This was an amazing map that, apparently, was a long time coming. Glad to see your thumb's better. As for other Banjo Kazooie maps, most follow the same formula of having a beautiful central landmark and then a ton of little areas in a ring around them. Just about any of them will make an amazing diorama, so I can't wait to see which one you make! :3 ...As for which one I personally would like seen, I think Rusty Bucket Bay would be an interesting challenge, making the oily water and the ship. While many people hate and fear it, I love the level for what it is.
I agree, they are very similar in concept, but in a good way. Yea I’m definitely on the hating side of that map haha. Have you also played banjo tooie? I’m working through that right now.
@@Kerobyxclay I grew up almost solely on Rareware games, and know every level back front and center. I do hope you're enjoying Banjo-Tooie. With so much more added, it feels very different from the first game, and has some really imaginative levels. And once again, I love the one level in that game that everyone else unanimously hates XD
@@Rellik165 The good news is that we still have collecting plaformers in indie games, Demon Turf Neon Splash, Hat in Time, Fez, Tinykin, and the upcoming Billie Bust Up.
Spiral mountain looks like a mint cinnamon bun and I am all for it. I super admire how good you are at blending seams so seamlessly (pun intended). Smoothing things out that well takes a skilled hand!
I feel like you could've gone through with a paint brish and dabbled it on top of those yellow pieces representing the tallgrass or wheet. To give it more texture, making it look like multiple different strands of wheet. But I still love this clay build. It looks amazing. Im excited to see a new video each week.
Banjo Kazooie is getting a ton of love on the First 4 Figure site. They've made huge statues of Banjo and Kazooie, Mumbo Jumbo, Gruntilda, Banjo(Crocodile, Bee, and on soon to be made Walrus Banjo form). Kinda pricey tho :)
That's an amazing recreation! Like Boundary Break, it's always great to see that map from a different angle, and it would be cool to see it in person, zooming around the map from the top! Also, spoilers for Tooie, you can go behind the waterfall in a small section aptly named "Behind the Waterfall"--probably because many who played the first game had the same thought as you!
Thank you so much! I actually went through Tooie after beating Kazooie! It was way different, but also really good in it’s own way. Especially how you couldn’t just 100% a level and then move to the next, you had to go back and forth a lot. To be honest, I’m not sure if I did that or not haha. I remember clearing the spiral mountain area and finding a lot of new stuff though. I want to play nuts and bolts next!
@@Kerobyxclay Yeah, I think Tooie is underrated. While it has its issues, I think the interconnectedness and large worlds is actually a positive. When I replay Banjo-Kazooie, I know all the routes. But Tooie I continually get lost in each replay, and that adds to the fun for me. I get many others prefer being able to 100% everything in one go. Maybe in a Threeie, you could 100% in one go, and then post game leads to interconnected shenanigans! Everybody wins haha
At first I really didn’t like it, but it started to grow on me. It brings more value into the levels. Instead of clearing it and never returning. I saw there’s a game boy advanced one that takes place in between the 2 games. That might be worth checking out!
Do the Newer Super Mario Bros Wii world map, it will take some time, but it will be fun, I suggest to make the main world map with Rumble ruins(world 2), Mushroom Peaks(world 3), Pumpkin Boneyard(world 6) and Bombard cliffs(world E), but also do Yoshi’s island(world 1), Goldleaf Forest(world A), Mini-Mega Island(world B), wich are in saperate islands of the main world map, and Sakura Village(world 4) and Freezeflame Glacier(world 5) wich are at the back of the main island.
To me Banjo-Kazooie is interesting experience. I didn't have N64 when it was released for two reasons. First, my family was not wealthy enough to be able to buy a new console. Second, in my country it wasn't even sold much. Probably was in some exclusive shops, because Nintento didn't like my country and my country didn't like Nintendo either. So it was a big NO to me. Though I remember that I've seen an ad of N64 with, I think, Mario Kart on some magazine. Probably TV programme, but I may be wrong. I obtained my N64 with two games - Banjo Kazooie and Mario Kart, for the magical price of 1 EUR in Germany on Flea Market. And Another 1 EUR for Super Smash Bros. I would never be able to get it otherwise. It was in 2003 iirc. Or 2006? May have been the latter... And I generally love Smash Bros. and that's how I became fan. I also loved to play Mario Kart. I did play Banjo-Kazooie but I wasn't really a fan of it at first. I wasn't good at games so getting to the later levels were impossible to me. I remember having problems even in early levels. It was years later that I replayed it, 100%-ed and that's how I became a fan. I think it was around 2010 at this point that I started liking the game. I can't call that a nostalgia, because I was already not a kid when I played the game or started liking it. Currently Banjo-Kazooie is my #1 top favorite game of all time. What I initially didn't like - the unorthodox gameplay - is what I love now. Spiral Mountain might be a short area but You always starts here and because it's short and small it's easier to remember. Because You always go there when You play. And if You didn't beat the full game once, You didn't reach to end game areas. But You always were here. My favorite level is Clanker's Cavern, but I'm not sure it this would be doable as big part of the map is underwater - tunnels, caves etc. I mean You could always just do overwater parts, but I'm not sure if that would be it. I think the best map to make would be Mumbo's Mountain, Freezeezy Peak, Mad Monster Mansion or Rusty Bucket Bay. MMM would be cool, but I think it'd be too difficult. Also making ship of RBB could also be problematic. Also take the sub.
Wow thank you for the insanely long comment! We never had banjo kazooie, but a friend must have had it because I remember playing bits of it. You got an INSANE deal there! Smash bros is a must! I still think the first one is my favorite, whether it’s from nostalgia or not. I definitely didn’t appreciate it until I was an adult because that’s the first time I was actually able to play it, as a kid, like you said is just too hard. Yea that’s true about spiral mountain, and it is where banjos house is too. Mad monster mansion would be a really cool one, but the mansion itself would be super hard to make. I think I could pull off the ship though. Thanks for the sub! I hope you enjoy my channel!

But I changed mind in the end and I am happy I did! As for the level to chose... I really don't know what would be the best one. Some look cool but they are still too complicated in the end. Like You say, the mansion itself. Spiral Mountain was the best, because it's just different mountains etc., so You didn't have to model the whole big building. And it's probably the biggest solo map (not including Click Clock Wood, as these are 4 copy maps with minor or major differences here and there), so it would also may pose a problem. I think Mumbo's Mountain would be the best to do, because it's not too complicated, but still has some challenges.
