- Today we check out the Mr. Scary mod by Legendary Tones in my Mojotone British 50 Kit through a Bogner 4x12 with V30's and Greenbacks! I'm so glad that i bought this for the amp, its definitely worth checking out!
Really nicely done and recorded! Great tone (and 1 o’clock on the Mr.Scary we find is the sweet spot too). 🤘🏻🤘🏻
You are the man for this one! What a tone monster!
You get an awesome mid growl with that mod.I am having a Plexi clone being built for me right now and will add this mod to it once the amp arrives.Great video.
It is an awesome piece! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed by it! And thanks!!
Sounds killer! You dont need anything else for a hot rodded Plexi tone. Deserves another 5/5 profile!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Sounds killer. Many amps that have come out after the 2203/2204 might sound different. But it's hard to say that they sound better 🤘.
Dig it! would love to know your amp settings you were using
As far as I can remember, most of the EQ was just around noon! With the MV at 11 o clock, and the preamp/gain being changed through the video!
Nice demo, thanks dude! Killer tone for us tone-whores. Slapping one in the Badlander 100 🤘
Thanks man! And that will be killer! I want to demo a badlander! Never have played one before
@@Jesse_Stiles you will love the Badlander 100, but even more so with this mod in it.
i have one in my badlander 50W...whole different animal after!!! cheers all!!!
@@geraldrauch1701 Awesome! How hard was it to disassemble and install it in the V2 slot? What did you have to do? I've never taken apart the head.
no disassembly needed...just take the preamp tube out and plug the mod into that slot...you will need to ask david for a socket extension as the tube socket in the badlander is recessed into the chassis...the socket is V3 in my 50W...very easy to do...5 minutes tops...cheers!!!@@killboxone
That mod in that amp sounded really good along with that LP. Are those Dimarzio super distortion and 36th anniversary in that Gibson LP?
Thanks man! And close! It’s a 36th in the neck and a fortitude in the bridge!
