I came to this video wondering, what the heck is a motorized slider, watched the video and found out.
I like your slider build.
I like that chop saw attached to your vice.
I like the music playing.
I like the rooster crowing in the back ground too.
I have to say that track and slider is a great idea for a track cutter with either a plasma torch or oxyacetene torch. With 2 more tracks (one on either side) you can literally cut anything with a plasma cutter with a cad program and some gear.

Great idea. Ever consider making an all-thread screw type lift? All-thread and nuts on a track. Probably lift more weight, too.💪🏼 😉

Do you have a video of making a slider without play?
I’m trying to make a diy drill press, but the plunger still has some play even though I left just one A4 paper as spacing, I did clamp everything hard... all I need is a 20cm long sleeve to hold a 2x2cm pipe that should slide without play, perhaps with lubricant

Its only a igbt 200mma inverter welding machine
Very clever. However welding arcs produce ultraviolet light which can break chemical bonds which eventually may cause cancer and other problems in your skin and eyes. Professional welders completely cover all parts of their body with hot bulky uncomfortable clothing and helmets mainly for this reason.
This is the Filipino way!
I've never gotten a sunburn welding and I almost never wear gloves.

It´s simple and you have space on the front of your slider that is just perfect for it.
Just cosnider it, it would almost no effort and time to upgrade it.
