- In this video, we headed into Malaysia to do a quick Food Tour around JB! Wanted to cover couple more places but sadly some of the stalls are closed by time we got in.

Glad you enjoyed the food in malaysia! Btw, even as a malaysian, that last place is actually really affordable to be honest. In KL, you can hardly find seafood dishes with that portion at that price. Damn, thinking of food, I missed SG hokkien mee already.

Watched a lot of UA-camrs channels on food, this is the only couple who accepts free food, even from the hard workers’ hawker stands.

The last ikan bakar place was opened by one of my family friends (not sure if he still owns it), and I've been eating there for a good decade or more since he started as a one-man standalone push cart-type stall (though not frequently coz need to cross border). The stingray is to die for, SG stingray cannot fight one. next time can also try their mixed veggies cooked in sambal (got things like winged bean and lady's finger), and their 葱油 grilled fish and prawns. Their 葱油 is sublime and so savoury. If I recall, they make it themselves. Great to see that the standard hasn't dropped at all. Looks like it's time for me to make a trip in soon.

this wonton mee looks best ! malaysia wonton mee noodle texture is very good very shiok ! last time i always ate and packeted bring back sg... ; the sambal stingray looks so big portion, big chunk of tender white meat with chilli looks so delicious, sotong looks soooo delicious... ; we like this video and thanks for your recommendations, got chance sure must eat and packet back !

Please go try out Chicken feet noodle at Simpang bedok (Wanton Noodle House - 312 Bedok road). The chicken feet are like drumstick sized and the noodle texture is the BEST i've ever tried in Singapore!

I went there on Thur night and I saw couple of sg car for the last stall. I must say; it’s good. Long q as I went at 550pm, my food came 720pm. Will head back again. Like your recommendation.

Not easy to speak Chinese so often in ur video! CFM ur spice level got improve luhs. Eat the spicy noodles with so many sambal seafood. Like never see u make noise about the spicy and drinking water. You should have go in JB early and try the Kam Long Fish Head Curry further down the street next to City Square. The queue starts about 11am so go there before 11am. It opens at 8am. My friends and I usually will order the big claypot fish head for each one of us. Shiok and Yummy! I have tried the Ikan Bakar stall you mentioned in this UA-cam video. Luckily you didnt order the crayfish which didnt taste fresh at all. I had the Stingray (high;y recommended) too and love the thickness of the meat compared to Singapore which is thinner. I had the sambal sotong fried with stink beans and its good (recommended). Another dish not bad is their Fujian Mian (black version).

How would you compare the chicken cutlet to the one in commonwealth hawker centre (old school style). The grilled seafood is definitely a worth eating as you guys ordered a lot of dishes and the servings look pretty huge. 😁

If wantan mee, next time can try Tien Tien Lai Kopitiam 桃源面家 located at bakawali. I found them being the better one among so many wantan noodles in JB, really like to know how other people find it ~

If you have plans to go JB again, you should go try the claypot chicken rice and hotplate chicken noodle at Taman Pelangi Food Centre. Opens around 5+pm. You can try the pig organ soup there too.
And you should try the 大成loklok also. Best time to visit the loklok place is before 7pm and latest before 9pm. 7to9 it will be super crowded and after 9pm many of the varieties will start to sold out.
