Mexico to Belize

Our first sight of the Caribbean sea was in Tulum, Mexico.
We crossed into Belize with great expectations but were thwarted by hurricane Beryl!! We knew it was the rainy season but the hurricanes don't normally start until later in the year. As it happened Beryl turned north, but when we got to Belize City it was forecast to make land there. We can't rush anywhere in Mabel so we made the sad decision to cut our losses and head west to Guatemala and then south ASAP
