Btw, Malaysia had to cancel grand fireworks at most of gigantic skyscrapers in KL especially at the Petronas Twin Towers during New year celebrations 2024 just to respect people of Palestine..
And they change the colour to white green and red just to remind us the struggle that happened in Palestine.

Sharjah did the same. There were no celebrations in Sharjah.
As Malaysians , we are very protective of 1slam. Yet, we are also very tolerant of others
That very tolerant attitude of Muslims in Malaysian is what causes us to be trampled on.
@hazatoriqiy7743 What do you mean please ?
@@hazatoriqiy7743 That has nothing to do with Islam. People get trampled if they want to be trampled - to get sympathy and popularity or subsidy. There are many successful malays and muslim in Malaysia. So please don't generalise.
@@sultrys2291 yeah.. Have you guys haven't learned anything from the history and current situation what was happened in most Islamic country around the world? Tengok isu stockin dah la berapa puluh tahun bila jadi kes minta maaf, jadi kes minta maaf lepas tu setel. Padahal silap sendiri terlampau Bagi Muka. Kononnya kami berbangga dgn sifat toleransi..
@@anakhamba You are using bits and pieces to generalise. Islam is never a pacifist religion. When people do bad things to you (eg sock issue), you get up and defend. Nobody is against that. But that doesn't warrant an unprovoked attack to other non-muslims who live peacefully with the rest of the Muslims.
As for your examples, put the blame on Muslims parents who failed to educate their children.
Is it the non-muslims' fault for the mat rempit, bohsia, enagih dadah, peminta sedekah? Some of them are "muslims" unfortunately.
Is it the non-muslims fault for the greedy "islamic" or "malay" politicians, rasuah/bribery, laziness, curi tulang waktu bekerja?
Tolerant doesn't mean you have to celebrate their religions or celebrations. Tolerance is letting them practice their own religion without hostility.
Pointing fingers to others for your own failure is an act of hostility. That is just an example of laziness, bad heart, envy/hasad and greed. Islamic ke tu?
* satu sebab mengapa orang bukan melayu tidak mahu masuk islam adalah kerana sikap orang melayu itu sendiri yang menjatuhkan nama baik ugama. Tak perlu salahkan mereka.

this is true! been living here in Abu dhabi for 11yrs now and I can say that we are more islamic in my village in Philippines than the people who were born arabic and muslims. and it is very sad how they are silent about whats happening in Palestine, I know they’re helping in some ways but I dont think thats enough because they can do much more if they wanted. also the ramadhan here we can’t feel it anymore bcoz they removed some restrictions, the expats don’t respect the ramadan like they used to. the only good thing here now is safe. Abu Dhabi is more conservative than Dubai but it's becoming like Dubai😢
Precisely
Malaysia, is a beautiful country with beautiful people. A Muslim from the West who lived and went to school (Int’l Islamic University) in Malaysia and now live and work in the Gulf for 17 years. Insha’Allah, Malaysia remains my second home. May Allah make your time and enjoyable one and decision to make Hijrah to a Muslim a blessing for you all.
One aspects I love about Malaysia (specifically capital city like KL) is ✨dedication✨ to have children friendly spots & it’s free. Like playgrounds & pools for kids in KLCC park & TRX rooftop park.
Yes we love that!
You guys forgot the most important point of all - papparoti buns cost 60 cents in Malaysia vs 5 dollars in Dubai!! And they taste better too!
Pretty sure it was a main decision point
everything you said is true, i am foreigner born in dubai, lived there 25 yrs, i made the move to Malaysia 13 years ago, and everyday i am grateful for the decision, U made the right decision, good luck
Assalamalaikum Saleh Family,
I visited malayasia last year. An incredible country, a rich tapestry of cultural diversity and history. But ultimately a islam first country.
My concern is i have noticed recently a lot of expats doing hijra to malayasia and i hope that they dont try to change the culture and ideology of the malays but to adopt and embrace it and ultimately not take it for granted.
i am (malay)malaysian..i think the same thing..this is what i worry about..
Malays are not a kind of people to easily following others unhealthy cultures bcos of their religion always guarded them frm doing so😊
My concerns exactly. I hope that they embrace our culture.. especially because malaysian tend to be very considerate ppl and sometimes this leads to foreignors (whether they intend to or not) stepping overbounds.
For me, for Malaysia to go forward as succesful Muslim country.. it has to be 'melting pots'.. with Malaysian values.. which in this case is actually Malay values - embrace our culture (I am Malay), food etc etc..
Muslim expats are mostly welcome as they naturally, come together with values (Islamic that is ) that are in synch with most of us here...
@@not_a_channel1371 As a matter of fact, any culture is welcome here as long as there is no influence of lgbt, feminism, hedonism etc (just naming a few).. to be honest, we also have our shortcomings too which hopefully can be *magically* cured.. lol.
Citing the 2023/2024 edition of the State of the Global Islamic Economy (SGIE) report, HDC said Malaysia secured first place in Islamic finance, halal food, and media and recreation, coupled with a commendable second-place ranking in “modest fashion,” third spot in pharmaceuticals and fifth in tourism
so these are matrices that people go by? modest fashion - that's a matrix?
i agree .they had successfully westernizing the dubai..now .its riyadh turn
Yes it’s sad
Riyadh is meh, Rents are on par with Dubai without Dubai infrastructure and facilities try visiting Jeddah. It’s more fun. More traditional, affordable and of course Al Balad historical district is a must visit especially during Ramadan. Makkah is only an hour away.
only oman in the arab region is doing the opposite with it's oil money, they use the money to preserve traditional building
Dubai has very high expats turnover. It has very long and extremely long summer. Very expensive. Dubai is very artificial and doesn't have soul
I would choose Malaysia over and over again.
Living in riyadh for 7 years. Riyadh is a mess it can't become Dubai because it's not designed to be one. Riyadh is becoming unlivable day by day.
Sister/brother, actually here in Msia we have a lot of insects/bugs as we are in the rainforest or tropical region. Maybe you haven't seen them yet 😅. Mosquitoes, cockroaches, lizards, kamitetep, agas, mite etc can be found everywhere actually.
Definitely but we haven’t had any bother us yet lol
Dont worried...installed anti mosqueto and bugs net at doors, window and lourves. There are anti lizard sprayer
Yup, one reason I lived in a high rise apartment here is to get away from cockroaches and bugs and ants and gecko, and I gave rent for my landed houses 😅

Satu Malaysia. Alhumdulilah, I did my graduation in Malaysia ( in KL ) and spent 5 beautiful ( also bitter-sweet ) years of my life. Learnt a lot kiving here. Its pretty diverse. Being a Muslim, the most beautiful thing is to find a Surau ( praying room for Muslims), which is literally available everywhere. Even in the malls ,air ports , schools, apartment complexes , so it makes praying easy Alhumdulilah. Love you Malaysia ❤. Terima Kasih !!
Malaysia currently leads the overall Global Islamic Economic Indicator (GIEI) rankings with respect to the size of the Halal Economy particularly for Islamic finance, halal food, Muslim-friendly travel, and media and recreation sectors
Malaysia is not perfect, but it is the most unique in the world because there are three ethnic Malays, Chinese, and Indians. If you go to Sabah, the majority are Kadazan and Dusun, and Sarawak is Iban and Melanau different from the Peninsular. Because of the need for modernization, many of the younger generation no longer know their culture.
Alternative places that more conservative and Islamic in UAE are Sharjah or even Abu Dhabi and other emirates; Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujeira, Ajman or neighbouring Oman. Dubai basically like a totally different country on its own to cater to westerners and riches only, less than 20% are Emiratis.

klang valley (kuala lumpur and part of selangor) is the best region to live if you value facilities ( hospital, mall, public transport, int school etc). If you want to live in quiet nature environment east malaysia is the place. If you want to live in town near to the beach i would suggest kuantan, pahang. Arabs expat if im not mistaken usually stay at cyberjaya, serdang or nearby bukit bintang. if you want to buy a house it starts from rm1 million (gov policy) or around 220k usd. rental would be around 350usd (condos) - 1200 usd ( golf and country club). medical insurance is a bit tricky to explain. you can check youtubers like andrew taylor who have spoke about this.

The arab عرب countries have this idea that if they copy europe and the US they will have a good country, but they are wrong. Living in Sudan is so nice (before the war), even though the country is underdeveloped, the people make it nice and everything there, there was freedom, we went there on holiday and our whole village is family. Everywhere you go you can have a good conversation with someone. But Allah الله was protecting us, as soon as they said no more islamic law, it became lawless. There is nothing better than Islam. And going against Allah الله is ending your existence.
Im from Malaysia, and i would love to visit Oman and live there, because they are very unique and they do things differently compared to other gulf countries when it comes to modernization economic model..they really maintain their heritage, culture and calm pace and not exactly copy paste westernize cultural...in my perspective i would say they have their own identity...just my 2 cents😅

Something I love about you guys is how you are not afraid to draw your own conclusions about your own life from multiple sources.
You don't just talk to Muslims and let their opinions solely influence you. Though I managed to lived in Dubai 11 years but and I agree with you 100%. The reasons that you mentioned were those that drove me to leave. Now I have my own family with two kids and live in Germany but I wish we could be able to go somewhere else like Malaysia.
Totally agree with you. We moved to Marrakech for reasons similar to why you guys moved to Malaysia but for us the issue is around visa and residency which is a nightmare in Malaysia compared to Morocco. Malaysia is also our top choice and we will be moving there next year. Dubai has it's pros and cons, but the cons outweight the pros for us too. It's clean, super safe in Dubai, and is a breath of fresh air compared to Dubai, but the summer is deathly there, the sheer amount of inappropriate clothing and Ukrainian and Russian women doing 'work' there is also very unnerving. I also felt that it wasn't as 'Islamic' as Dubai has been in the past. It's changed a lot in the last 5 years.
Do not put too high kind of hope toward New live... Every place has the pro and con.. Shukurr is the perfect word's... Do u think so..
Great inputs
If my family moved to Malaysia the starting salary for my child once they had a degree would be around $1500 a month. This is significantly lower than the average salary of other developed countries like the United States, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. For this reason, Malaysia’s one of the most popular outsourcing destinations in Southeast Asia.
Go there if you have wealth.
Salary is lower in USD term but cost of living is also much more lower that the places you metioned above
