I am 75 years old, you inspired me to do something creative. Put up 4 6 foot shelves, now I feel so much more organized, a place for everything and everything in its place. Can't thank you enough. Enjoyed your video. Las Vegas, NV April 24, 2021
just a suggestion...use a lines of blue tape horizontal on the wall just below where you want your shelf, and mark the blue painters tape. Rip it off when your done. That way no erasing pencil marks on the wall. :)
I swear I thought you were going to say it came out way more than $30 writing everything down for the next time I go to Home Depot. Thank you for this amazing DIY!
WOW this is so awesome, I was wanting something different to put in my craft room and this is so awesomely perfect !!! ! Thank you thank you I LOVE it ......
Nice nice! I bought 3 floating shelves (lack Ikea), I installed 1 but I have a window that I don't use and I want the top 2 shelves to go over part of the window and well I can't use the bracket it came with, so I am looking to add these pipes to hold up the shelves!

That’s a great idea!!!
Pro tip for the future: spray paint your screws before putting up shelf to make them not stick out. :)
YES!! I think I ended up taking a sharpie to them haha!
Great job, love them…
❤❤❤ These look great! Would they be able to hold very heavy books?

Hey guys!! Hope you have a great holiday weekend! Stay safe! 🖤🖤
The boards don’t slide on the pipes? They just sit on them?
How far did you set the pipe from the end of the shelf?
What is the exact size of plywood you bought? Dimensions?
They are pine boards, 2x6x8 :) at Home Depot for about $4 a board!
@@gregoryINmotion how did you secure the board to the pipe
What type of wood did you use for the shelf?
2x8 framing lumber from Home Depot, only a few bucks! 🙂
What size is the wood shelves?
10ft x 8 in deep x 1.5in thick :)
I've never seen a studfinder work....
How deep were your shelves?
8 inches :)
@@gregoryINmotion thats what she said
What is the width of the wood you used?
8 feet long and 6 inches deep :)
I did it too. This is what I used Woodglut designs for
Go to woodprix if you'd like to know how to make it easy. Good solution for every woodworker.
Those metal pieces aren't cheap
It was better to get the pipes off amazon where you get all pieces included instead of buying separately. Thats what I did.
I did the same!! Got them on amazon, 27 for 6 sets where as if bought at my local Lowe’s all the pieces would have been almost $50
You can get PVC for way cheaper and simply paint them to look metal.
