probablemente termine llorando,
déjame regresar a tu vida.
This song is a wound for me...
But I come regulry to listen it and remember my lost love....
Listening in 2020. Same song, same death, so good!
I wanna fall in love with someone while this song is playing in the background :)
it's so beautiful
This song was originally recorded in 1971, it was the first song recorded for their debut LP, the other songs were recorded in 1972 and the bonus tracks that are present in future CD reissues were recorded in 1973.
Who is the group
@@frankgrim3095 the modern lovers
Thanks to this song i know about Hot Summer Nights
Awesome movie with Awesome soundtrack. Great Song!!
I'll seek out the things that must've been magic to your little girl mind Now as a little girl you must've been magic I still get jealous of your old boyfriends in the suburbs sometimes.
Casandra V. G. That's my favourite bit as well. 🙂
That part ☺
If only the rest of 1972 had sounded THIS good.....
Just discovered this band and can't believe all the years I missed out
“there’s a lack of sweetness in my life”
Great lines all over this sheet of lyrics 👊👊👊
Very creative music + vid. Nice.
Pay attention to the timing of the edits. Lots of work and feeling.
Bravo.
One of the best songs from the album.
Don't forget Egyptian Reggae ! I have to admit this one is cool, though
Yeet
One of the best songs ever
Not Pablo Picasso? Hospital is great too.
I'll take the subway
to your suburb
sometime
It gets me every time .
Acabei de assistir Hot Summers Nights e já vim procurar essa musica
Very something - I like it a lot but not too shore why? so creepy but real. His naivety and realism are so polls apart it is scary and true. Thank you Mr Richmond.
Thanks to mate showing me this band in the 80's stoned in his Kombi on our way to surf the Gold Coast.
Jonathan Richman was a flipping genius. Unbelievable. I still can’t listen to Roadrunner without cranking it up and screaming it out.
he still is!
Masterpiece for love and mental health 👀 I'm I love with your eyes
Always liked this song before Hot Summer Nights and had to check out this movie because of the comments. Great fucking movie that fits the song perfect.
I forgot how great this song/writer is.
i hope someone loves me this much some day and wants to know things that were exciting to my little girl mind
lyft was playing this in his car, great taste
Whoa, absolutely fantastic
This makes me want to fall in and out of love again. Makes we wanna love passionatly, gazing into someone's eyes up on a hill somewhere. Makes me wanna feel those emotions again. Makes me wanna smoke a cigarette staring up at the sky after an evening at the pub, drinking one too many after a break up sms. Walk around at night surrounded by city lights.
Damn sounds like you and that other cat need to hang out and smoke a carton while thinking strange thoughts...wtf? lol
Jonathan richman was such a sweetman and discribed the early fucked up early seventies so good, a truely unknown genius
Heard this on Marianne on Netflix and I was surprised at how old this song is
Hard to believe this album is almost fifty years old.
Partly because it has Modern in its name. Partly because it is a work of genius.
How can I not know this?
this is the best 5 minutes in my life
Wowww heard this song first time today. Won’t forget lifetime. Oh God it’s so beautiful touching raw yet so much love and soft. Every woman wants her man to sing / play this for her ❤️🙏🏻.
