According to my 5 foot 10 teens, the 3rd row is great (moving from a Colorado7 to the CX90), they have plenty of head, leg and bum room in the CX90. They usually opt for the 3rd row over middle seat for bum room in the Colorado7. Personally I think the bigger issue is going to be the constant in and out with those captains chairs in the middle row. I do agree with the white interior being an odd choice, especially for a family car. I may be able to convince them not to eat in it, but not to touch anything white is impossible. Mazda have come a very long way since the original CX9 - which we had before the Colorado7. The CX90 is longer and wider than the 4WD!
@Jenny, How is the dampening on the Suspension, is it a bit not Floaty and bouncy ? I have the Cx-60 and very disappointed how it rides. I know it has 20 inch wheels on a rather heavy SUV but the shock/spring combo is very underwhelming especially considering this is a Mazda and renowned for mastering perfection. Just wanted to know if the CX-90 fares any better ? I hope there will be a recall soon, otherwise gonna fit some Koni's. it looks very similar to the 60 btw, just larger.
Question: why do car reviewers spend a lot of time describing what they look like? We can see that from the camera's point of view. Otherwise, a good review. But, no detail on the mild hybrid system. How does it work? How much power, battery capacity? Thanks.
Hah! I like the way Jenny looks slightly guilty for enjoying that motor-roar! I guess after her recent diet of lentil-bean electric vehicles, the satisfying purr of those cylinders must be the aural equivalent of Belgian waffles ... !
I recommend watching the car care nut review of the CX-90 as it has major serviceability issues. There should be more to a review than liking the color or style
Firstly, that channel is run by an independent US mechanic, we do not claim to be that and his insight is going to be different than our everyday review. Secondly, mazda have a 5 year unlimited km warranty that will mitigate any large issues inhouse, thirdly, other smaller software issue that have occurred are easy fixes and no doubt have or will be sorted. Lastly, I certainly talk about way more than the design and style, if you did more than watch the intro you'd know that.
This Clarkkent fellow is going out of his way to promote the car nut guy. I have no idea why it seems unbalanced. I have purchased this car in Canada and love the Mazda styling and driveability. Every vehicle needs maintenance but my 2017 cx9 GT has been economical and I expect the cx90 will offer similar attributes. The car nut guy does offer some interesting arguments if you are concerned about residual value and believe Mazda reliability could be an issue...personally I do not!
@@Kdd-pt2bt I was very interested in the CX-90 and did plan on purchasing. I however do significant research prior to purchase. What I found is shocking and I feel others should also have that information before deciding. The power train extremely complex with cylinder deactivation, engine stop every time you take your foot off the accelerator, transmission deactivation for coasting, electric motor boost, and electric motor generator for regen braking. And this can happen hundreds of times in a normal drive by electro-mechanical actuators functioning. And to top it off there is little serviceability of engine components. This has NOTHING to do with styling or drivability and if you don't plan on keeping the vehicle after the warranty expires then ignore my comments. Do with the information as you please. Those that have already purchased a CX-90 did so without researching and that is on them.
@@xsej4223 Dude you work for Mazda. Tell your managers that attacking people commenting about the lack of CX-90 serviceability and insane complexity is not working. The truth hurts
Nice review, nice car, and of course nice Jenny 👍

I too enjoy a light interior, which is different to saying white.
What is the reasoning behind de-rating the tow capacity for diesel?
XC90 mentioned at 1:52
and XC60 @ 0:56 but hey, let's not nitpick, lest we enter a rabbit hole

Honestly, to me it was very sporty and totally unboaty! I've not had the chance to drive cx60 yet, so surprised there seems to be a big difference
Nice car and nice presentation 👍👍
They’re not twin turbo its a single turbo for all powertrains just to make a correction
It has along bonnet to fit the long engine, an option is a H on the bonnet.
please explain the H option
That interior looks gorgeous!
Err, you said like the XC60. Its CX60
damn. the wheels are half as tall as jenny

It’s a fine art. I really appreciate the analysis. 🧑🎨

Not the best sound quality during driving.
Aw we were trying something different to get more engine noise. Can't win em all :)
Nice review. Looks very "heavy". I suppose I am just tired of that Mazda shape.
Better than palisade, telluride, sequoia, highlander,...and Honda pilot
Nice looking and nice voice

Haha! Yes the roar and power were fun to experience in this massive unit! More than expected must say!
Hey!
Thanks for replying.
I love your work on the "tube". I'm glad you got a bit of a laugh out of my nonsense comments!
God bless you, Jenny !!!
