The two of you have infectious giggles, and I am here for every moment of it! The princess pens you showed are beautiful, but I must say to everyone to go see them at the store, they are even more beautiful in person.
Question for the two of you, please. Everyone swatches inks slightly differently, how do YOU swatch? What di you use? Where do you put your swatches? How many do you have right now? What is your favorite in each color (ROY G BIV)?
That's a great question! I have a little Rhodia unlined notebook where I keep all my swatches. I first swatch the color with a cotton swab, then with my fude nib on my dip pen, I'll do a little swirl or a figure 8 or something, then I'll invert the fude nib and write down the name and brand of the ink. I have given away a lot of inks to try and streamline my collection; I'm not too sure how many I have now. And I would definitely have to think about my favorite of each color! I know Laura does her swatches differently. I'll poke her to respond!
Woo hoo! I was so tickled by the shoutout -- I'm famous like you all now, but of course not as famous as you all. Loved the "what pen to use in court?" punchline.
And it seems like Penelope took quite a shine to the Orange Delight, and then maybe a Pilot Explorer in purple? Planning to stop by the store and see the new digs real soon now.

Thanks you two for another great show. What is your process for coming up with ideas for your show? Do you have a plan or does the content come from what’s happening in the community?
I was going to ask why your Pelican Pen holder had been named after Odysseus' wife. I had imagined there had to be some interesting background story there but perhaps that question should be asked of HGua. Is there an interview in the works? Also, you mentioned the battle of the pens, what is that? Will you be attending the Stationery show in New York this summer? Would love to hear a segment about that!
