Thanks. Getting much closer to the end. I finally received my last parts last month, after a 3 month backorder. I'm hoping to finish her up soon and post more videos soon.
The Y adapter I made myself using some JST 2.5mm 2 pin connectors like in the link attached. I glued 2 male connectors back to back, then soldered wires from the female connector to the 2 male connectors. www.ebay.com/itm/50-SETS-JST-XH-2-5-2-Pin-Battery-Connector-Plug-Female-Male-with-120MM-Wire/253250139173?epid=12002509181&hash=item3af6e27425:g:aeUAAOSwLVZVvPEd
Great work Chris!!!!!! I like to see a diagram of the lights and connections for the Falcon and show the pics on Facebook or Instagram. Anyway; CONGRATULATIONS!!! Greetings from Mexico City!!!
Hey guy listen I just bought a 1:58 scale Millennium Falcon model kit and want to light it like it was on the Cloud City Landing platform could you please tell me how to do that and what I need for unclosed casing light kit ? Thanks
Trying to tell you how to light it is near impossible. Just way too much information. Also not being familiar with that specific kit, I couldn't say. Best is to just watch my build to see what I did. I do mine builds on the fly, so I have no set way. I just decide what I want to do and research to see how to accomplish it. LED sizes and all are on an s needed basis, so changes depending on what I'm trying to do. Depending on the kit you got, there may be pre built lighting kits available, and our photo etch as well. Sorry
@@modelsbychris No prob I understand I was just going off on what you where doing. but oh yes definately I will be doing an exhausting research of movie stills and model photos to get it to look like the tesb one. Thanks Again

Hello from Barcelona. You are doing an incredible job, I look a lot your videos as a reference to make my model. I do not know much about electronics, you know some page that explains how to do the electrical installation as you are creating them ??? Congratulations and thanks for your videos
Those were pins I had laying around from somewhere that I honestly don't remember. Years ago now. But I did not end up using those anyway. I get 3d printed covers from Shapeways instead.

Hello, you could tell me that they are or where to get the pieces that appear in the minute 3 and that you used for the exterior lights please, thank you
I just realized maybe your doing that in the next video. Also I saw on your diagram but not in the video. Are you planning on putting the caution lights in the forward mandibles as well as the collar of the cockpit? Really enjoy watching your stuff. Amazing work!
I'm not planning on doing all the floods around the bottom. Since my Falcon will be in a flying position, I'm not going to want to have those on. I'll probably never even have the ramp down with the other landing lights
Hi again Chris! A couple of questions: How many illuminators and caution lights have you installed? I’ve been able to locate...2...3 illuminators... And how many fibers into each one? Are all of them connected togheter and to the same board? Thanks so much, and you have an “ALL INCLUDED” vacations here at Spain to finish mine!! :)))
I have 1 white for the solid cockpit LEDs, 3 blinking white (for different timing) for the blinking cockpit LEDs, and 3 red for my caution lights. Oh, and 1 white for the nav computer in the hold.

No problem, always look forward to your videos regarding the falcon, thanks to you i also used the paragrafix for the gun wells and inspired me to do the same. Same will be said for shapeways warning lights. Im surprised you havent modified the ramp to hide the motor and add the 3rd set of struts.
Since my ramp will never really be down and on, I haven't made an effort. For me, it's only kind of a "hey look, the ramp works too" thing, then I'll shut it back off since it will be in a flight position

I did not put any in because my Falcon is in a flight position. If I had done it with lending gear, I would've added the lights.
