Same man 😭Hit a deer at night and bent my bars, plastics, and foot peg and shift lever 💀
@@cameronmattison411 Forgot to take off disc lock like the dummy I am. Ended up dropping the bike when accelerating lol
@@PortableMP3Player This is my nightmare............

@@motomecha530 cool! I'm looking foreward to it👍
Thanks for making this video I have to install a set of pegs. I will definitely be able to approach this job with more knowledge and confidence 👍
Awesome! Doing work yourself and seeing the fruits of your labor is so satisfying. Hope it goes smooth!
Ugh, this is the 2nd time in about a week or 2 that I needed this video 😅 (new rider and am luckily accidentally braking my brothers 1st "crappier looking" bike before I use my 1st (technically 2nd) bike, got both bikes at same time. Been training with his tho and making sure to get replacements/and an upgrade before I give it too him.
Im just gonna make sure I save it this time XD, great tutorial.
Glad it helped! Be careful out there!
But woudlnt the grease just stick grime to it and end up doing more damage in the end?
Maybe a spacer under that E clip would not hurt. Nice vid mate!
Did you add extra weight under your foot rest?
No, that's how they came from Suzuki, to reduce vibration...
What type of grease is recommended here?
Pretty much anything, I used GM wheel bearing grease.
How did you remove the pin that comes stuck under the footpeg I always scrape in the twistys
it should unscrew
@@motomecha530 I tried unscrewing it but I couldn’t get it off it’s on there pretty good 😂😂
I have a 2012 fz8 that i dropped need new but cant figure out how to replace pegs
Hi Mike. I ride a 2018 Z900. Question..... can the foot peg (on the brake side) be lowered or moved at all? It feels like its too high and my right leg gets cramps. The left however if fine.
I don't believe the stock rearsets/pegs are adjustable. Hi Mike . This is about one year later. The RHS and brake pegs go onto a bracket. The bracket is brocken. Do you have a video on how to replace the bracket? Thanks . Billy D'Arcy
Very good. Thx for the recent help w my Drz. Steven Ratner.
Hey Steven! You're very welcome!
From MotoJitsu!
Hell ya! I was inspired by him to put these videos out. Hope it helps!

Motorcycle macanic In your pocket aprcaite. Taking the time to show us
My pleasure! Thanks for watching! Hope it benefited you.
thanks bro
Thanks to you I didn't have to fork out $100 in labour fees. Although it took me a little more time than your video. May I ask what is the red jello you put on? Is it lube or some sort of anti rust? I put on some WD40 to remove the slight squeaky sound.
It's GM bearing grease
@@motomecha530 Thanks! Been wondering what that is.
