Hello to everyone...
After a long break, I am here with a new video. In this video, I realized my "Sliding Angle Grinding Stand" project, which I think everyone needs. This stand is very useful as it allows you to cut long pieces smoothly. I only showed an example of cutting iron in the video, but we can cut all kinds of materials by attaching different cutting tips to the angle grinder. My purpose in making this tool was to use it while renovating the floor stones around my house. I laid approximately 120m2 of travertine stone by cutting it with this tool. Additionally, with a separate module that can be attached to the stand, I could easily make 45-degree vertical cuts and chamfer cuts to prevent the ends of the stones from breaking. By the way, the welding machine I used in the project is the one I made with 2 microwave oven transformers. You can also find the welding machine video on my channel. @ Thank you for your swift answer. I'm using FreeCAD but the final design it's not so great unless I use Blender for better rendering but I'm not so familiar with it. I have already downloaded some plans of yours using the links you have provided and I'm working on some modifications that will suite me better related to the spot welder... On the electronics I'll go for a sewing machine foot switch instead of a mechanical one that you have implemented. I'll go for a timer circuit using a 555 chip. Instead of the delay I will use a tension regulator... Regards from Portugal.

on page 7 the Metal Pipe is 10mm, but the F688zz bearing diameter that is supposed to fit in the pipe is 16mm. is this correct?
is it possible to use this tool to slice along the length of the metal profile?
Hello. Firstly, thank you. For use in the metal tube 6000z bearing on page 7. The hub hole of the 6000z bearing is 10mm. The outer diameter of this part is 10mm and the inner diameter is 8mm. Its intended use is to ensure that the bearing fits properly onto the shaft. The metal pipe used for the f688zz bearing is a piece cut from the water pipe. This bearing is also in the pipe used as the handle. The pipe used as the handle is a plastic water pipe. I hope I could explain. On the other hand, I couldn't understand what you asked in your last sentence.
@ the pipe marked as *GrH* on page /4/, its dimension on page /7/ is outerD=10mm and innerD=8mm and the length is 8.5 (I will assume it is in cm🙂) but on page /9/ the figure marked as *GrH* has F688ZZ bearing.
as for my other Q, if I have a metal profile 40*40mm with length of 3m, and I want to cut slice one of the sides along the length, so that I would have a grove with 10mm *3m on one of the sides along the whole length.
I was thinking to slide the grinder twice along the profile with distance of 10mm
GrH group is the part that connects the section where the angle grinder is mounted to the sliding mechanism. It's kind of like a hinge. I used bearings to make it more sensitive. 688 bearings go inside this pipe. I understand your question now... You can cut the profile with this system. Before starting the cutting process, fix a fence to the base on which the profile can lean. When fixing, check the sliding system at the beginning and at the end. In this case, when you slide the profile, that is, when you come to the new place to be cut, the alignment will not be disturbed and the cut will be smooth. I used this tool to cut travertine stone and easily cut a 1.5 meter long stone as I explained.

Merhaba Aydemir bey. Uzun zamandır yazmadıniz... Ben Sketchup programı kullanıyorum. 3d çizimi hazırladıktan sonra çizimden ekran görüntüleri alarak worde atıyorum ve PDF e çeviriyorum. İnanın PDF hazırlamak 3d çizimi yapmak kadar uğraştırıyor.
@ iş değişikliği oldu.bu ye i iş tüm zamanını alıyordu. Sonunda eski isime veri döndüm. Kurtuldum. Artık daha çok yazarım. Zaten hep takip etmeye çalışıyorum. Yine harikalar yaratmisiniz takipteyim..
