I have been watching a lot of videos on minimalism and your channel is my favorite. Not a lot of people wear out/use up the things they own, I really admire you for that. Love from the Philippines!
You literally changed my entire thoughts of life. I really appreciate your efforts and advises. You're One of the best channels on UA-cam . All the best dear 😘 sending loads of love from 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I only own one travel bag/suitcase. I used to have a carry on size, large size and an overnight bag. Now I just have a medium sized backpacking bag that fits as a carry on. I can wear it backpacking in the wilderness or in the city. The bag is an Osprey a lifetime warranty, I just sent it in for repair and they repaired it for me so we can continue to travel together.
I'm continually amazed at how many new ideas you come up with. Many minimalist videos regurgitate the same generic suggestions over and over, but not yours. P.S. Nice sunglasses.
I own one wide toothed comb. One pair of boots. One purse, yet I'm carefully shopping for a new one since the current one is getting frayed. Thanks for you calm, cool, inspiration.
I tried to tell myself that I don't need to "own the right to love so many UA-cam content creators" so I let your channel go, only to find that it is too wonderful to stop learning from! So I'm back:) Sometimes we get too ruthless in our decluttering, letting go of things we find value in, just to own less and in this case, free up more time. But I find that your tips add value to my life, so I will continue to enjoy tuning in!
I am working towards owning only one of many things. To achieve this, I'm trying my best with a no spend year. So far so good. Thanks for the great video and the inspiration!
I am currently on the journey to becoming a minimalist and I own only one journal and one notebook :) Which is suprising because I love notebooks. Btw your channel has helped me so much thankyou!
Me too I love notebooks.❤ i used to get home with a new one every week, but I’m tilting now to a more minimalistic life so I went for digital notes. I only carry around a little notebook and a pen with me when I need to write down thoughts and I don’t have my phone or iPad around. I’m loving seeing my drawers and shelves less crammed.
Hi Vera, I've been going through a hard time in my life, and every time I watch your video, I immediately feel lighter and slightly happier. Thank you so much for being here.
I'm happy to hear my videos have been helpful for you Lucy! Sorry you're going through a tough time. Sending love your way and remember that things will get better 🤗🌺
You are doing such a wonderful job I have slowly been decluttering and becoming a minimalist a little bit at a time it started about 2 years ago and I feel so much better about my life and my wallet feels so much better because I have quit shopping therapy I know longer go to the mall or go to any store to just browse or look around.
I’m a curly girl too and I actually hated the Denmen brush too so I decluttered it! Finding good curly/wavy hair products is so tough I’ve fallen into the trap of buying recommended products and I just find my hair is just not like the average and I have to be careful not to waste my money- same thing with diffusers they don’t work for me! Anyway I loved this video and over the last year you’ve helped me minimize my home and create more space for things that really matter like focusing on my three kids, moving slower and intentionally, having less social media and digital clutter and being more sustainable! Thanks so much for all the great content!
Exactly!! Haha it's great that someone understands! :) I'm so confused about this brush. I decided to stop using heat on my hair, so I'm not even gonna try a diffuser haha, but glad to hear I'm not the only one. I'm so happy to hear my videos have been helpful for you in your minimalism journey!
I never could understand how the Denman works on curls. I bought one to deal with the tangles in my baby fine straight hair. It works great for that. But I just didn’t see how it would work for curls.
Hi Vera since you are also in sustainability.. small tip is microfiber towels are not very environment friendly and it leaks micro and nanoplastic upon every wash.
Hey Vera! I'm not sure if you've found a decent vegan, cruelty free lip balm yet, but I've just checked and my favorite lip balm happens to be both of those things. It's known as Raw Sugar Lip Balm and there are a few scents; my personal favorite is Coconut Mango. It feels lightweight, moisturizing, and I've never noticed any unpleasant traits about it. Hope this helps!
This is what I strive for. I thought I lived kind of minimally until I realized I have several items that serve the same purpose. I'm working on using up my current toiletries, makeup and perfume as well. I stocked up recently due to lower price and everything is skyrocketing.
Wherever possible I have only one of everything but could cut back more. Thanks for your great suggestions and agree with having one pillow. I don't like a bed cluttered with lots of them!
I'm nowhere near only having one of things, but this is definitely inspiring me to try and get there with some categories at least. I'm decluttering and using stuff up, and have a vague "if it breaks I won't replace it" thing going on with things like mugs, but it's a battle against my "oh, but it's still useful" instinct!
Great video Vera🤗 The lotus candle holder is so pretty! And your hair looks absolutley AMAZING! I just love the natural wavy look. My hair is also wavy and I feel I can just let it be and not have to "style" it. Keep the great videos coming.
I'm with you on the swimwear. I had two really nice and well fitting suits that never got worn. I finally admitted they were part of the fantasy vacation that is not happening and let them go. I will re-watch the jewelry declutter video as I now have aquired a bunch from my Mom who had recently passed. Stay safe, we appreciate your posts!
Thanks for sharing Kathleen, I know exactly what you mean with the fantasy vacation. I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom.. Sending love your way. Stay safe and take care!
Kathleen Hill , sorry to hear about your Mom. If you don’t know what to do with your Moms jewelry, there are so many things you can do. I wrap bracelets around my plant containers and hang necklaces around bottles or candlestick holders. My Aunt decorated a small Christmas tree in her Moms jewelry or I have seen inside wreaths decorated with jewelry. People don’t always see when you do that but you do. People are surprised when they actually look around because its not adding one more thing but adding something to what I already have. Take care and be safe out there!
Love seeing these types of videos. Gets me thinking what I could have 1 of. I try to live minimal but not 1 of minimal lol. I have a chapstick in every room. Sorry too lazy to walk to x room to get it lol.
I heard someone say that minimalism is not having too much stuff AND ALSO having enough of what you need where you need it. 🤓 Example would be soap by every sink. Or… chapstick in every room. 🤗
if they have them in your area..the WET brand brush is what I use. I have the one with openings between bristles so that you can use a hair dryer through it.. I usually have unmanageable hair..and it works great!
I only own one husband ;P Haha, actually while watching your video I realised there is more. I own 1 watch, 1 support cushion for my shoulders, 1 kindle, 1 pair of glasses and 1 pair of sun glasses that attach to my glasses, 1 laptop, 1 phone. Things I would love to learn how to declutter but because I looove them, it's hard to know what to do: bags/purses/backpacks. I love these and find it really hard to let go of them. (By the way, I LOVE your pinks backpack and purse!!) Notebooks are another difficult category because I absolutely love notebooks and nail polish is the third thing I find hard to declutter. This video gave me real food for thought and there are some categories I know how to work on now. The three difficult ones will have to wait unless you have some good tips for me... Thank you for the video :D
Thank you for sharing your thoughts Erin Mae! :) I'm happy the video provided some insight for you. About the bags, notebooks and nail polishes, maybe use the numbers tip. Set a goal for a specific number you'd like to own max, and then choose your favorites to match that number. You can also use a space as a restriction. Like one shelf or one small box
I used to buy purses. Lots of them. Too many. About a year ago I started selling them on Poshmark. Still have quite a few for sale and I am actually ready to donate them. Thank you for all the tips and inspiration. I am hoping to someday end up with just a few best purses. Hugs from Chicago 🌱
Thinking on it, I have multiples of just about everything, but fewer of them. Someday I will be able to declutter drastically when the items become unloved clutter. When the time is right, I will act accordingly, but learning and time are the keys to the process. Rushing in before I'm ready will only lead to set-backs, I know. Thanks for being part of the equation.
I love natures aid lip balm! It’s Canadian made, eh! I’ve been using that particular lip balm for years because no other natural lip balm I have tried has kept my lips from getting dry or chapped.
12:03 *whisper* you can even turn the little purse into a wallet to carry in your big bag as needed, and then just snatch it out if you need to go light! Just keep the important everyday stuff in the little one. I use this hack sometimes for little purses like that, especially if the big bag has a handy inner pocket for it 🤩
In order to downsize my perfunes/fragrances, I'm using them up. I live alone and am on lock down but I liberally apply one every day. My home, furniture, and bed have never smelled better! :)
Hurraw lip balms are my all-time favourite. They stay in place, feel moisturising and most of them are lovely flavours. My favourites are unscented and Earl Grey. The citrus ones are lovely too.
I really enjoy watching this type of thing because it helps me validate everything I currently own! Thanks Vera! Why do we need to own multiples of things anyway when the world is so quick in delivering you new products? Also questions the quality and care of the products you have - maybe you keep replacing them because you're not looking after it or it's poorly made? Love how thought provoking this type of video is.
Hi Vera. Great video. Thanks! Re hair. As a fellow curly haired lady, I cannot recommend serum enough. Lip balm: Crazy Rumours, Fruu, Bulldog (yes a male toiletries brand but who cares) and Hurraw. Good luck! X
Hi Vera, I also love that minimalism allows you to change as life changes, so I only have 1 candle right now, 1 bathing suit, 1 comb, 1 brush, 1 journal, 1 eye shadow palette. I no longer have boots or heels or a coat since I live in Florida, I never really need them, I kept my boots & coat for years after I moved here from New York but never used them so I got rid of them this year!
I liked the part about what it looks like for you changes with your life. I'm using up all of my pens and pencils until I switch over to a nice decorative set I can keep refilling.
😁 I'd like to get my purses down to that level. Or at least a solid and a print for different seasons. I did start using my secret compartment in satchels and totes for makeup instead of having the extra bag inside.
Hi Vera! A tip from someone with wavy/curly hair, you don't need a brush. I own one comb (a feather rake comb) to brush my hair after I've washed it and that is it. I don't bring the comb close to my hair once it's dry - I would only brush my fingers through my hair when I get up in the morning. Love your videos.
Thanks so much! :) I think I'll get a wide tooth comb.. right now I brush my hair with a detangling brush when it's wet (in between the steps of rinsing out hairmask and applying condtioner), and I don't brush it again until I wash it again. But still, my hair gets really tangly really fast.. Maybe that's also because I haven't been able to get a haircut in so long haha.
I don't think I own "only one" of anything but I am working my way to significantly reduced the amount of stuff I have. I have done a decent job on clothes and shoes. This year I am focusing on beauty products with the objective of not buying anything until I am out. I have soo many extras of lotion, make up, moiturizer etc etc that I probably won't need to buy a single thing for months. It is working so far and I am enjoying it. I like watching your videos for inspiration, not that I aspire to have only one of anything but to simplify my life in a meaninful way.
When I did a huge declutter I did keep 3 pairs of sunglasses and my extra winter jacket because I get dirty playing with my dog and need a extra jacket and wash my jacket and lose sunglasses but I don't have as much stuff so it doesn't take up as much space
I too only own one yoga mat, backpack, running shoes, laptop and phone. One switch I made a couple months ago is going from using traditional phone cases with plastic to investing in a sustainably-minded phone case from the company Pela. At some point, I might try downsizing my bag collection again. I currently own 12 or 13, and while I do get good or fair use out of them, I feel like I can get away with owning 1 or 2 less. PS: I've been using the Function of Beauty hair products for at least two days, so while I don't have a solid opinion of them yet, I do like how it doesn't weigh down my hair, which is already thick on its own. Perhaps after a full week I'll have a better idea for if it's worth the money or not. I chose the light rose scent and I love how that scent stays in my hair a lot longer than my older products! :D
Hi Amy! Yes I actually looked at a sustainable phone case too, they're also so pretty!! I couldn't find a place to buy them here in the Netherlands though, and I wasn't sure if having them shipped overseas wouldn't offset the sustainability part. It's difficult to know what the right choice is sometimes. In the end, I think just buying 1 and using it for years and years instead of continuing to buy new ones helps in itself. :) Yes I know what you mean about the Function of beauty! The smell lasts so long, it's incredible. and I also like that it doesn't weigh down my hair. The wavy hair shampoo's main ingredient is rice, and I've heard that's really healthy, so I'm still very excited.
I’m currently trying to minimize and live more simple. I do love the pink bag you only have one of and would love to know the brand. It’s perfect for what I need and can’t find one like it. Thank you. I love your videos and look forward to each week. I have also went back and watched the older ones.
I had 2 yoga mats as well. I gave away one a few months ago to a friend because I have a special pad to put my knees on. I have 1 tv, and it's in my living room.
I love you channel. I'm a minimalist and I'm learning English..so...I really like the way you talk (so clear and calm), I can understand almost every thing :))) ...I'm learning a lot with your channel. Thanks!!!
I just wanted to add a little side note to the blanket topic. I'm a knitter, and I know many vegans don't use wool. I think it's important to know, though, that shearing sheep is extremely important, otherwise, they would suffer more easily from bacterial infections, which can be dangerous for them. If the shearing process is done correctly, the sheep doesn't suffer. Clearly, I'm not talking about the mulesing process (which is deprecable), nor about intensive animal farming. The topic is huge and I'm not here to preach, nor convince anyone. I just wanted to give a different point of view about the material, which, if sourced and chosen consciously, can be a precious resource. This video is really inspiring :)
I also only have one of vase, bathing suit, boots, foundation, blush, mascara, water bottle, workout shoes, shampoo, conditioner. I need to declutter my scarves and jackets.
素敵なビデオですね🌱 Thanks for your new video. I enjoyed it a lot :) Since I was living in Northern Europe for a year, I miss design or interior there. Your room looks lovely, I’d like to organize my room after watching your videos haha
I really enjoy your videos Vera. I always get tempted to buy more notebooks and good thing I watched this and decided to just keep one note which is my bullet journal. Love lots Xx
Really great video with a great perspective on the amount of multiples we own of the same thing. Very succinctly put forward too. Hope you have a great week and Best wishes and stay safe and well to you and your family
I have a hard time of what to do with all the stuff. I’d like a video categorizing how to get rid of stuff. Where does the stuff go? What is OK to throw in the trash?
Thanks for another great vid, Vera 💛 Agree with you about the simple curly hair routine. You'll soon find that it really doesn't have to be complicated - just wash, apply 1-2 products and there you go 😄
Yes EXACTLY! :) I've come to a point where I just wash, hang upside down, scrunch 2 products to dripping wet hair, plop it in a towel for 20 minutes and airdry. Any time I've added steps to this routine, it came out weird haha
Hey Vera, thanks for your work, I really enjoy it a lot. I wanted to share a recent discovery regarding lip balm. I don't have one any more because I use the same oil I use for my face (jojoba)! I put it in the morning and the evening during my face cleaning /hydrating routine, and don't need to put any during the day. I drink a lot of water (this helps). So no need for lip balm anymore, but still have a great way to replace it without buying one. Hope this works for you or someone in your community. Have a nice day!
I live in Canada. I own 4 pairs of boots based on temperature and snow level from ankle to knee. I would love to live somewhere where I need 4 bathing suits! Lol. ❤️ from 🇨🇦
We are a South African family and public transport is not easily accessible. We used to own to cars (small hatchbacks) and have recently traded these in on one family car that comfortably meets the needs of my family of 6. I also only own one small wallet (in South Africa we call it a purse) and one backpack. Since watching your video last year, I have also decluttered down to one vase, one pair of boots (we only have 4 months of winter anyway), one winter coat and now on a plight to reduce the number of bottles of perfume that I have. Thanks for the videos, keep them coming : )
Hi. Vera.. Very good.. How is patient now..? Hope all is well.. God bless you. Again very deeply explained about decluttering process... You are totally dived in... MINIMALISM 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi Vera, before you go ahead and declutter the Denman brush please look into it! The Denman is used in a special way in wet hair, yes the only brush you should use on wet hair. Also, slide the head of the brush off and you can remove every second row of bristles. It's worth the time and effort honestly. I have been following the curly girl method for 4 years now which is so gentle and nurturing to all, from loose waves to those with tight curls. Your hair is beautiful by the way!
Hi Susan, thank you so much! I've watched several videos about the brush so far. I use it on wet hair, and I also already removed every second row of bristles. It did make it a bit more gentle, but it still pulls out my hair somehow. Also, when I see people use the brush, the strand of hair they used it on kind of spring up into a curl. In my case, nothing like that happens, it just falls down flat 🙄 But I'll keep trying and looking up information
It's interesting to know about what others own only one of. It was a little challenging for me to think of what I own only 1 of (and it made me guilty bec. I realized I was far from my goal of being a minimalist) 😢. Anyway, I only have 1 earphones, I'll work on my other personal stuff. Thanks Vera! 🥰
I was given a Vera Bradley ID holder/change purse a few years ago. I've found a couple for $9 on Amazon and I might splurge. They are compact and hold my cards and cash no problem.
Hello new to your channel. I'm not new to minimalism oh, I just called his poverty LOL. That doesn't mean I didn't have a lot of clutter. I have a funny story when my partner moved in 14 years ago he couldn't believe that I only had one spoon.. I left alone, so I told him I didn't need more than one. But he, was brought up in a family of excess stuff. The only thing I would change about your having one of everything would be the notebook. I'm a writer and I need multiple notebooks for different things. One for my writing, one for my UA-cam channel that I started on my 70th birthday by the way and 1 just because I like them. Enjoying your channel aloha
Thank you for your wonderful videos, I enjoy them quite a bit and find them relaxing and inspiring. Solid coconut oil can be a good lip balm. I have curly/wavy hair as well and usually wash my hair with conditioner only, which will give you a more defined curl. Yes, get rid of that brush, that only destroys your waves and curls!
@@SimpleHappyZen I also have long wavy, curly hair and I've found that a natural boar's bristle brush works for detangling right after "washing" with conditioner only. Hmmm...that may not be vegan, so try an extremely wide toothed comb for detangling very wet hair, as it won't separate the curls much. Good luck on your natural hair journey!
Lovely video. I just got some noise cancelling headphones too. There great. Just wondering if you use any gel or cream or products in your hair. It looks great. I have wavey curly hair too and you are motivating me to embrace it more again. I too am in search of the best products. Have a lovely weekend.
Regarding perfume you might consider purchasing from one of the subscription services where you purchase a smaller size decant instead of a full bottle. You can start and stop at any time. There are tons of choices available.
Ciao Vera! I've been watching your videos lately (well, mainly listening) and i love how you explain your personal points of view in having or not having items. Although I'm quite an opposite, I've started to eliminate things i don't use and never will. Quite a lot of stuff went to charity 😊 but I'm still ok with 5 sunglasses and 15 bikinis i owe 😂 cause i live by the sea, i love them and i use them
Great video as always, Vera! :) And thanks for the brush tip, I just started my wavy hair journey and was thinking of buying it. Your hair looks amazing, your appearance transformed completely! ps. I got rid of my straightener this week too ♡
I love these kind of videos. I stopped wearing perfume years ago because of my allergies and I don’t own a swimsuit either. I realized I actually never go swimming. Just want to say you look radiant. ❤️
You can turn off the blue light on your computer, phone, tablet and e-reader. That's what I have done. I do wear glasses but I have the clip on sunglasses so technically I still only one 1 set LOL. Only 1 watch. Swimsuit I have only owned 2 in the last 23 years. I currently have 1 that is my lake suit.
I'd still keep both the yoga mats. I know you haven't used the other one in long but just in case. It's so difficult with "just in case" items. Loved the video as always :)
Haha yes the Just in case items! :) Actually for that shot I put them on top of each other, and that made me think that might actually be nice to do. It'll be even thicker then haha. So I'll try that. If that doesn't work for me, I'll give it away
Bikinis are one thing I allow myself to collect! However, I live in Southern California and we have a pool, so I wear them everyday 6 months of the year. They are so small and all fit in a mid sized drawer so I’m ok with that. I love the brand Fused Hawaii as they are very body positive, huge range of sizes xxs-6x with so many adorable patterns, they stay put for active water play/sports and they are handmade!
You have a lovely home , and certainly it has more contents that i own i don't have noise cancelling headphones and i saw you have two laptops, i don't have any of those things, so that makes ne an absolute minimilist i must be!
Wow Vera! I'm literally debating on donating my old thin yoga mat & carrier because my husband and I just purchased new thick ones; we recently converted from carpet to hardwood floors. Oh~ and I love those headphones, don't ever feel reluctant to upgrade if it makes life better for you 😃
Thanks so much Sheila! And yes those thicker mats really make such a difference, especially on a hard floor! With the thinner one, I constantly have to double up on the mat, otherwise my knees hurt haha
I am feeling inspired to declutter my winter accessories and kitchen utensils after watching this video! I wonder if they ship to the Netherlands but Pela phone cases have a zero waste vegan line call habitat they sell lip balm. You can also find a couple on Etsy as well!
Happy to hear the video inspired you! :) And thanks for the tip. I've heard about Pela but I didn't know they had a zero waste vegan line! I'll check them out

We own one of a few similar things 😄 I decluttered duplicates I had like sunglasses and I don’t miss them at all. Enjoyed watching 💛
Happy you enjoyed it, thanks Mariela! 😄✌
Your video made the difference in my life. ✨ LESS IS MORE!✨ For us to have more time to enjoy the life and to our planet. 🌎 Hi from Brazil 🇧🇷
Thank you so much Erica! :)
This is what I strive for. I thought I lived kind of minimally until I realized I have several items that serve the same purpose. I'm working on using up my current toiletries, makeup and perfume as well. I stocked up recently due to lower price and everything is skyrocketing.
Thanks for sharing Emily, wishing you all the best with these goals!
Wherever possible I have only one of everything but could cut back more. Thanks for your great suggestions and agree with having one pillow. I don't like a bed cluttered with lots of them!
Thanks Jo, have a nice day!
🌻Great video as always. So refreshing to see content like yours amidst so many youtubers that constantly advertise and promote mindless shopping.
Thank you so much! 🤗
Haha I love it! Thanks for sharing Caroline and good luck on your minimalism journey! :)
Great video Vera🤗
The lotus candle holder is so pretty! And your hair looks absolutley AMAZING! I just love the natural wavy look. My hair is also wavy and I feel I can just let it be and not have to "style" it. Keep the great videos coming.
Thanks so much Sandi! :) Yes it's so nice not to have to 'style' your hair and just letting it airdry haha. Have a lovely day!
Hi Vera! So inspiring, thanks, and by the way, your hair with waves is great!
Thanks so much Caroline 🤗⚘
Interesting content & how it can apply to our lives...thamks, Vera! 😁❤️
Wonderful video really enjoyed watching it. Thanks
Love seeing these types of videos. Gets me thinking what I could have 1 of. I try to live minimal but not 1 of minimal lol. I have a chapstick in every room. Sorry too lazy to walk to x room to get it lol.
Hahaha no need to apologize 😄 Do what works for you
I heard someone say that minimalism is not having too much stuff AND ALSO having enough of what you need where you need it.
I love your personality! 😁 And of course, great video! So much inspiration to declutter
Aw thank you so much Gabi ⚘💖
Yes I'm the same way, feel free to take your time and follow your gut instinct :)
This was an enjoyable watch. I’m working on scaling down throw blankets and mugs down to one.
Thank you Nora, glad you enjoyed it :) Good luck with scaling down!
I use this hack sometimes for little purses like that, especially if the big bag has a handy inner pocket for it 🤩
I ADORE you and all your videos - such good advice and energy!😊💕PS: Your hair looks amazing!💖 Hugs from Norway😊
Aw thank you so much, that's so sweet! 🤗🌺💖
In order to downsize my perfunes/fragrances, I'm using them up. I live alone and am on lock down but I liberally apply one every day. My home, furniture, and bed have never smelled better! :)
Haha lovely! 🤗
Hurraw lip balms are my all-time favourite. They stay in place, feel moisturising and most of them are lovely flavours. My favourites are unscented and Earl Grey. The citrus ones are lovely too.
Wow Earl Grey lip balm? That sounds yummy :) I'll check them out. I find that a lot of these brands aren't available here in the Netherlands...
Your new Aviator glasses looks really nice on you. Be safe and great 😊
Aw thank you! :) You too
I really enjoy watching this type of thing because it helps me validate everything I currently own! Thanks Vera! Why do we need to own multiples of things anyway when the world is so quick in delivering you new products? Also questions the quality and care of the products you have - maybe you keep replacing them because you're not looking after it or it's poorly made? Love how thought provoking this type of video is.
I find my wallet is important and have downsized to a small lightweight one .. i love it and it made me declutter the content i cart around with me 🤣
Your natural look is awesome. So pretty 😊❤️
Thank you Sina 💕💕💕
Thank you for sharing this video today, the timing is amazing. I have one perfume. And I am working on decluttering my stuff.
You're very welcome, glad the timing worked out well! :) Good luck with decluttering!
Thank you! :) An that sounds wonderful
😁 I'd like to get my purses down to that level. Or at least a solid and a print for different seasons. I did start using my secret compartment in satchels and totes for makeup instead of having the extra bag inside.
Love the vase❣️🌹
Thanks so much for sharing Susana! Good luck on your no-buy for cosmetics and beauty products!
When I did a huge declutter I did keep 3 pairs of sunglasses and my extra winter jacket because I get dirty playing with my dog and need a extra jacket and wash my jacket and lose sunglasses but I don't have as much stuff so it doesn't take up as much space
Thanks for sharing Megan, have an awesome day!
Yes owning what you need is the best thing to do less stress and no desire
Yes I know what you mean about the Function of beauty!
Love this content! 💜 Thankfully it is my habit to use up whatever i have before buying new ones. Nevertheless thank you for sharing your tips Vera..
Thanks so much Ann :)
素敵なビデオですね🌱
Thanks for your new video.
I enjoyed it a lot :) Since I was living in Northern Europe for a year, I miss design or interior there.
Your room looks lovely, I’d like to organize my room after watching your videos haha
コメントを残してくれてありがとう!ビデオをたのしんだのこと嬉しい。
I really enjoy your videos Vera. I always get tempted to buy more notebooks and good thing I watched this and decided to just keep one note which is my bullet journal. Love lots Xx
So glad you enjoyed the video! :) Have a nice weekend
I couldn't own one pen because you know....pen thieves.
😂
You got that right!
People always need a pen so I always have extras. I tell them to keep it. They always return it.
😂😂
Really great video with a great perspective on the amount of multiples we own of the same thing. Very succinctly put forward too. Hope you have a great week and Best wishes and stay safe and well to you and your family
Thank you so much for your kind comment! :) I appreciate that. Have a lovely day and take care!
I have a hard time of what to do with all the stuff. I’d like a video categorizing how to get rid of stuff. Where does the stuff go? What is OK to throw in the trash?
I totally get it! :) I do talk a bit about that near the end of this video: ua-cam.com/video/DDpcRFaXCSI/v-deo.html
Thanks for another great vid, Vera 💛
Agree with you about the simple curly hair routine.
Sounds like you've already got your own routine down and your hair looks gorgeous! 👏😄👏🎉😄💛
Lol. ❤️ from 🇨🇦
Haha yes I can imagine it wouldn't work over there with just one pair of boots
Same- winter coats, too. One for when it’s crazy cold, one for when it’s just below freezing, etc.
Thank you so much for your kind comment again! :) She's doing well, we're all very grateful and relieved. Have a Happy Wednesday!
@@SimpleHappyZen your hair is lovely without it anyway!
Hi Paul! No need for guilt :) Minimalism is supposed to support us in our happiness and not weigh us down :) Have a lovely day!
I'd love to see a minimalist wavy hair care video.
Thanks for the suggestion! :) Maybe I'll make it one day. First I need to have my routine down
I was given a Vera Bradley ID holder/change purse a few years ago. I've found a couple for $9 on Amazon and I might splurge. They are compact and hold my cards and cash no problem.
I absolutely love your content! 👍 well done
Thank you so much! :)
Your voice alone is zen to my ears. Keep doing this kind of videos
Thank you Carl :)
You look really cool with your sunglasses! :)
Aw thanks Helena! :)
Just found you.while listening to "things I only own one of" I thought of 2 things I wanted to add to my donation bag.
Thanks for sharing!! :) Yes this brush is so weird.... I already tried taking out every other row, but it still pulls out my hair
Thanks Mary! :) I currently use 2 products in my hair, both are from Bounce Curl. I use the gel cream and the Clump and define cream.
Regarding perfume you might consider purchasing from one of the subscription services where you purchase a smaller size decant instead of a full bottle. You can start and stop at any time. There are tons of choices available.
Thanks for the tip Diane! 😊 If I do want to buy perfume in the future, I think I'll look for one from a brand that's sustainably minded
Your hair looks amazing, your appearance transformed completely! ps. I got rid of my straightener this week too ♡
Aw thank you!! 😄 And congrats on getting rid of your straightener! Feels great right? 😎
@@SimpleHappyZen Yes! Letting go of the pressure of straightening my untameable hair is very deliberating!!♡
I love these kind of videos. I stopped wearing perfume years ago because of my allergies and I don’t own a swimsuit either. I realized I actually never go swimming. Just want to say you look radiant. ❤️
Aw thank you Tina 🎀💖 Have a great day!
That candle holder is beautiful :)
Isn't it 💕😄 I'll never get rid of that one
This is really amazing and inspiring at the same time! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Carmen! :)
I think a few watches is ok.... and perfumes. They don't take up much space and it gives you some variety. You are so disciplined.
Sure, if they bring you joy, definitely keep them! :)
Loved the video Vera and I recommend Aveda lip balm they are cruelty free.
Thanks so much Lynby! I'll check it out
I'd still keep both the yoga mats.
I have the same incense holder. I love it ❤ I have had mine for well over ten years.
Ah that's so cool! I love the way they smell after using them for a long time haha
Wow that sounds wonderful, being able to swim in your own pool :) I wonder if I even remember how to swim hahaha (just kidding).
I'll check them out
love the glases! =)
Thanks Henrik!! 🤗 I'm really happy with them
