- Today, we're taking on an epic craft project inspired by Sonic Origins Plus and use LEGO pieces and clay to construct a moving paper loop that forms the basis of our game, onto which we've painstakingly created a miniature, handcrafted version of the SONIC THE HEDGEHOG Green Hill Zone from polymer clay.

Fun Sonic Facts!
-Sonic was once supposed to be a lighter blue, but he was too similar to the sky. He was made darker to be more visible.
-There was a competition to make the design of Sonic, and one design was a Teddy Roosevelt Lookalike in pajamas. He evolved into doctor robotnik
-Some designs from the contest were: A rabbit, a bulldog, and a fox.
Actually, Sonic's original color was dirt brown until he received his powers from the treadmill. Then he was his classic blue

As a fun bit of bonus trivia, Sega actually got their start making electromechanical games like this before video games took over the arcades. There's something oddly satisfying about seeing their mascot as an electromechanical game, like he's going back to the company's roots.

I love that you used Lego in such a fun and creative way integrating them with clay and even cutting some pieces apart to kitbash them into something new! I’ve found that Lego and Bionicle pieces are also amazing for action figure customization too! The ball joints they offer are especially useful in adding a ton of articulation to more basic figures

I can not explain how smart this was! The legs, I thought you where going to color the legs all red but the way you did it is past what I would of thought of. Again this is amazing!

Genius is an understatement
Sonic’s classic design is so iconic! I love seeing it in every facet possible.
That’s kind of cool to sing this guy make a real life version of sonic the hedgehog game out of clay and Legos but a lot of sacrifices have to be made and the Legos sacrifice will not go in vain for making the real life sonic the hedgehog level

gonna be honest I watched the Tetris one you mentioned before this and just went "aw, this isn't as cool as I expected. he's even using his hands instead of just the magnets!" but this one legit blew my mind. it genuinely feels like a proper platform game and it's insane

As a Sonic fan I'm amazed by this, but also as a Lego fan this video gave me pain
Same! It's only a few pennies of bricks & pieces being mutilated, for the best reason, but I had a visceral reaction to seeing the Lego drilled into even though I think the sacrifice is more than worth it. I'd be glad to see a few more pieces go to waste (maybe he should get bulk bikes from Lego or Bricklink lol) to see Tails running or (spinning tails) on the a variety of Sonic levels to fit this new arcade game he's invented.
