Lego floods bring so many memories lol I remember watching people put lego creations in sand then fill it with water. You could see the sand slowly collapse and all the minifigs get taken away 😂
I going to be honest here: I never did ONE of those things. I am (was) really careful with my toys, and especially with LEGOs. The only things that I remember that happened were, some breaking because they were too delicate, had a manufacturing error or because they got stuck in a way I couldn't get them out and I put too much force in them, others were broken by some of one of the children of my parents' friends, which I don't really know well (and that was sad), and the other thing was that I lost some because they were too small and they got absorbed by the vacuum cleaner. All, sad stories.
I'm similar. Always took good care of my Legos. I did do 2 of these things though, namely, sort of rainbow house, I would build stuff out of mismatched bricks, and since we got a couple of these Lego Star Wars brick book things, where it gives you bricks, a couple minifigures, and the book gives you instructions on the various things you can build with the bricks, I would build these little ship things and load them up with pretty much every Lego gun we had, and I'm not kidding, like this one just had literal rows of guns. A couple minifigures did lose their arms though, and I have no idea how to put them back on.
I remembered building a house with a removable second floor, removable roof, and removable chimney, but since I only had a tub of a random assortment of bricks, I didn't have enough of one specific color in any brick to build a big enough house so it had to be built using random colors
I used to freeze my minifigures. I still do sometimes. An ice block in the back of the fridge with a minifigure inside who has been frozen for months is a joy to rediscover.
Worst two rhings i did is: 1. Traded big polar bear chima mech fo one-handed mikey from tmnt 2. Once i said "i don't need these mixels anymore". After 3 months lego stopped doing mixels
