a lot of these muslims justifying their stands instead of admitting the wrongdoing of their system.

At one time Pak's Punjabi army was phenomenal but surprisingly that army lost four wars with India. Why ! Because they grossly underrated the Indian army. The current Indian military has already attained the highest level of war capabilities. So, definitely there is no chance for Pak's Punjabi army to defeat Indian army. So, Bajwa is really right in this regard. One way to prove that Bajwa is wrong is by launching a lightening fast invasion of Afghanistan and enslaving the Taliban fighters. If that materializes then Indian troops may suffer a massive setbacks.
