It's crazy just how bad the Browns have been as an institution at picking QBs. It genuinely is hard to get a top QB, but it feels like they have actively tried to avoid doing so. When you look at Chicago, another cursed franchise, at least they look like they are TRYING at QB. A big trade to get Cutler, trading up to draft Tribiski, trading up to get Fields. And none of these were huge successes but these are guys who at least start for a few years. When the Browns are in the same situation, they take Manziel and Hoyer, outrageous choices that were clearly doomed to fail. Even going after Watson; where they give up too much and overpay him; it's just... No, Browns. No. That's not a good idea. I genuinely think the only sensible move they have made in decades is when they drafted Colt McCoy in the third round, and he was unexciting but somewhat competent. McCoy is stayed in the league until last year, by the way. He played meaningful snaps in Arizona. How many other Browns QBs were even still backups?
Was watching the dynasty documentary and realized something. Belichick benched kosar and it led to turmoil for the qb position for the browns till, well i guess joe flacco. He benched bledsoe and it led to the Patriots dynasty. An eye for an eye.

@@G_54-GMGTrue but the browns are also a cursed franchise as Baker was cooking on the Bucks.
This is where the team didn’t save Baker from himself. Football players are going to want to play, period. Where it’s his non-throwing shoulder, ok, give Baker 2-3 games to see if he can still go. After a few weeks though, it’s obvious he’s not the same player and the team needs to step in and say “Thanks Bake, but you’re not the same player with only one arm. You’re done, go get surgery.”
@@G_54-GMG his mechanics weren’t that screwed up. He was still able to throw and insisted on doing it. He’d have a few inaccurate passes here and there, but most of his issues came from playing outside of Stefanski’s system. Getting baited easily by robber, being late to reads, etc. Quincy Carrier did a film review of him that points this out.
I BEEN WAITING ALL DAY FOR THIS TO DROP PAPA FROG THANK YOU
I'd have to say this video rivals "Days of Our Steelers" as the best long football documentary I've seen on UA-cam.
I've been checking this channel day in and day out for weeks, and finally... A NEW UPLOAD! ❤❤
In 2016, duke Johnson, while actively holding the football, gave up a fumble because the refs gave a phantom fumble recovery to the Washington [redscted].
yeah ppl just enjoy dogging them, they fail to mention them openly being screwed year after year after year. the NFL comes out with an average of 6 stories a season about how wrong calls were made against the Browns and literally cost them the game.
As a Browns fan, I feel like I've seen us leading against the Steelers at halftime many, many times. And it's depressing how few of those games we ended up winning.
They had a franchise qb in baker but made another terrible decision and traded him for deshaun watson. Now baker is winning more playoff games for a differnt city, and winning pro bowl mvps. And deshaun hasnt done squat in cleveland. Smh
There there there...
I was mid-drink when hearing the Ray Lewis joke, spit it out involuntarily and choked with uncontrollable laughter
As an outsider that Deshaun Watson trade is still baffles me
Baker Mayfield was a decent QB with a bad season and the Browns chucked him aside because they dont know what a starting QB, even if they arent the best, is worth
Agreed, and what surprised me most was that a lot of the fans seemed happy with the move at the time. Oooof
@@ROMBomb001baker was very polarizing some people loved him and others hated him both for good reason.
The problem with baker is that although he is an average to slightly below average QB (if you just average his years together) he has these peaks and valleys
2019, 2021,2022 he was objectively a bottom 5 QB in the sport
2020 and 2023 he was 10-12. 2018 he was about 12-15.
And also regardless of good coaching or good players around him he will still have these issues. He’s just so inconsistent that the browns didn’t feel his highs were good enough to justify the lows and tbh I agree considering we’re not looking to just be a playoff team and maybe win a game… we wanna try and win a chip and even at bakers peak I don’t think he will be able to do that (look at 2020)
I'm thankful that Baker Mayfield is thriving in Tampa
Don't matter who the Browns field out there, they immediately become a two pack of ass
Does the name of Otto Graham bring up any strong feelings? In 1945-1955, he played in 10 seasons with winning 7 championships in 3 different leagues. Graham is one of the most consistent and clutch quarterbacks in history of the NFL since 1920. I’m a Steelers fan, Otto Graham is a QB that I still remember. I’m only 39 and born in 1985.
I have to say, I will always respect Hue Jackson for doing the plunge liked he promised
Every time the Baltimore ravens were said it caught me off guard lol I should be expecting it but every freaking time. You did a killer job with that!
Kellen Winslow gave off more Aaron Hernandez vibes then Aaron Hernandez
This is so fricking good, youve profected your art, thank you for entertaining us for free!!!!
As a browns fan I can confidently say that depression no longer affects me.
Depression HATES This One Trick…
1:06:35 btw...that 2nd ravens superbowl was the season art modell passed away, the Baltimore jerseys had an "art" conmemorative circle sewed in
So...in the year browns fans could finally say "good riddance" so such a maligned person...the team he ripped away from them gets to send him off with a super bowl win...
I think I actually creid after the couldn't resist the Kokinis line. Great vid
Don't listen to these heathens. This is peak content and I don't mind the longer vids. Great stuff.
"What's so good about Cleveland?"
LEAVING 😂
I don’t know if I have seen a video by you that doesn’t feature 28-3 at any point in it. It’s amazing. 😂
Bernie Kosar was a franchise quarterback.
6:53 he says Ravens brought in O.J. Simpson???
I snapped at the same shit
How many other Browns QBs were even still backups?
u a top youtuber not even just in the sports world u do fantastic recaps of 20 years of time it’s impressive stuff
Was watching the dynasty documentary and realized something. Belichick benched kosar and it led to turmoil for the qb position for the browns till, well i guess joe flacco. He benched bledsoe and it led to the Patriots dynasty. An eye for an eye.
Baker was and is good too but we screwed that up
i'm surprised you didnt mention Peyton Hillis and that weird one year wonder season he had, or maybe i missed it 😂😂 Ik it's a qb video but still.
“And OJ Simpson” lmao
God damn a 2 hour vid lesssss goooooo. You are by far the hardest working football youtuber by far. Idk anyone making videos this long that are good every minute too. It’s easy to make something long but not good for 2 hours👏
Hot take, but Hue Jackson's winless-ness wasn't entirely his fault. He had some catastrophic luck with special teams and injuries.
Woke up with a hangover to see this on my feed.
Worth it.
Big Ben was at one point holding the most wins in the Browns stadium for like a year and a half. Thats how bad the browns qb situation was during this time
What is it with that stadium and rapey quarterbacks? 😂
Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes currently have the most wins of any HC/QB combination at Allegient Stadium.
6:52 OJ SIMPSON is crazy
im mean one got away frm murder and the other kill bc his wife cheated on him but put aside both hof
Just a missing white suit
But smart enough to hire the best lawyers money 🤑 could buy, and then stiff the best one. (Cochran)
That was wild. It took a second for me to get it. That was some savagery. Well played sir, well played.
@@ryane5483 same
Wow dude even as a Steelers fan I feel bad for Bentley, dude just wanted to play for his hometown team that series of events is absolutely insane
Otto Graham was 107-17-5 as a starter for the Browns, and won 7 titles.. lol..
Trust me, people, in 50 years they won’t know how to slice bread!.. Smh..
Bernie Kosar exists too, though he wasn't a great by any stretch
Gosh I've really spent 10 years rooting for the Browns already. I was just Browns curious at first but that Ravens field goal block loss was what cemented me as a Browns fan. Even now as I wish no success for Deshaun Watson I still root for the Browns
As a browns fan I hate deshaun Watson so much
As a Texan fan, I really appreciate you guys
@@stebo5562 we appreciate you too. You hired incompetent ass ppl, which led to failures and your supremely talented QB who was just entering his prime, requesting a trade because he no longer wanted to play for a lying ass owner
This was the fastest 2 hours ever, great documentary man!!
As a Toledo native that thinks Cleveland is a cesspool...it's really interesting how popular Cleveland sports teams are compared to Cincinnati.
Like I've seen so many Browns and Indians jerseys growing up, but NEVER see any repping yhe Bengals or Reds.
I’m surprised you didn’t see more Detroit jerseys. Detroit is a shorter drive than either Cincy or Cleveland.
Cincinnati is only about 20 minutes closer to Toledo than Chicago. That’s the biggest factor.
That and for the better part of the last 25 years, the Reds have been ass. 😂
@@zlinedavidMore than anything I saw Wolverines and Red Wings gear since they actually sell that stuff in Walmart and other sport stores alongside OSU stuff.
I actually moved back to Toledo recently and not much has changed. Even with the Bengals being good, I still see way more Browns shirts.
I've been a browns fan since I was born in 2001. My grandfather, father, and I all despised Art Modell.
but the funny thing is...we all hate a different team the most. my grandfather hated the bengals due to their creation removing browns games broadcasting from the area he lived. My dad hates the steelers for a multitude of reasons. I hate the ravens, reasons why can be seen clear as day in this video.
Bottlegate is the perfect example of browns getting screwed.
biggest dissapointment I had with the browns wasn't the 1-15 season, or the 0-16 season. It was getting rid of baker mayfield.
great video BTW, perfect showing of despair vs hope
to end this comment, I'll say I'm hopeful for the browns. we're getting somewhere. Where that is IDK, but I feel it'll be good.
If there's one thing that never changes with browns fans...it's that we have that dawg in us.
Until Watson is gone, I hope the browns accomplish nothing
And if they do with Watson, what are gonna say?
@@IllMatic97 I see you in the comments defending Watson, so I’m not gonna say anything to you weirdo
Okay racist
@@kjsdpgijnThis has nothing to do with racism. It's about Deshaun Watson being another Ben Rothlisberger.
You don't need to hope.
Great video. Not a browns fan but loved how you did this. Would love to see one on the titans but I know that wouldn't be popular.
The fact that they got rid of baker Mayfield after he brought more success to the franchise then they'd seen in years and signed Watson, surrounded by controversy and gave him a massive contract for Joe Flacco to come in and do more for them off the couch then Watson has is the most Brown's story ever 😂
For real I was so happy that Deshaun Watson was terrible. Also, it made me even more happy that Baker Mayfield found success on a team that has way less talent than the Browns
I love this long form content. I can put it on the TV and relax. Keep it up!
Lol great one
Ever heard of Ed Reed 😂😂

This is better then Wikipedia and very entertaining with your channel. If I had to read this all of this info it would have put me to sleep, love the effort awesome work ❤😊

The Browns game vs the Bills at 42:24 that they lost 37-7 I was born on that very day I kid you not
As a Lions fan, blowing a 24-7 lead in the playoffs sounds familiar…
Lions are never going to the playoffs again. Enjoy while it lasted
@@gunnercade7728 I really hope this isn’t a Browns fan talking because that would be sad
@@baseballsoffury642Detroit sports overall sucks
@@marquanmr not really. We have been better lately. Lions will be better for the next few years because of our new ownership
@@baseballsoffury642 tigers suck, pistons terrible, lions pretty good. But for the better part of the last decade, all Detroit teams been terrible.
Nice! A two-hour TubFrog video about footballing sadness! A pleasant surprise on my sick day today. Seriously. I will alleviate my own headache today by indulging in Browns fans’ perpetual headache.
*Update* it didn’t work, because I couldn’t help myself from feeling sorry for them. For those poor young men, the Browns. The broken Browns 😢
Need to update this
It just keeps getting worse for them😭
The 28-3 jumpscare at 1:19:17 had me on the floor.
Every Browns fan remembers every name 😭🤣
Lmao I was just thinking that. I remember every single one of these guys. Watched all of them play too. I was at almost every home game from 1999 - 2002. I still have season tickets but I don't go to all the games anymore.
Oh man, you need a mid-season update to this. Well done.
Even with Deshaun Watson under centre the QB carousel will continue for the Browns.
Lop go play madden
Tubfrog the only one who can put out hr vids and keep my attention. Keep doing you homie
After week 1 of the 24-25 season Watson does suck and picked up yet another SA lawsuit.
This was a great video. You have a great way of putting this information together.
I was a browns fan before Deshaun Watson was signed. It pains me to see how well baker played and how good the browns team is. They keep baker and I think this past season would’ve been great
Baker only plays well every other year in case you haven't noticed the pattern
Baker never plays well under expectations. People thought the Bucs were gonna be in the Caleb Williams race, so on cue, he had a decent season.
@@christiancorley4309 exactly 💯 this
@@christiancorley4309I mean he had that game with the Rams where he punked the Raiders after he just signed with the team 48 hours before
@@jojijoestar7233 yes, 1 game, on a bad team, vs a bad team. Notice how people always point to that rams game, but never mention any of the 5 games he played after that. Also, nobody mentions how he was so bad with the panthers, that they released him mid-season. PJ Walker and Sam Darnold arguably played better.
He’s fun to watch and to root for, absolutely. But he was not worth extending. Hes never gonna win a SB unless he’s the backup on a team that does. He’s too inconsistent. Since the Bucs are expecting to go farther this season, what they should expect is 8-9 or another 9-8 season with disappointing results.
Im loving these longer videos bro. Keep it up
Please bro ... no more f this stupidity!
They deserve a renewed curse for giving Watson all that money
Underrated channel fr
Peyton hillis not being mentioned is crazy but this is still great
When this many QBs fail, you KNOW it isn't the QB... It's the ineptitude around him making it nearly impossible to succeed. Baker is in the process of making that abundantly clear.
Otto Graham was a franchise QB
