Jalhandar on a Stencilled Background - A Lavinia Stamps Tutorial

Another card featuring Jalandhar the Jellyfish from our latest colection of large stamps. This time the background is created using one of our new stencils and acrylic paint and the card is embellished with Mica Powder and Glossy Accents resin.

Aahh, you've given me another medium to play with on the Gelli Plate. I did not know you could use alcohol inks in this way. I was struggling a bit with the technique from your first video using the stencils. Of course, I don't have the same products; paints and paper, but I kept pulling off bits of the paper when pulling the print. I found if I left the paper on the Gelli Plate till the paint dried, I did not have that issue. I don't know if it is the paint or the paper or a combination of both. I'll try the alcohol ink and see how that works. I can't wait for my US supplier of your products to get the new stamps and stencils in stock!!

I’m hoping when you add more to this collection to include more ocean critters like octopus, whales, different fishes, and the like I would be thrilled to see your large designs include more critters. I’m hoping! Just loving your new collection, lovely just lovely! Maybe for people like me who just love your designs you could just have sets for sale like you did for the adorable stencils cuz you know we can’t order just 1 lol! Have you ever considered a guest designer series? I would love a chance to do that?

Thanks Tammy, so glad you like the new stamps, i think an octopus is defiantly on the cards.... I am the only designer at present but thats not saying that wont change at some point ☺☺
