It takes a long time for the big bureaucratic machine to move, even if everyone does agree (and I’m sure some don’t).
A law needs to be passed that forbids schools from taking gifts and donations from foreign individuals and entities -- regardless if they are or aren't graduates. Any school that takes foreign money or gifts should be barred from educating the next generation.

I am shocked that he is shocked. Is there a single university or college in the US or Canada that does not have Israeli Apartheid Week (or two weeks) around Israel Independence Day? Designed by Palestine Solidarity Committee, funded by university money, with "apartheid walls," campuses plastered with anti-Israel (often antisemitic) imagery, antisemitic speakers, the whole nine yards.
I have seen so much of that, and worse, at UC Irvine! And also some at UCLA, USC Fullerton, USC Los Angeles. I have read so many reports of such weeks from all over the US and Canada for the past 30 or so years, I just assumed that every university and college has them. The reports I read don't even concentrate on "innocent" things like “apartheid walls" or antisemitic posters, they write about Jewish students being severely beaten, hit with stones, losing consciousness, broken bones, ending up in hospitals.
How is it possible that he did not know about it? I thought that everyone in the US and Canada knows about it. It has been the norm for the last 30 years or so.
