Brian hicks has always been fast even when he raced chicago wise guys brian has been the top of his class and on the tree the guy on the mic is no other then mr ron leak rip ron
1/8th mile is a total waste compared to how much it cost to build, race and maintaine these cars.1/4 mile is the official measurement of distance vs time. You won't find the 1/8th mile or 1000 ft in the record books.
Sepsis X That's right. I also hate the TV commercial for street outlaws where big chef or chief or whatever he calls himself claims, "We don't buy horsepower we build it!" That's the biggest bunch of shit I've ever heard! Even though they might build their own engines and car's, they still have to pay BIG bucks for all of the turbo's and other engine modifications, not to mention the chassis and roll cages and all of the other high priced modifications that are built into their cars! The reason you don't see many cars like theirs on the streets is because very few people can afford the kind of parts they buy and install on their cars! I also notice that with the exception of farm truck, they all haul their cars in trailers that cost as much as most normal people can afford to put into their cars!
Ced thegamer No worries man, i was just steaming after watching a butt load of 1/8th races when i was lookin for 1/4mile stuff.....wrong comment on wrong vid at wrong time! LOL
I loved that Hairy Bugger when i was Young, but now i like them clean shaven or just a little hair. My ex wife got me into it...she let me shave it and i was ALL IN! I love them all! '68 Fastback Mustang, '70-'71 Cuda & 1st & 2nd Gen Camaros!!!
Poor Chevy product with the big blower didn't know where the Mopar went
Neither of those cars contains a single original factory drivetrain component...
@@richardharrold9736 so
@@citizendick6087 the point is that Chevy vs Mopar arguments are pointless and irrelevant when their powertrains are 100% aftermarket.
That’s funny Thanks

Basically its easier on parts to run the 1/8th. I myself hate it. 1000ft was implemented for safety reasons.
Exactly!!
Great car, but 1/8th mile, no thanks.
If it ain't a quarter mile, it ain't the real thing.
You can get to 526 cubic inches by either going 4.375 bore and stroke or using 4.44 inch bore and 4.25 inch stroke. I wonder which one he used?
The one in the middle?
Here's betting that all the people on here talking crap about 1/8 mile drag racing have never made any kind of pass on any track...
Hooking up pretty good.
I think that car used to have a 800 or 900 inch mountain motor in it... Awesome car either way, but I am a turbo fan.
Yes i believe it ran the NHRA series
Allen Summerer it’s not a car anymore 😂
Used to be and was built by Dennis Radford
dam monster

Dude he treed the fuck out of that camaro
I have asked a question why 8th mile , the only thing I have been told is to keep them slowed down . Anybody have a better answer?
Yeah I hate 1/8th mile. Supposedly it saves on parts which I get but to me its boring af
I would like to see the timeing

shit, these are Street cars according to discovery channel.
+MrMark1325 Street Outlaws never claimed their cars to be street cars. They say street RACED cars.

YEAH!!!!!
Dam why only 1/8th mile???? Sucks watching 1/8th mile racing but what's worse is watching them run 1/8th mile on a 1/4 mile track!!!!
That's bull!!!!!! They are still pulling at 1320ft.
+Emanuel Landeholm Its got to do with gearing plus 1/8 mile saves on parts.
Nice car but not much Duster left
what is the plate under the front bumper?
Extendo to trip the lights faster or towhook.
A body scooper ?
Bad ass Duster, but 1/8 mile sucks. Take to a real track that races 1/4.
Mopar or No Power
Intress
Meh. 1/8 mile -.-
HONDA N VAG GUYS HATE THIS.
