As a Filipino, I'm thrilled that you're exploring FMA. I'm looking forward to your insights on the similarities and differences between the 2 systems.

Trained with Coach Narzo over the summer in Oregon. Great guy. Very talented. Loved my 8 hours with him.

I was windering the opinion of hema practioners of Ki.? I have trained in KI primarily through bakbakan kali and palisan eagles daite kali illustrisimo escima. I am certainly no master. I have done sparing vs hema practioners and they are worthy of respect. I admire they can strike and defend at the same time. However their are some things in ki that does well and provides advantages/nasty surprises. I do recomend the fienting and redirection of attacks in ki are useful sneaky advantages. Double sword at bakbakan are also pretty rewarding. My respect to hema. I wish I could learn more , if only i was younger and had more free time. P.s. the ki people I have learned with are nice people and happy to share if you are earnest and dedicated
