A guy from a Dutch Beatles podcast met Giles Martin in a London Metro for a couple of minutes, Giles said a box of Rubber Soul would be released in 2025.
I can't see there being a boxset of Rubber Soul though, there aren't enough out takes, alternate versions, demos etc. Unless they have stuff hidden away in vaults? Can see it being remixed Help! and remixed Rubber Soul, just standard 14 track albums.
@tijnonline6807 Oh right. I was watching another video on here, possibly the fella from Parlogram Records, and he said he didn't think there was enough, plus the whole album was recorded in space of a month or so.
I agree Rubber Soul is the one most if us crave, but Universal and 🍏 do not always issue what is the obvious thing... perhaps we will get Rubber Soul and Anthology Bluray...
Hiya Dino, I think you have hit the nail on the head ,yes I also think they will be doing something on the Anthology in 2025, in fact I think I said something earlier in the year on one of my videos, great work by the way, really enjoyed this video, cheers, Dave
@@beatledavetherecordcollector Thanks for watching and commenting Dave, you have a great channel and collection! What do you want released more than anything?
Dino! Thanks for the help with the subs. I think there’s a chance I won’t make it. Now & Then was advertised as the last Beatles single. So maybe they’d just release an EP with FaaB (remix), RL (remix), N&T and one other. I think most people would want Rubber Soul remixes over Anthology BUT Apple never give us what we want these days, so look forward to the Xmas FanClub singles boxset next year!!
Rubber Soul is wanted by so many of us, I cannot see the Beatles Christmas singles being issued again and regarding The Beatles final single... I equate every quote to The Who and Status Quo doing their last tour over 40 years ago... 😂😂
I dont think there are enough out takes to warrant Rubber Soul or Help box sets, so I think they will combine them for a deluxe 1965 box, possibly including Shea Stadium footage on a Blu-ray. I'd happily part with my hard earned cash for that package. I think the remastered Anthology will be streamed on Disney+ at some point towards the end of 2025.
@@GeorgieWood765 Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. You raise a very interesting point. A Beatles 65 Boxset could compromise 1965 recordings, or Anthology 4 could have tracks 1963-1965 withbunissues recordings.
Beatles 64 is a good compliment to the First US Visit, nothing else. Anthology can wait, bigger priorities such as the missing LP Boxsets, Star Club with the new technology? Anyhow, so many possibilities.
@teresabenson6087 Hi and thanks for watching, I am sure we will get a 1965 set of some kind next year, we all want Shea, let's keep our fingers crossed it happens 🙂🎸🏟
The long version clocks in at just over 27 minutes. It's a slower blues style that is similar to the outtake from Anthology 3. I think they dropped the ball a bit having not released it as a bonus single disk with the White Album box set a few years back. ❤
I think a proper hi-def Anthology would require rebuilding from scratch. All of the material on the original was in 625 lines PAL, regardless of the source.
ITV showed the Anthology documentary back in 1995 didn't they, but I'm sure those rights have passed now. It'll probably be remastered with extra footage and shown on Disney Plus.
Pretty much love the 1+ Blu-Ray, I just wish it had an option for original mono audio and that the surround mixes were less Atmos style and more discrete separations. Eight Days a Week was mixed bag for me, I thought there were a few good stories told in the doc and I appreciated the theater screening of Shea. I loved Get Back/ Let it Be. My dream is that Criterion do the Let it Be film one day. I have yet to watch Beatles '64, I think I'd like to speed watch it, just the 20 minutes of new 1964 footage and the Harlem and Ronnie Spector segment. I really hope we do get an expanded Anthology project cause there are some rarities that still need to be released that didn't make the Super Deluxe album boxes. Personally I would like to hear Carnival of Light but I know it would be a rough listen. I also think fans deserve an official release of Revolution Take 20 as oppose to just the Take 18 rough mix.
Thanks for watching and your comment. Beatles '64 is something I will not watch again, I hope Shea gets a Bluray release, plus Around the Beatles, The Music of Lennon and McCartney, however I do not want to hear Carnival of Light, and hope Disney DO NOT make Beatles Cartoons, but this would not surprise me...

@DarrellS54 Thanks for watching and commenting, I am certain Anthology will be released in 2025 in time for crimble 2025 in amazing quality and with extra footage..
I love the idea of a 30th Anniversary Beatles Anthology set!! Like you Dino, I'm a bit more of a 2nd generation fan, though I was born in '64, the year they played on Ed Sullivan and filmed A Hard Day's Night, which remains among my all time favorite films! 😊 CHEERS! 😊
Hi Dino. I'm a First Generation Fan. Seeing them live in London KILBURN N.W.6. I'm messaging you about that brilliant Picture of The Boys in their Sgt. Pepper Uniforms. Where can I get hold of one. I do enjoy your videos. Great Reviews
I have the self same canvas print which I picked up from my local market here in Derby, but I do believe you can get it quite reasonably on the good old steam powered internet online thingy at places like Amazon or E Bay...
The Washington collesium concert featured in Beatles 64 had virtually no restorative effort put into the sound and film. When a couple of clips were featured in The Beatles anthology the footage of that concert had been polished up beautifully. I'm all for anthology getting a 30th anniversary reissue on bluray, vinyl and cd in 2024.
Thanks for watching and commenting, for the Washington 1964 concert Long Tall Sally was incredible, I could hear every single note of his bass, though admittedly I was sitting near a speaker at the cinema showing 😅
@ The long tall sally live clip was a treat. It's something many of us would have never seen previously. There's a killer version live in Melbourne at Festival hall back in June 1964. Ringo just about demolished his drum kit while John was greeted by an overzealous fan who jumped up on stage.
Not true at all. Just listen to Roll Over Beethoven at the end of the film. In the original, George's microphone is not working for the first two lines, then he moves to a different mic. That was restored. Then, when he plays his guitar solo, most of it was way down in the mix; again, that has been restored. I believe the true 4K footage (and audio) was restored by Peter Jackson and his WingNut team. Anthology was only ever released on laser disc and dvd so yeah, I'd like to have it blu ray as well.
There's plenty of material not used in Ant 1 to 3.....those albums only contained representative tracks from live shows and TV shows.....plenty of bits still to choose from......not to mention possible Ant 2 style constructions. Kick it off with Now and Then.
My guess is they could keep the 3 anthology formats (to honor the amazing artwork), but expand them from 3 LPs to 4 each (or 3 CDs) remixed a-la the recent Red and Blue's.
You make some great points Dino ! The question is who is running Apple and Capital Universal for The Beatles released Red and Blue expanded I think good idea but why not put on Free as a bird and Real love remixed on Blue album change name 1967- ? Anthology 4 good idea with new song who knows just put out good quality product that's all new and old fans would like yes Rubber soul box set remix done with quality yes maybe hook it on to Help! Just keep the price reasonable the problem with Beatles Capitol mono U.S. box was the price and they should have put the 1964 Hollywood bowl concert remixed with book on 1964 the beginning of Beatlemania in America then keep price under $230 U.S. so price is the driven force Mind Games and Living in the material world were over-priced box sets they didn't sell great but this Beatles Capitol US is selling pretty good on Amazon price has dropped $277 US down$25 ! The record companies need to work with the fans also The Beatles need to work with the streaming services like Spotify and Disney to bring the music to the younger and older fans so streaming is the most important! Thanks Dino keep your videos coming
Thanks for watching and commenting and you raise some very interesting points, we all know Apple/Universal are in the business of making money, but it seems they issue things which most fans have 90% of, but will buy just to get the missing 10%.... We all have the choice not to buy something, but it is hard to resist temptation, I would like the U.S albums, and George's Living.... Boxset, but will wait until the price hopefully drops, of course I may totally miss out on them....
I have never seen either of those videos you mentioned. I thought it was an interesting take on a nation needing some healing and the Beatles were medicine America needed right then. The audio was superb. Having watched Peter Jackson's get back and the A.I. used to clean up that audio I wondered if it was used here too. As a late comer to the Beatles I really appreciated both Beatles 64 and the Get Back Sessions. If they re-release Anthology blu-ray It's an insta buy for me. Absolutely Love "Now and Then" I wont apologize for it. Not one bit, it's a beautiful song. If they put out Anthology 4 I would love Now and then to be on it. Here is a thought, if you are a die hard collector, and you got everything already......bear with me......do you really need anything else, it's ok if new stuff comes out for new comers. There is no reason to gate keep, The Beatlles belong to all of us, not just the old guard. I'm 51, so second generation, my Dad lived through it, he tried to get me hooked on them in my pre-teens and teens but I was into Heavy Rock, Manowar, Motorhead, G'n'R, Alice Cooper, AC/DC....not "old people" music, now....I can't get enough of the Beatles, I love all the reissues as it allows me to get new on vinyl/CD/Blu-ray. Anyways, my point being, the Beatles are for Everyone, greatest band ever!
Thanks for watching and commenting, Beatles fans are a greedy lot, we want more, more and more... some of us (like me) want to own physical products and our desire to own everything is like an obsession, what we do not like is being shortchanged or ripped off, I consider the Red and Blue albums last year a rip off and Beatles '64 has too much needless talikg on, but to new fans it may be absolutely fascinating. The Beatles first U.S VIsit dvd is the definitive account of the Fabs in February 1964. Now and Then is now one of my favourite ever Beatles tracks, such an emotional beautiful song
No-one's saying don't release stuff for new fans, but older fans want the boxsets (with all the outtakes and extras etc.) for the albums they haven't done yet + the Hamburg Recordings (fixed by Peter Jackson) + a first release of all the stuff we know exists but has never been released.
Real die hard fans want the truth and thats why we can never get to the good stuff of what happened to Paul in 66. When you get to the Paul is dead clues the whole world of beatles makes more sense and becomes more intriguing and sinister for the music industry as a whole.
I'd drop dead with shock if All For Love came out? Really hope it's a finished song? Anthology dvd shud be expanded and all albums remixed/ remastered........Anthology 4 in a few years, also a dubble live CD with enhanced sound called Beatlemania with ultimate sound? The last unknown John song finished is prob Street of Dreams Nov 1980 studio demo.....
I'm not that fussed about Anthology 4, would much rather see a Blu-Ray release of the Anthology TV Series, after all the George sections from Anthology that appeared in Beatles 64 did look like they had been cleaned up for inclusion in this doc. I now feel that maybe is the time to slow down the rate of all these releases, or there may well be a danger of over saturation of the market. The whole anniversary thing went out of kilter thanks to Covid back in '20 anyway. I would now like to see the remaining albums get their day in the Super Deluxe Box Set Sun, staring with Rubber Soul and then Help! But a little bit of space between releases, to give us fans the chance to save up for this stuff, because let's face it, not everyone can afford to splash out on one box set after another like that and it would be only fair to let every fan have a chance to be able to buy and enjoy these releases.
Thanks for watching and commenting, there have been so many releases and still so much more to come, each of us have our own preference of what we would like and none of us will be pleased all of the time or be able to afford everything. I think back to 1963- 1965, The Beatles issued two albums several singles a year, played concerts, and had many items for sale in the shops and through the fan club, no doubt it was also expensive being a fan back then... 😅😮
Hi Dino, I don’t know if there’s enough unheard music, other than more out-takes of the same songs. I’d like to see more footage of Paul, George and Ringo recording Free as a Bird, Real Love and Now and Then, with the other 2 re-mixed. More footage of the 3 of them in George’s garden etc. The original Anthology (on DVD) just needs cleaned up with better audio. All the best!
Thanks for watching and commenting, I remember watching the Anthology on TV, then buying the VHS set and later the dvd boxset, obviously technology has moved on so much, and when Anthology does come out, like you I hope for unseen footage of the Three Fabs sessions. Have you got the unofficial Directors cut?
I would have a Anthology 4 which would contain Beatles' Movie Medley, Fab Four On Film, Demo's of Free As A Bird, Real Love and Now and Then, all the 1995 reunion material (Ain't She Sweet, Thinking Of Linking, Raunchy etc. then finishing with remixed versions of Free As A Bird and Real Love
You mentioned the obvious album possibilities for box sets, but let's also bear in mind that we haven't had a box set for 'Yellow Submarine', 'Magical Mystery Tour' or any of the many non-album songs released on "Rarities' or on the two 'Past Masters' albums. Perhaps these could be re-organised to constitute an interesting and worthwhile box-set or sets. How about a box set of 'Live' concerts, now that Peter J. has the means of cleaning such material?
I liked Beaties ‘64 . Yeah it could have used more Concert footage but it was still great . I was disappointed in Living in the material world documentary tbh . It didn’t cover George’s career evenly . Cloud 9 - one of his biggest albums isn’t even mentioned .
I think Disney know there's a lot in the archives when they bought the rights to the Beatles stuff. I imagine Hard Days Night, Help, Magical Mystery Tour and Yellow Submarine will eventully get put onto the platform if not they are already restoring the blu ray versions already out. I think Anthology will also be put onto Disney plus in Episode format. I wonder if they will show the versions from ITV with the extra bits in or wheter it will remain with the dvd versions. They will likely do the same they did with Get Back and wait a little bit for die hard fans to sign up to Disney plus to see it and then annouce the blu ray version. I am also wondering if they revive the Yellow Submarine remake Robery Zemekis was working on
Has the existence of All For Love ever even been confirmed? If it was written, were any tracks laid down? I'm doubtful. A remastered, extended BluRay of the Anthology series is a must, but I'm not sure about the CDs. At the time, we were told these were the last word in unreleased recordings, but we now know from the Super de Lux albums that this wasn't the case. I doubt there's much left now though. I hope we'll see Free as Bird and Real Love get the Now and Then treatment, with vastly improved John vocals, and I believe we should get the chance to hear Carnival of Light at some point. Perhaps this and the three Threetles tracks could be a bonus EP with the BluRay's? Other than that, I'm not fussed. I'd like to see Paul give us de Lux versions of London Town and Back to the Egg more than more Anthology albums.
For the love of God, why don't they use MAL to clean up every live recording ever recorded and remove the screaming? Other than the rooftop, I've never heard them without it but warts and all I'd love to. Deluxe sets of all of it before I die😂
@charlesp683 Thanks for watching and commenting, I am sure many of the recordings will be cleaned up, I imagine Hamburg and Shea Stadium are top of most fans lists.... which ones do you want? 🙂🏟
What I would like is a box set of Blu Ray of a set of DVDS I got about twenty years ago of each year with the Beatles in Germany, Holland and Australia. Plus The Beatles TV appearances in 63 &64 which includes a cleaned up Around The Beatles when they dressed up in Shakespeare’s characters etc. But I really want is a cleaned up Star Club tapes released. I could go on. How about a box a 63 & 64 box set which PPM , WTB, AHDN & BFS albums remixed with extras. Then Beatles 65 with Help! & RS remixed. I’ll stop there.
Thanks for watching and commenting, like you there is so much more I want, perhaps a bluray cd boxset of live gigs, Paris Melbourne, Shea, Japan and more.... I live in hope that somewhere there is footage of the Beatles Cristmas shows...
@ Christmas shows that would be an exclusive. Keith’s Badman is the man. I know he has lots of stuff. But not seen anything from them. But you never know.
@trevorbrown2813 Haha great comment, we are a greedy bunch who want everything and thankfully over the last 10 years we ha e had some amazing releases, but there is still so much more that needs releasing to satisfy our ever hungry hearts.
If there is a final Beatles single - it SHOULD be "You Know What To Do" - the unfinished George Harrison song from the Hard Days Night sessions. It has George, John & Paul on it - George on vocals. This could be finished with Ringo playing drums/percussion - & Paul adding lead guitar, extra bass or piano, backing vocals etc. This would be a REAL Beatles song - unlike "Free As A Bird", "Real Love" or "Now & Then".
Anthology 4 could include extras from throughout the years, plus remixes of Free as a Bird, Real Love, and Now and Then. It could also discuss the Cirque du Soleil, "Love" album mixes, and some of the Star Club live recordings, remixes of BBC shows. Not Carnaval of Light. Oh, and on a side note very disappointed in Beatles '64.
@@Zholobov1 Like I say these are my personal thoughts and... many tacks have been found since the Anthologies came out 30 years ago... Anthology IV could be a triple album of highlights from the set 🙂
@dinovesh those tracks are on sessions bonus discs, added to the new Beatles remixes already. There's not that many rarities left to be included in anything
Just watched Beatles ‘64 on Disney+, every quote used in this documentary-even every word used-serves a purpose; the footage-I can’t ruin it-of the Beatles and the other performers featured in these moments of music history is superb; it is heartbreakingly sad to only now hear and see pristine sound and video footage of the American acts that influenced the Fab Four. Love John, Paul, George and Ringo, Love the makers of Beatles ‘64, It’s So Fine, It’s Sunshine, It’s The Word, Love Spread The Word Love

Thanks for watching and commenting, it would be great to have those you mention released 😀
@dinovesh tru
@ Hi Dino, I haven’t got the director’s cut which sounds interesting. Like you I watched it on TV, got the videos and then the DVDs!
5:48 😄
Thanks for watching, it does sound like I am hammering it like Maxwell.... 😂
Yeah, a better title of the new documentary would Beatles February 1964.
I would love an HD version of the Anthology documentary, but I don’t think it will happen. They would probably have to redo every shot.
A task to be placed into the hands of Peter Jackson.
@@TigerRogers0660 Thanks for watching and commenting, that is a great, unfinished song... 🙂
What Anthology IV? Be realistic.
Love John, Paul, George and Ringo,
Love the makers of Beatles ‘64,
It’s So Fine, It’s Sunshine,
It’s The Word, Love
Spread The Word Love
There will be no Anthology 4.
beatles 64 washington d.c. concert clips are very poor video quality.they didn't even improve the soung. they could have at least raised the drums and they didn't.
