- Hey pen friends! Leila (IG: @nibs_out) and Laura (IG: @1003inks) here, and we've got some exciting news, dear viewer! Pen Boutique is releasing a store exclusive pen with Benu! We've come up with a gorgeous collaboration for their Talisman model called "Firefly Stone!" In this episode, we talk about what's new in store and discuss the conceptualization of Firefly Stone. Oh, no....I need to make another trip down to Colombia from PA 🙂 for that simply beautiful BENU! Not that I mind much. I have grown to love BENU as well and this one is in my signature color (purple). Oh, BTW, I also carry a fluorite stone in my pocket to ground me when needed.

You two could not be better matched. Not only you both are a terrific match as enthusiasts, but you both have distinctive tastes that are different than the other, making these videos a blast to watch.
I’ve been into fountain pens now for only 6 years, and I have to say the Benu Firefly is shockingly beautiful. Leila, TALK ABOUT AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY! Although I could afford that nice of a pen, I feel compelled to wait for a Benu pen that I believe is on the horizon…..it’s some kind of commemorative pen to their new place of business: Armenia.
Do either of you, via your connections, know when this pen is supposed to drop? I try not to overspend on this fun hobby, but a Benu pen commemorating Armenia would be a must for me.

I’ve collected a fair amount of pens after being inspired by you two, but that Pilot Metropolitan is still my favorite writer 💗 Cheers! And Laura, Sagamore Distillery has a great tour!
The Metropolitan definitely deserved to be included for sure! It was a toss up between best teacher and teacher's pet.

I love BENU pens. I own four of them and am probably will get this one. They always write perfectly. I have several pens inked at a time and this brand never disappoints. It doesn't dry out and ink flows so nice. I also have a 1970 Waterman that still writes as good as new. I need that Firefly!! Really enjoy your videos. Can you help with how to know if one brand nib can be put in another brand pen? Thanks for these insights.
I can definitely try to help. If I don't know the answer, I'll find it. What pen are you looking to put a different nib into?
