Another great show friends. I use my pens for everything. Journaling, list making, writing stuff, drawing, etc. whatever I can.
Great show!! My pens and notebooks are used for: 1) writing things down when I'm working that pop into my head, but can't do anything about at the moment. If I don't write them down, I'll be mentally distracted thinking about them. This way, I can forget them til I get off work 2) Bible Study notes. 3) I record audio, and I have a notebook dedicated to ideas for songs, settings in my recording software, helpful hints that I discover that I don't want to forget, song settings, etc.

I use my pens for:
Journaling, lists, note jotting, letters & cards, and sketching/art (including calligraphy)
(and a bit of penabling folks)
Laura, I think the notes you take when you are out at events is a form of journaling.
I use Traveler’s notebooks (and some inserts in the slim B6 size from other places as well as ones I make myself with a different watercolor paper) in a cover made by a local leather worker. I also have a smaller Midori notebook I carry when I don’t want to take the full collection. And then I have a few other notebooks I use for various purposes-garden notes, cooking/baking notes, and class planning notes.

What do I write in - a Traveler's noteook, an Oasis notebook, and for correspondece, normally social cards. What do I write? Cards of encouragement, of condolence, of congratualtions, of recognition. Never a standard Hallmark card, but a handwritten short paragraph or two in a 3x5 folded social card. I write in my daybook, draft blog posts, and do some creative writing and reflection . What do I write with? Today, my EDC set includes a vintage Parker 51, an Esterbrook Camden Graphite, a Lamy 2000, and a TWSBI 580 ALR.

Love the ideas for fountain pens ;). I have been buying one every year ($100+) to ensure my grandchildren each have one (or more haha) when I die. I started a journal for each of them when babies & write them a Christmas letter for it every year. I am doing this to encourage each of them to journal and embrace cursive writing.
I love the show, love the honesty, love the growing pains that you’re tweaking. I use my fountain pens for everything except having some issued with my checkbook register. I use gel when I travel, but I’m planning to start taking my fountain pens.
I LOVE the Write notebooks and keep checking to see if they’re back in stock.

Thanks for the show! I use my pens to write letters, work notes, cards, journaling, lists, etc. INCOWRIMO changed my life last year (2023). Since last February, I have written nearly 450 pages of letters to friends and family. This year I put my address in the INCOWRIMO exchange and so I’ve included some new penpals as well. Lastly, OPERA DAY! Go Laura. I celebrate the Los Angeles Opera and all the wonderful companies around the world. So looking forward to La Traviata which will take the stage soon!
Excellent uses, Ben! And, WOW, nearly 450 pages?! That's amazing. HAPPY (belated) OPERA DAY! I'm really into Mozart this week. Enjoy La Traviata. I was moved to tears when I saw it at the Met back in 2019.

Right now using my pen to correct tests. 😂 Writing hall passes for students. Trying to start journaling. Writing notes and copying quotes to improve my penmanship.
I love this, I want to comment on blurry picture, it must be the lens that you are using that is doing that, it doesn't spoil enjoyment of this lovely episode, but you should not have those issues. Maybe camera is too far or too close that is causing that... simple things. BTW, I have blue Estie with journaler nib and I love it, I do have few more Estebrooks, they are all good pens.
Hannah Horowitz, creator of the advice column "So Help Me, Hannah" and an expert on matters celebratory, mythical, and fictional, will tell you this about that: "Laura, the true meaning of Groundhog Day is this--1. If the groundhog sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter. 2. If the groundhog does not see his shadow there will be six more weeks of winter." Can't argue with that logic. Maybe you can, but it won't make any difference. Stay warm, stay inky.

enjoyed seeing different pens. skipped some chatter since video a bit long for me. and the nasal gets a bit tiring, but the pens are the show for me. keep it up, its important to estab a connection with someone at a pen store, i think. ebay is always a risk to buy. today of all times, is about re-establishing trust with someone who is selling!
