Andrew Carnegie learned the method from studying the life of Jesus. Most people don’t know that. But Napoleon Hill was not a Christian like us so he added a bunch of weird stuff near the end of his book. But the basics of the method comes from Jesus’s example. That's an interesting subject too. The idea of tithe (1/10th) has been taken to only mean income. It was first mentioned in Gen. 14:20, between Abram and Melchizedek king of Salem after he blessed Abram and said: "'Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth, and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.' Then Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything." I'd love to hear this one broken down too!
The Tithe was never nor is a valid law for the born again believers in Jesus Christ. At one time in history the Jewish people were obligated to this ordinance along with 612 other ceremonial practices. The Jews today dont even pay tithes as it is impossible. Several questions: How many tithes are there??? What were the tithes given from??? Who were they given to??? When did the tithes stop in Israel and why??? What organization resurfaced the tithe in their industrial practices and for what reason??? Lamentably the tithe preached in the church is the greatest financial fraud in the history of the world post resurrection of Jesus Christ.
