+Chris Falcon you could use a coping saw for the cutting of the engine.......you can get all kinds of blades for cutting plastic they only cost a few quid.
Hi Chris. Love this video series so far. Excellent job. The black paint in the grooves of the cockpit halves may prevent the two halves from closing tight. Looks like the thickness may be just enough. Also love the blue lights.
Awesome!! I got nervous when you started to close up the cockpit, it looked like there were some fiber optics sticking out the edge. Wish I can afford this, but I did get the Revell/Fine Molds 1/72 Falcon still saving up for after markets for it.
hello, meanwhile fantastic job with the engine lights, may I ask if you are willing to share where you are getting the flashing lights? I read here in the comments by a certain mr, holland. how I could contact him if he is the producer, if not could you direct me elsewhere on a similar product ?? thank you
I forget, where did you get the fiber optic lights from? If I recall, they were different kits, between the landing lights, and the cockpit lights. Did they both come from the same supplier? Great video and great job on your build so far. On an unrelated note, are you excited for SWTOR KOTET (Knights of The Eternal Throne)? I am a bit disappointed for the lack of new operations to be honest.
Heat up a hobby knife under a flame and it will cut through it like butter you will have to keep reheating it but you will get a better straighter finish
Does anyone know if it would be possible to colour the original LED strip for the engine with a transparent blue paint of some sort? I assume this would dim the effect too much?
Aghhh man !......I spoke to Mr Holland yesterday and he said he's ill Which is not good news and I hope he gets better but yet he's supplying you with all these lights .....coming up to 5 weeks and I've had nothing ....I'm gonna have to email him again.......Chris when did you receive the grill lights?
Terriffic job man. Congratulations from France.I'll try this add-ons.for my Falcon. But i don't know hwo to work wiht fiber for cockpit.Only glued to the wall behind ?? How it's work ??
Kevin just keep up to date with Mr Holland through email ..I do know he's a little ill at the moment but it won't hurt to get in touch and to see about your orders

Very good job mate, looks awesome.
Looking good Chris... just wondering what size fiber optics you used for your cockpit...???
how did you get the fiber optics to stay. did you glue or use some other way
GREAT COCKPIT LIGHTING!
I love the BLUE engine lights as well - Great work Chris!
Maybe fiber optics in the GUN TURRET BAYS as well?

You need to paint the fiber optic strands not the end to stop light leaking in from the surrounding lights
do all these lights fit into the existing DeAgostini power board, or do you need something extra ?
where do you get the lighting kit from
hello chris, wher you bought the coockpit lighting set please? thanks
Great job on the work you've been doing!!!
What size of fiber optic did you use for the cockpit?
Hi Chris, from which store did you buy flickering led lights? There is no comments about your purchase

could you let me know where you bought your fibre optics from? i am building the millennium falcon myself and like what you have done
Awesome! Chris be careful. When You place it all together Han Solo will accuse You of stealing the Millennium Falcon. Incredible model!

How did you attach the fibres to the cockpit wall?
Same glue as I have been using throughout!

Shame they don't flicker, I am building a BanDai 144 falcon and I am also using fibre too
I ordered my lighting kit from Their Holland in June and am still waiting for it. I think I threw away 100 bucks.
Have you spoke to Mr Holland?
+james78ish I got an email apologizing for the delay over a month ago.

I'm interested in finding out about these blue lights. How can I contact Mr Holland ? How much do they cost ? Is he in the UK ?
