on the subject of making your own coconut milk...I tried your method and it is pretty simple, but I found a simpler method that is slightly cheaper - buy a can of organic coconut milk (with no additives) and add 1 cup of the canned milk to a container and 2 cups of water. Done!
I have found if I use really good vanilla extract I can leave out truvia or sweetener in tea or coffee. I push my IF on Fridays from 16/8 to 19 or 20/8 allows me for a great cheat meal and NO change on scale! 🙋🏼♀️👍🏼
Loving the new tech! I like to just multitask while listening to your videos because I can listen and so stuff at the same time because I'm an auditory learner. BUT sometimes I do like to sit down and watch videos and the visual effect makes it fun!
I need to stop snacking. Some days I do better than others, but I should be able to stop because it's more distraction than hunger. I also need to think about tracking my steps to increase them. I walk about 1 hr or more in the evening, but I can add some throughout the day.
@@AutumnBates I have enjoyed all your recipes and really enjoyed your program. I have skin acne and hormones are wild into perimenopause so this program is working. I have seen increase of energy and sleep is great for me, skin has been looking better too.
Highly recommend Garmin Vivoactive 4S. I used to have Fitbit Charge 2 which would definitely count more steps than Garmin (I actually wore both for a week or so to compare the steps). Fitbit would easily add dozens of steps by simply washing my hands so you are right not to wear it during your live streaming 😉 Please consider getting one of the Garmin watches. You won't regret 😊 My partner owns Garmin Fenix 5. Another great watch ⌚👌 PS. Love your videos, so informative. Thank you 😊
I LOVE the treat meal! Fantastic. Not counting the last roughly 4 years, I was always a walker. I used to walk an hour or more every day and thoroughly enjoyed each second. Then depression hit and leaving the house was nigh on impossible. I hated to even THINK about walking! However, I feel I am now at a point where I would love to restart. So after binge watching your videos today (found your channel today) I am definitely going for walk tomorrow morning. Thank you for your genuine interest in teaching nutrition that is based on recent science and not old, incorrect and debilitating advice!
Hi Autumn, thank you SO much for this information. I find it hard though to eat 130 grams of protein in 2 meals.. Do you have any tips on this? Thank you!!
5 days of the week I get 32,000 steps from working as a server. My Two days off 4,000 to 22,000. My question is on my days off should I try hit steps I get at work 32,000 as my base than add on my exercise steps from there?
I've hit a plateau with my weight loss and thanks to you, I've realised it could be due to an overload of stevia mixed with fats. I also need to add more kms into my weekly walks.
I'm doing everything . I started 9 months ago. Nothing seems to work for me. During the last four months , I have been doing Keto+ OMAD, and walking 1hour daily... I'm really desperate. Every time I see or read a success story , I just can't stop crying, because I haven't been able to enjoy at least a small victory over my weight. I feel really sad and depressed . I don't have cravings and I don't feel hungry. The only thing that I can't do is sleep well, only 3 or 4 hours per night. During the day I feel sleepy, but I am just unable to sleep. ???????
Nazira…. I am the same. Such a struggle for every pound. Hypothyroid and hashimotos. I do omad and am good 95% of the time. I also take melatonin to help with sleep. I have a hard time falling asleep as well. One thing I changed was taking my supplements earlier, especially my D3. I read and have found also that that was hindering my sleep. I was taking it right before bed. Once I backed it off a few hours, my falling asleep faster did improve. Good luck!!
You mentioned using lemon juice in another video, how many tsp or tblsp does that mean for 1/4 of a lemon. With the weather today and the past 10 days, it has been sudden torrential rains and winds about 20 mph, have been a problem to get out doors for me. I wear an Apple Watch. Sometimes I stand in the middle of night, I guess I sleepwalk (sarcasm and just kidding, I am sure my husband would notice). So I make sure I get up every hour, and subtract the night time stands from that, and use them when I charge the watch for an hour or two. I think the guy meant he walked 6000 steps a day with his Apple Watch. The current generation is 6, but a new one should be coming out in the fall. I have the Apple Watch for other reasons besides a step counter. I did a technical report on step counters, and the error rate on all them are about 5 to 10%. Furthermore, an Apple Watch can sometimes count extra steps when you do arm swing movements sitting in a chair or while laying in bed
Good morning, in may 2019 I was diagnosed pré diabetic. So from may 2019 to now I managed to loose 36 pounds cause I weighed 246 now I weigh 210. Now I need some buster to loose 20 more. I enjoy watching your videos . I’m in Florida, my name is Mimi.
Thanks, really helpful video. I am new to this, only about two weeks in but I’m already feeling results. I couldn’t find the printable chart you referenced listing EVERYTHING that breaks a fast. I’d love to have that on hand, to answer my questions as they pop up. For instance today I wondered about flavored herbal and green tea (I make all of my own tea from teabags.) I like a green tea that’s flavored with peach. I wouldn’t think that that breaks the fast, but… ??
@@AutumnBates Sorry yes my blood sugar. So I’ve been testing my blood sugar and it tends to be just above 100 in the morning. So 105 to 115 usually. So do I need to focus on getting it below 100 or what is the optimal level for weight loss? I’m doing 16/8 IF and breaking my fast at about 11:00, but testing about 8:00. I occasionally do testing throughout the day to see how that goes, but not often. I don’t often subscribe to a channel, but your information was so clear. I really appreciate your channel and information. Thanks,!

It would be nice if next topic would be about the benefits of IF in Type 2 Diabetes. Thank you!

Thanks for these tips ! Appreciate the straight talk on this.
Walking! Especially outside, before bed 😴
Video Idea...Many adults, when losing a lot of weight using low carb intermittent fasting tend to age 5-10 years. How to mitigate.
Thanks as always, Autumn, 💕
Purchased your Level up guide.
Awesome!! Excited for you to get started!

Hey, I thought drinking tea between meals is okay for gut healing?
Hi, did lemon juice break fasting???
❔❔❔⁉️⁉️⁉️I’m wondering if alternating fasting has negative effects on post menopausal women ❓❓
Why don't you like mct oil?
Have to go back to work so I’m not sure if you answered this… do you recommend an at home insulin test???
Hi Susan! You'll want to get insulin done by your doctor. There are a few different routes to test for insulin and your doctor can have them all done!
@@AutumnBates … thank you Autumn! I appreciate you getting back to me…. I truly enjoy your channel 🤗
Sincerely, Susan
How do you feel about pure protein drinks for protein intake? I have at least 1/day…..
Autumn I just want to say I think your lovely ☺️

Is it possible for you to show what a certain amount of protein is on a plate. I get very confused
Yes!! That would be a really great video! I just wrote it down for reference. Thanks Lisa!!

What about teas? I’ve been supplementing snack time and morning before finishing IF with either mint or tumeric tea.

Definitely will implement the stevia point and treat meal--not day

Hi! Here's the section of my blog that I was referencing during the live: www.autumnellenutrition.com/blog/categories/does-it-break-a-fast
Do artificial sweeteners break your fast? I sometimes drink tea with artificial sweetener during my fasting time.
a tiny amount of pure stevia or stevia/monkfruit mix is ok
Great content, thank you. Does water with lime or lemon break fast? Hopefully not because this is what helps me. Please let me know🤗
Hi! I have a blog breaking down the details of this here: www.autumnellenutrition.com/post/does-lemon-juice-break-a-fast-intermittent-fasting
Great job on the new tech!,
Having a treat meal not a treat day was the big one for me. Thanks
Thanks Josie!!🤓❤️
Does my insulin level needs to be below a certain level in order to lose fat? If so, what level? 100 or less?
