Of course it won't. All you did was force the control into it's Bluetooth mode. You can pair it to any Bluetooth capable computer or phone and use it as a controller.

Hey man mine just randomly disconnects and ive tried everything but it doesnt stay connected more than 10 minutes before it needs to be reset
Maybe try sticking a pen into the reset hole on the back of the controller, and pairing it again

No it won't yous just using it as a normal Bluetooth controller. You could use it on your phone or PC without an adapter this way.

Trust me, it’s not fake, I just got mines yesterday and I hook up my ps5 controller to my ps4 & it actually work.
It's just forcing the controller into bt pairing mode. You could connect it to your phone with the same button combo. You may not even need the adapter if the PS4 lets you use bt controllers.
