If you are looking for an affordable accomodation on this high-priced destination, you should defenitely check out the Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora. There is no better deal around.
Lefthand of the resort is the "Tiare Market", a local supermarket where you can buy everything you need at reasonable prices. Righthand and just a 5 min. walk away is Matira Beach, one of the most impressive places to be.
Check out the diving base "Bora Diving Center" and say Hello to Sarah and Yvan Neault. If you want to explore the underwater world of Bora Bora, this is the place you wanna go.
Otherwise get on a bicycle and ride around the island to visit all the great spots on the only road. Climb up Mt. Otemanu to get a magnificent view over the whole atoll. Grab a kayak and paddle along the inner lagoon or join the island-tour with the funny guys from "Bora Lagoonarium" for a great round-trip on their outrigger-boat, including snorkeling-dives and a polynesian lunch on a local island. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 4 nights in early September 2018 on a 3 island French Polynesia vacation. Had an oceanview room with a great view. Good price for Bora Bora. A very nice hotel on the main island with good affordable food at the beach bar and 2 small grocery stores close buy. Went on a few excursions to a motu and in the water with sting rays and reef sharks.
