Anime Studios are doing what they can to keep people interested on the Manga, if people want to be mad at Bleach, they need to take it to Tite Kubo, cause he took forever to get those chapters out, to the point the Studio making the Anime had to insert whole Arcs and big ones at that. give the Studio the respect it deserves, people!

Season 2 & 3 are really dang well written in perticular cuz at first you might just think it's a well written Romance but after S1 specifically it becomes really Philosophical -
Although bleach is in the big 3 & one of the most popular anime of all time, I still find it incredibly underrated. I see lots of ppl praising Naruto & Op for their “deep writing” when bleach is way more nuanced & thought provoking in my opinion. Although i’ll admit the anime doesn’t do the manga any justice in terms of character writing/execution, I still see ppl downplaying bleach as a style over substance series which is painfully wrong

I'm caught up and feel like it's too much, if it was more fast paced and still had 1000 i might not feel it's too much but yeah i feel like it's too slow paced and i guess that's why people recommend the manga over the anime. Maybe even if it was fast paced i still wouldn't like it that much. There are lots of things i like about one piece but also lots of things that i dislike so it's between liking it and disliking it 50/50

The guy that say bleach was overrated didn’t say anything about story or quality his only complaint was the filler and it’s understandable as a bleach fan I hate the fact that when I have to tell a friend to watch bleach I have to warning them about the big fillers because many give up because of amount of them is insane, he was spot on with deadman wonderland tho 👌🏻

I feel like Americans and brits should have no opinion on over rated animes cuz they're only being fed the animes that are popular with the population. if you ask any Asian on whether shingeki no kyojin is overrated 9 out of 10 people will agree and I love shingeki no kyojin but its definitely is overrated solely because of the English speaking countries. If it had never left Asian it would've been a pure under the radar classic. PS if I were to give my answers to Takashi's questions I'd say JJK overrated cuz it literally is proven by the recent Crunchyroll awards, Vinland Saga s2 is the most underrated anime of past decade cuz no one really talked about it plus if you look for Vinland Saga s2 reactions you'll find with below average view count just cuz the English speaking audience cant handle a slow burn that actually teaches you better morals than 90% of the anime you'd have ever watched and that's sums up on why western education is going downhill and is literally shit housery at this point. Now my favorite anime of all time is Mob Psycho 100 which is also severely underrated, it's one of those few stories that I'd recommend to every growing teenager cuz it's that good and impactful.

The idea that a story is bad for something it didn’t even make the studio themselves forced into the story is insane to me.
One thing I can say about JJK is that it's not a shounen...at least most of its elements have nothing to do with your typical shounen manga. It lacks the traditional tri-elements of "friendship, hard work and victory" in the shounen genre and focus more on the clashes between individuals with different ideals (or lack thereof), with nothing good coming out of them. And that's exactly why some people don't enjoy it.

Yeah, I love OP, it's my 2nd most favourite anime out of hundreds that I watched, but it's not perfect. I will give it to Oda that he does some insane foreshadowing and worldbuilding like no other series does, but there are series that do a better job in other areas.

The most underrated anime for me is samara 7. All of you probably going to ask "what's that" and than start searching the opening song for it. Which you should; I love the song! Never in my life have I seen anyone mention this anime or even meme about this anime. Just never to the point that it feels like I'm the only human being on this planet that is aware of this anime. The best anime is not the favorite anime ... Often the time of watching the anime in childhood, adolescence or adulthood plays a role in determining that. In addition to the fact that the best anime you will recognize its quality, while the favorite anime you will be related to and still love it even when you admit its flaws.

People don't know what overrated and underrated is, none of the big shonen can be underrated, sword art online can't be underrated, Berserker can't be underrated, they are all very well known and liked anime.
For me an anime like Chunibyo would a good example of underrated.

Black Butler is so underrated. I'm so happy the anime is following the manga instead of doing its own thing like before. But the series gets so overshadowed by all the weird fans combined with its reputation it got from the mediocre 1st and 2nd seasons, and it's truly a shame. One of the best plot twists I've seen and a really engaging plot to boot.
Always find it funny how videos like that are titled "asking people in Japan", and it's all non-natives.

I was watching AoT and had to drop it mid second season, but I've seen so many times it keeps getting praised. Is it really that good later? Should I give it another try? I just didn't like the story personally, and many of the main characters. I dig the animation and sound/music in general though.
If you don't like it don't force yourself but if you want to continue then all I can say is season3 part 2 is one of the best arcs of any anime. Season4 is also very good. I'd say ending probably was the most weakest part of it but it wasn't bad just not that good compared to other parts

Ngl OnePiece being overrated is actually a fact, especially for the last 1-2 years it's being super overrated. The anime was great till the end of wano but the egghead arc feels too cringe first the animation then the oversexual showing of female characters including a literal 10 year old child. Manga is still great though and is several tiers better than the anime but it also have some pacing problems.
So in conclusion OP is a great anime but at the same time it's super overrated

Bruh.... After reading the whole JJK manga, i am not even excited about any further upcoming seasons. I mean it was my favourite anime when season 1 came out, but now? Not really anymore.
Jjk is carried by Gojo and Sukuna. I remember losing interest after 4 episodes of season 2 and only watched the episodes in which Sukuna fought.

@@nonexistent944 The manga really gets "deep" into how cursed techniques work and honestly it's confusing as hell. I understand how they can describe the details in manga but it's going to be really difficult translating that to the anime. (Hakari's CT is going to go on for way too long and is going to be a mess in the anime)
JJK feels like it's a continuous series of Deus Ex Machina on repeat. The animation will probably carry the show, but I'm not a huge fan of the manga's direction.

It had so much potential but somehow it got really messed up along the way but we can't really expect anything since the author himself isn't even serious about his own series. He wrote it as an experiment in the first place. Anyways i am dropping the series. Not worth it at all.

As a manga reader, I get the hate for My Hero aacadamia.
As an anime watcher I don't get it. I'm anticipating the anime ruining the story more than it already has (you can't tell me glossing over Midnights death and how it tramatized the kids doesn't severely hurt the story) but it's still a good show when you aren't familiar with the source material.

I agree that demon slayer is the most overrated anime in a while, if not all time.
I think that the character devolopment is very lacking in the main charecters and even the secondary ones too.
I think the most underrated anime is actually two, the first season of the promised neverland and dororo.
The first one is magical. The charecter devolopment is unreal, the animation is fantastic and the plot twists.......... absolutely mouth watering.
The second one is criminally overrated, it is like a very concentated vision on life, and the charecter devolopment is legendary, studio mappa always delivers, and dont get me started on the voice actors 😢
An anime that i would recommend is the promised neverland, death note and jojos phantom blood, but my favourite is hunter x hunter.
Edit: and i forgot the most underrated senen of all time, MONSTER.

personally i don't care that much when people say aot is overrated (even when it is my favorite rn) what i hate is when people say stuff like "you love it because you haven't watched enough shows" but that's not true?? lmao I've watched plenty of stuff (not anime in particular) and idk about other people but i never thought of aot as the greatest cinema ever. i just personally loved it a lot. its great entertainment where i could enjoy a little "gore" without it being too much (I'm too squeamish for gory/torture stuff. yes even if it's only an animation. i dropped tokyo ghoul after first or second episode lol). it has heartbreaking moments alongside its epic moment, and the most important thing is that it has almost zero fanservice (i'd say it has none but maybe there were some i missed). i just abhor most of anime fanservice (or sexual jokes) involving women btw so there's that. its just like finally i found an action/shonen anime thats for me lol. anyway if you hate it when people enjoy something YOU don't then you can suck it

Actually many of these fked up on the original manga. It is the anime that saved them. Thus we called it overrated.
My answers. Overrated - I was never able to feel, invested, in any of the "big 3" anime's plots or characters. Underrated - Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Mushishi come to mind pretty quickly. My favorite that I always go back to - Katekyo Hitman Reborn. There are plenty I've enjoyed over the years and even currently from all varieties of series types, and many that had huge fan bases that I could not get into. I watched another reaction channel absolutely tear Spirited Away a new one recently because they were looking at it as a plot based tale instead of a character based tale and did not understand a lick of what was being shown on screen. They were looking for that big battle and that big wrap up, and that's not what the story is about and the comments were brutal to the point where one of the reactors commented an apology and explanation. It was pretty upsetting all around but again, not everything is meant for everyone.
