I Love It! In Case You're Wondering About The Buildings, The Museum Is Actually A Temple, And It Belongs To The 2nd Level, Marble. Which Is An Ancient Ruins Level The One At The Top Of The Mountain Is Called Scrap Brain (And Yes, It Is A Factory And It Is The 6th And Last Level Not Counting Final Zone, Though It Is A Part Of Scrap Brain) I've Somehow Never Noticed That Doorway Near The Beach Area Before, Nor Can I Think Of What Its Supposed To Be. For Now, I Guess It MIGHT Have Something To Do With Green Hill Act 2 In The 8bit Version Of Sonic 1 (Funnily Enough, The Game That First Showed What South Island Looks Like) I Should Also Note That In The Origins Map (The HD One) You Can See Some Springs Floating Behind The Loop, Possibly Indicating That's Where The 3rd Level, Spring Yard, Is Located. The Inside Of The Mountain Is Where The 4th Level, Labyrinth, Is Located. And You Can See Some Moving Green Platforms Around The Area Above Marble, Indicating That's Where The 5th Level, Star Light, Is Located (Not That You Should Go Back And Add The Springs And Platforms, The Map Is Already Good As It Is) If You're Looking To Make More Maps, I'd Recommend Westside Island From Sonic 2, Never Lake (And Maybe To An Extent, Mirage Island From Sonic 4) And Little Planet From Sonic CD (Though I'd Recommend Making The Zone Map Rather Than The Shell We See On the Map) And Angel Island From Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Preferably In That Exact Order (Though If You're Making The Full Mirage Island, Than Make It After Angel Island And Make Little Planet By Itself) Hope I'm Clear Enough, You're Welcome!
@softythepillow the whole thing? I mean he could and I bet it would look great, but i think it would be interesting to have it done like an actual planet. Either way is great though.
It’s so pretty!!! For how many amazing things you’ve created it’s almost crazy how none of them are from sonic! The rock mountains you sculpted are so gorgeous and the loop-de-loop is so cool :3
For the funfact section (and I'm happy to get corrected if I'm wrong): I think I haven't seen a loop in Sonic and the secret Rings. Or maybe I just forgot. But even in this case there would be a very tiny amount. It's probably because the loops would be desorienting with the controls. I never played the older Sonic Games, but I always liked the checkered aesthetics of the green hill zone. It's no must by any means, but I always liked that you put in the baking time and temperature in older videos. Everyone can google this for Fimo, or check on their own packs, but I think for everyone just watching it can be interesting. Really like those Worldmap/island videos, the Super Mario World one inspired me to make this a hobby myself^^
Sonic and the secret rings was so fun! I love the checkered look too, I just wish I could do it with clay… Oh okay! I could go back to that. I was just experimenting with this new style and it seemed cool to change the theme each video, but it would make sense to actually have the temp and time also. I’ll think about it! Thanks for the comment and suggestion!
@@Kerobyxclay there are also no loops in the master system version of sonic 1 which is ironic because its the version with the south island every subsquent game based the island on (and in sonic origins it added a loop wow)
Never realised you hadn't made a Sonic creation before. Also nice to see you back to making the bigger map creations! PS, I know exactly what you mean about mixing to get the perfect color, and then just never using the rest of it lol
This looks so good!!! You really captured the feeling of the map. If you wanted to do more Sonic stuff there's always the other islands! Namely Westside and Angel Island from Sonic 2 and 3 respectively
Conversely, I played mostly classic 2D Sonic games, and pretty much nothing of the modern 3D ones! The first South Island map technically comes from a different game than the OG Sonic 1 for the Mega Drive. Nah, that map came from Sonic 1 on the Sega Master System, which isn't just a straight port either, it had its own zones, like the Bridge Zone and the Jungle Zone. But the map in Sonic Origins is very much so based on it. In terms of Sonic maps, there's quite a few I'd love to see ya tackle! - West Side Island from Sonic 2, although that one's a little basic in terms of landmarks - Angel Island from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, the floating island - maybe the Veg-O-Fortress (yeah, that's its name) from Sonic Spinball, I think it would work greatly for clay - this one is a wide stretch, but there's also Little Planet, in the way it looks like on the Music Selection screen, the D.A. Garden, of Sonic CD.
West side and Angel I want to make happen for sure! Is it... Vegetables? Lol I had a few other suggestions for this one as well, it looks pretty awesome!
@@Kerobyxclay yeah... The weird name comes from the Veg-O Machine, installed on the fortress, and it's the machine that Robotnik uses to turn the animals into Badniks, or as they say in the comics and cartoons, to roboticize them. I also discovered that this was meant to be the original name of the roboticizing machine in the Sonic SatAM show, but was changed to be called the Roboticizer. I dunno where the "Veg-O" even came from, but it may have something to do with the animals being put in a vegetative state, when they're roboticized?
@@Kerobyxclay oh yeah, definitely! So strange in fact that, lately, SEGA still hasn't been able to give it a name! Old media says that Sonic's world is either Earth, or a planet called Mobius (like a mobius strip, the shape Sonic's feet take when he does a peel-out), but that's old stuff from some cartoons and comics. Nowadays, it's just kinda... nameless. We don't even know if the humans from some of the games still exist, it's very weird.
@@Kerobyxclay I mean you do turn into Super Sonic & become invincible, but the Chaos Emeralds separately are having there own powers & abilities, rather than just being collectables & just turning you into Super Sonic.
I’ve always liked the little islands in sonic origins with some of the locations from the game like sky sanctuary being over top of angel island and little planet floating above never lake. It would be awesome if you made all of them and for sonic cd to add the areas on the planet, you just need to search up everything about the zones in the game. If you do it then good luck 👍
Great work, always happy when I see you've uploaded! Seconding the Chao Gardens from SA2, and I would also love to see Mystic Ruins or Emerald Coast (even just a chunk of it) from Sonic Adventure.
I love your videos and I think you should do a donkey Kong tropical freeze map world with one of the wooden circle thingies. Thank you for your videos and I am glad your arm healed well. :)
Nice, looks really nice Just had a thought but it might be a little too ambitious but what about the different sectors in splatoon 3, they do have a lot of detail though 😅

Maybe you could make a 'scene' from a screen shot of a level?
You should make the Chao Gardens from Sonic Adventure & Sonic 2: Adventure Battle.
That’s been a project I’ve wanted to do for a long time! Those are some of the greatest games!
As a clay artist myself, i have never acheived this level of determination and quality. You have earned yourself a spot on my heros to meet list.
Thank you so much 🥹
i will LOVE if you make West Island from sonic 2
I think this guy should have more subscribers cuz his creations are outstanding never seen someone work better with clay!😄
It looks amazing! My favorite detail is the jagged rocks.
Thanks!

I probably should've gave more info when explaining everything back then but I think you managed to make it really appealing.
