    Thanks Junior for a great and really useful review. My local bike shop is getting the Specialized Turbo Vado 3 IGH n for me to test ride and I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks for mentioning about the paint rubbing away. I'll see if I can get some protective tape to put around those areas. The bikeshop owner also puts some protective sealant into the tubes when he sells a new bike.
    Look at me talking as though I've already got it!😆🚲 The shop owner also managed to track down a good deal for me on the Specialized website. Said I wasn't bothered about the colour more about getting a good price but I should be getting the red.

      Yeah, old tubes are great for so many things. That spot to me looked like a good place for cloth Tesa Tape. I use it all over my bikes. On the bars for friction where I mount lights & cameras, at abrasion points on cables/bag mounting spots where they'll rub, chainstays, and internally routed cables where they might bang the frame and make noise. It also keeps cables together and could wrap a finger or something to supplement a first aid kit in a pinch. And those are only the bike uses :)

    Nice bike man...I just got my Vado 4. I'm really thinking about upgrading my seat to Brooks 17b and getting a better head light. I don't like the stock head light. In my opinion, It's flimsy and blinds oncoming traffic because of it's lighting pattern.😁👍

      Hey bro, thanks for the suggestions! I'm actually looking to get another seat. I'll check out the one you suggested. I actually tilt my head light downward so I can see where I'm going. I actually getting annoyed when other cyclist are not considerate with their headlight. I literally cannot see when I go past them.

      @@JuniorPullen I think cuz I live in the USA it goes 28 mph I guess it was only a 20 mph. I think it a firmware update that allows it to go faster. I believe in Europe it has to stay at 15 mph anything faster you have to get license and insurance. There is a company called speedbox they make them from Bosch and I think they make them for Bros there's another one called a badass check them out. I think badass bikes

    A useful review thanks for the info. I'm a keen cyclist and race. The 15mph has always put me off but to be honest 15mph average speed to work would get me in quicker than sitting in traffic. I can recommend getting a brooks saddle if you are struggling with comfort. They can take a while to break in being leather but once they have they are very good. An update video on the Vado would be great!

    • @JuniorPullen
      @JuniorPullen  2 роки тому +3

      If you live in London, I would highly recommend getting an Ebike as it saves you so much time. I was thinking of getting a Brooks saddle, however the price put me off lol. On the other hand, I think the seat that came with the Vado is becoming more comfortable now. I will definitely do an update video soon!

    When I buy a bike or always take my specialized Bridgeport seat with me as I’m used to it
    I’m looking at getting this bike but I want to go faster than 15.5 mph, I’ve seen bikes that do so not sure as they are more than this at the moment
    As these are at £2200 price mark now
    Great vid by the way

      I am not too sure. It should probably be the same as the 2021 version. The main difference might be the software. On the other hand, the frame on the 2022 version looks a bit slimmer, especially in the area where the battery is placed. That's the only obvious difference.
