- I've been planning on picking these sets up for quite some time, may as well strike while the iron is hot. I've seen some negative opinions of the Time Cruisers / Time Twisters sets (usually by people who have never owned them) but I always loved the couple sets I had and wanted the rest of the series. Maybe I was the just at the right age when they released. Again Slugger's retrospective series is linked below which really shows the series in a good light. Oh I bought a bunch of other stuff too 😅

Time Pals! And Slugger music!
I know I sure did 😁
Bahahaha!! That video title threw me! 😂
Well it's true! 😅 Bricklink should be paying you a commission 😁
Honestly super glad I got these exact sets, I couldn't have ever gotten them in this good of condition
@@BatteryPoweredBricks No kidding - that Flying Time Vessel was SPOTLESS. Not a scratch to be found!
Call a doctor. He complains about getting old light grey pieces instead of LBG
Nice haul, the Time Cruisers was a great theme. Now your part of the tipper truck army..
Nice video!
oh yeah 23:33 the little saucer thing I had so much fun with as a kid and Spyrius is up there with one of my favorite themes. If I ever do a MOC I'm sure it will be that theme.
The Time Cruiser series happened just as I was transitioning to mostly Technic, I own one of the sets since I have a tony minifig but no idea what set it actually was, that seems like a mystery to figure out at some point lol
I thought it was a really interesting theme though since there were a lot of animatronics (like the wings on the ship or the little axle driven propeller in the hypno-cruiser) thus they held a kind-of middle point between system/technic and the part selection was a weird mishmash so it would "work" with a lot of other themes. I just have a very vague recollection of the lore or anything, I think you had to buy like separate comics/magazines to actually understand wtf it was about so most people just had no idea what it was supposed to be (and I still don't know either, maybe I should watch Slugger's retrospective lol). I somehow always thought the kid was "Tim" from the T on the front.
Yeah I think that's one of the reasons I always liked the theme, it was a way to mix in Technic elements and cool functions. Pretty sure the kids name is Tim although Slugger mentioned he thought it was Timmy Timewarp but couldn't find any evidence that was canon 😅
Translucent panels or windshields without scratches is amazing.
Yes the chains are a problem on the time train.
One less tipper truck in the wild
I couldn't believe the condition of the parts! Glad I got photographic evidence before they get scratches out of nowhere 😅 You can't even pull parts out of a new box like that!
I didn't have any of those bigger race car sets, but I did have the truck with all the little go karts. That birthday present combined with both Aquazone subs for Christmas made for a year I wouldn't forget!
Okay that threw me off when I heard my name lol. Still have all these sets, mixed in with a thousand other Lego inside some large rubber maid tubs!
Your famous now!
Summer is the time to cruise in our twisted tipper, meharty! Hoist the timewarp sails! Our journey will lead us down the tracks we know not where. We may even meet friendly snails hand carrying mail with inscriptions of excellent sales!

You said it! 😅
This is what we heard. 12:11 “A bath…which I’ve never had before…” (sorry- not- lol)
😬
I sense an epic battle of the tipper trucks upcoming.
Small spelling error 😖
Begun the Tipper Truck Wars have...
Nice haul! I love the 2001 catalog, the train page is awesome!
Soooo much aquazone stuff!!!! Making me want to try do a vid about my aquazone stuff. Tempted to a blog of my reef work in progress. Tempted but I don’t have video recording stuff.
My brother in Aquazone, this was all done with a cell phone and a $30 lav mic 😅. I'd love to see some WIP vids from you 😁
Man, i am so jealous (in good way) of your new collection. Last month i have my hands on Alpha Team ATV 6774 and Alpha Team Robot Diver 4790. Buut 6774 without original tracks... And i rebuild from my childhood Alpha Team Sub-Surface Scooter 4791, Alpha Team Navigator and ROV 4792 and Ogel Mutant Squid 4796) Sadly most of the figures was scrachet by me... But they are the odlest sets i have or has... Sorry for my bad english)
All good! English is my first language and I'm bad at it 😅. The Alpha Team sets were another series I really liked back in the day. Maybe I'll have to keep an eye out for them as well 👀. Thanks for the comment!
@@BatteryPoweredBricks Personally i try to make some future to my "Dacha"
garden or indoor layout. I like simple City sets to make nice toyish background) Alphe team is more like childhood dream)
Ok this is weird. I had spiraling shape song stuck in my head and couldn’t sleep last night so I made a short with twisted time train- then this video happened. We may be entangled quantum particles
It's my own train all over again 😅
