During my age as a kid, my dad has been sentenced many years and as I growing up, I followed in his footsteps. For the first time I was sentenced, I met in prison face to face with my dad. But afterwards many years ago Jesus founds me in the same prison and my life was never the same again. But if dad and son met in prison as gang leaders, who is a good example for who? God is great. I’ve struggled with terrible things I’ve done and God forgiving me. I’ve been saved and slipped back into sin. I want to regain my relationship with Jesus. I struggle with betraying God and Him not wanting me back because of things I’ve done and ignoring Gods will by back sliding. I desire our relationship again. My job and my family is really beating me down. I struggle with drugs and suicidal thoughts. I really struggle with addiction. I’ve known Jesus and really want to change. This has been a real inspiration.
Keep the lord in your heart. I relate to you because I struggle with drugs as well. They distract me from the lord. Pray pray pray. God is almighty. There is nothing he can’t do. We will be saved, and we will be cured of all of our addictions. But we must be willing to sacrifice and withstand the withdrawals and agony. We must get help so we can better serve the lord. And we can do that through God himself.
Jesus is with you. We all go thru terrible trials in our lives. Someone told me once that the closer you draw to Christ the more Satan tempts and deceives you. In your heart, Jesus still dwells, he has not abandoned you. Satan lies and makes you think Jesus is no longer with you but he is. Trust in Him. He knows you and loves you. I realize it’s a hard thing to accept, I have doubts too, but it’s true. Don’t let Satan destroy you you are a child of God. May God bless and comfort you in Jesus’s name.
An incredible story, an incredible life and an amazing transition. For 5 years I have heard the voice of God and for 5 years I have refused to commit my life, my heart and my future to God. 1 week ago something happened that has changed me forever. Last Sat God breathed life into me and I asked God to take me. Best decision I have ever made.
Michael, in my 26 years as a Christian, i have never, ever seen a man so full of God as you. It has nothing to do with who you were, but who you are now and how God has transformed your life. The first time I heard Michael's testimony, I got up and kissed the crucifix I keep on my wall. Now I recognize how God has worked parallel in my life too. And was merciful to never give up and got me away from a toxic living situation. I hope other catholics can be inspired by Franseze's story :)
I have heard this brother tell his story in different outlets. One was a secular radio station where they just interviewed him about being an ex mob boss, and then hearing his personal testimony of how the Lord saved him. The testimony is the greater story. Jesus gets the glory!!
