    I think Yakuza 0 (and the rest of the series) really did change my life for the better and this video made me realize that even more then I did before. I'm surprised just how many life lessons this game teaches you hell I even remember seeing a comment that went along the lines of: "I can't believe my role model is an ex-yakuza" or smth like that.

    The fact that Makoto, like Kiryu, can withstand all the challenges presented by fate has always been an inspiration to me. The fact that she'd come to Dojima alone, for the captains' heads as the price for torturing his brother, was unreasonable, but damn strong. It's telling, as if it shows that she still has the strength to stand up to the damn Yakuza alone.

      It was very brave indeed but we saw what happened to her,if she had prepared better and had a better strategy she could have had a better outcome.

    so true, this game tells you to stop giving up. Like kuze, or dark knight, or something

    Yakuza 0 is a masterpiece in the way it plays with your feelings for the characters. When you begin to play you might begin to hate Awano, Sagawa or you switch between hating and loving like with Kuze or Lee but in the end... they end it off with a bang in a positive sense to make you remember them in a good light. Awano redeemed himself, Sagawa also did. Kuze had also a nice final fight with the afterwards dialogue and Lee really was a rollercoaster of good and bad actions.

      True,I didn't like Awano at first,even when I finished the game,I did not care for him,but after replaying the game in legend mode,I gained massive respect for him

    0:47 this was my favorite out of all of these. Idk why. Something, something, money, or rather wealth, doesn't buy you happiness or whatever.

    Yakuza made me realise just how fun gaming could be. It has a bit of everything and it works because you can pick and choose what you want to do (except the main story). The description of it as like a toy box for adults is spot on.

      I would say Kuze=Tenacity
      Majima=Persistence
      The difference being Tenacity is the drive to keep going back
      Persistence=Actually not letting anything from stopping you.

    Y'know aside from the main story, Yakuza did have some sub-stories that also had a bit of wisdom. While I was playing Kiwami, there was this one sub-story where Kiryu was dealing with a Fortune Telling scammer, told Kiryu that if he buys these glasses made of gem stones his life will change. One of the many lines Kiryu dropped was "Life is full of ups and downs. Trying to avoid the bad parts isn't living."
    That quote hit me in the feels, because it just made me think about how so many people in this world struggle with reality so much that they'd do anything to escape it, and only live the good out of it. There are a few other sub-stories from Yakuza 0 and Kiwami that hit me in the feels equally.

    Aside from all the whacky funny substories Yakuza 0's story is top notch, we saw both sides of kiryu and majima change over time and overcome their problems and fought till the very end without regrets, kiryu went from trying to solo his way through the game to accepting that there's people other than shintaro that still wanna help him no matter how things got tough, majima on the other hand got fed up with being treated like a yes man doing everything to please the Shimano family and made his own way.
