@@lindseyabbie7 Well, I did not go. I am sorry I did not. I decided to go to Zion NP, instead and then go the next year to Guadalupe. Unfortunately, they put a moratorium on shark diving, so all bets are off!!!!
I think it's the best place in the world to observe great white shark in clear water. I have a question about "open water certified", without it cannot goes into the drop down cages? And, How do they appear, are they really so impressively? Thanks and really great video 😊
ive got this same trip book for this year. They told me if you give them some footage or if people share footage they will make a video for you. Is that what this is or did you make this?
Thanks! We used the Nikon z7 with the NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4, with the appropriate underwater housing and attachments. Which were the Ikelite (200DL Underwater Housing for Nikon z7). This route is pretty expensive, especially if you do not have a DSLR. We also used a go pro. There are places that you can rent gear from. There are underwater cases for your phone, depending on what kind of camera you have, it is possible to take similar photos with it. Do you have any photography gear now?
@@ioanniskapos6323 Can you organize this trip or where can I be guest, what do mean? Would do it with some more experience. Did some dives with oceanic white tips and will do another safari in Egypt where you can see them. Then would like to do Bahamas where you can dive with Tiger Sharks without cage. But I know there is no commercial offer to do it without cage with White Sharks. But if I could with some experienced guides, I would do it if I had experience with Tiger Sharks before.
If you go from Ensenada it’s around $3000 dollars for a 5 day trip, which includes everything, although it is an 18 hour boat journey there, so 2 of the days are spent travelling, then the other 3 diving with sharks, amongst seeing other wildlife
No, not in Mexico. We flew in a day early and stayed in San Diego. The next day we boarded the bus in San Diego which took us to Ensenada, and then boarded the boat around 10pm the same night.
No, you do not. You can only dive in the surface cages though. To go into the drop down cages you need to be at least open water certified. I highly recommend getting certified, you'll be more comfortable in the water (at least in my own experience).

Shark diving is one of the best way to protect sharks For the first time for a long period, people wants to dive with sharks instead of killing them. Yes it is not as good as it could be ... but much better than classical overfishing ...
Fantastic video. Was thinking of doing this and your video convinced me! Nice job, extremely enjoyable watching.
Love the shots of Birch Aquarium in La Jolla! Use to go there all the time when I lived in San Diego. 👍😊

Hello, they did make a video for us. But it was not this video, I made this video with all of our own footage.
Wow, those photos are gorgeous! I'm going in September of next year. What camera equipment do you use?
And also, do you have any recommendations of how I can take similar pictures on a budget?

For two people, for just the Sharks, not including airfare or hotels, was about $8,000.00.

The choice of music ruins the beauty of the Great White.
Is the boat moving a lot?
Once we anchored, I hardly noticed I was on a boat. The trip out to the island, and back to land is kind of rough though.
