I would like to see a video of the different pitch heights and how much space you lose doing so ❤

Well done review. I recently purchased (for some reason) a Zpacks Altaplex Lite. $700. I used it on an overnight and hated it. I'm 6'1 and the back wall goes right over my face. The rainbow zipper as you mentioned in this video falls to the ground. I am used to opening the lower zipper just a a touch to retrieve something I left outside, and you can do it with that rainbow. I think I was a little pre judgemental about it because of the price. I just sold it, and went back to my GG The One, as it is 17 ounces and much more roomey and a much nicer price. All this to agree with you when you said that these DCF tents may not be for everybody.

Yeah I really don’t like the zpacks rainbow door design, maybe it’s fine in less buggy areas, but around me I really don’t want my tent door to touch the ground.
And I agree that DCF tents aren’t for everyone, something I’m realizing over the past year of trying out ultralight is the weight savings aren’t always worth the cost.

I appreciate your review and good attitude. Been searching for a good 1 personal UL Tent to dial down my base weight when I want to and still fit comfortably inside. I have the TT Aeon LI: stellar tent but it is just too small for me. Staying away from the Zpacks: I own 2 of them along with PTSD from pushing the floor ends out past the canopy edge too many times in the rain and getting wet. This one may be it.

Thanks for the review. How would you rate the condensation issues - similar to other single wall tents, better, worse?

Great question, I should have mentioned that in the video. I haven't used every single wall tent on the market, but from what I've seen it's about average, the higher pitch can certainly help with airflow and to battle the condensation somewhat. But as a single wall tent it's always going to be vulnerable.

Get the tarp tent instead because it will not droop. Tye bug net weighs the sides of the tent down. Paint the pole jack so you don’t leave it behind.

I have a double rainbow li from tarp tent and it’s great, is there a specific one you are talking about?
