Jo, I know this is an old card but I absolutely love it...the colours are gorgeous and the beautiful effect you got with your gel press is stunning... it was magical before you added the bubbles and stars but even more so afterwards... love it... 😍🤗💕
I am SO glad that I found your channel!❤ Not only is your work lovely, but the way you explain 'what & WHY' you're doing it, it really helps me to learn, understand & retain the information. My memory is not what it used to be.😉 Thank you so much for your videos & the wonderful inspiration. I almost feel I can do it. But, I know, I will try.💜 P.S. I absolutely L❤VE this card! Tfs
This is an older vid so don’t know if you’ll see my comment. Thanks so much for showing this. I was so scared to try, but you gave me confidence. Don’t have much self confidence anyway, but it was like sitting with a kind friend. Thank you a million times, I just felt I could, and I did!
Katherina, thanks so much for leaving your comment, and I am so pleased that my video gave you the confidence to try and to create your piece of art. I am thrilled to spend time crafting with a friend....hugs xx❤️
Magical treat! Fabulous demo with so many helpful tips and tricks. You're a natural on screen-lovely voice, keep us riveted, and beautiful hands. Thank you so much this is a big help!!
Hi! I hope you don't mind me answering your question: "Brusho" is the brand name of a powdered watercolor, and they are absolutely amazing. There are often many colors in each one (for example, the "green" also has flecks of blue and red and black.) There are a bunch of cool ways to use them, and you can just UA-cam "brusho tutorial" and see what you find. For this technique, I would highly suggest the video "Colorbox and Brusho Backgrounds" from the Lavinia Stamps UA-cam channel - that particular video will show you how to do this easily without buying the little rack of tiny cups that is used here. (Basically, you mix the Brusho with a little water and sprinkle it on with a fan brush.) Hope this helps! 😊
Wow, BEAUTIFUL! Really appreciate how well you explained everything & your thought process. The background looks amazingly vibrant & I can't wait to try it myself :-)
Tracy, thanks for watching , the thing with brusho powders is the amount of water that you add, I wonder if that might be the problem, also the card stock needs to be good with water . I have made another video that may help...will add the link for you...also my email is jrcrafts28@gmail.com if you wanted to send me a photo , it might help...xx
Heidi Weatherall the VersaFine Claire is a permanent ink, and it may stain your Brayer. I would recommend a dye based ink for the gel plate, and to get these results...such as the ColorBox, distress inks, oxide inks , Adirondack inked etc...x
I don't mean to be rude, but it was almost impossible to hear you. I had my volume turned up to the max and I could not hear you. Love your card and your designs!!
Thanks for your comment, I’m really sorry that you had trouble hearing me, I have listened again on here and I can turn the volume up without a problem. Not sure why you had trouble...hugs x

I’m in the us. What cardstock would be comparable?
Is colorbox the way to go with backgrounds on gelliplate? When I try this with my versatile clairs I can barely see anything transfer
