@@lewc7389 very sweet of you to ask, the building work on the extension on my house is finishing by Dec so I will be heading down to the shelter in Jan! So excited! I would have adopted one already but I wanted a safe house not a building site for my new little angel!

this game series is one of those games i wish i could wipe every memory of it from my brain and play it over and over.
I envy how calm Bibi/BB is. My cat is 14 yrs old but she STILL struts back and forth on my lap and around my legs for pets and shoves her face in my hand like I'm not in the middle of working and as if she is still a 4 year old with loads of energy. She really lives up to her name; Sugar.
Gabs, have you ever considered the Myst series? It’s just like this, but consists of entire areas with puzzles and story galore! I think the triforce on top was the triforce of power. I believe it was in the ocarina of time.

The triforces are in all the main Zelda games as the final reward for saving the world and granting you the wish to fix everything again.
Can't wait for The Room 3 and Old Sins. Please complete them all. And for more challenge, you can try The House of Da Vinci. The puzzle is much more 'disgusting' than the room.
Im in a seriously deep, almost addicted, love for Gabs playing The Room series. Also Gabs, if u are reading this, give House of Da Vinci a try sometime, its like The Room vibes, I think you might like it

One of my favourite things about Gab is when she asks an object something, such as, “do you want the battery?” Or “is this what you need?” I think it’s super endearing
I have to admit, I was sceptical about you when I first saw your video, but I have to say I love how you give these games the enthusiasm and appreciation they deserve. I love The Room series so much, they have a completely unique aesthetics and atmosphere that I can't get enough of, but a lot of let's players just seem to blast through them, not really laying attention, not reading the notes, etc. But not you, so kudos for that.
Oh man, I thought the first video was way older, so I was all hype to see the full series back to back, guess I'll have to keep a close eye on twitch and maybe I'll get to see it live!

YESSS! I was waiting for her to play this one!! I never finished it as a kid and didn't understand the story, so I'm loving this lmao!
I don't know if it is the settings in her game or if it is the game itself but I wish it was just a touch brighter. That would probably be my one critique for this game. I love the storytelling, the immersion, the variety in puzzles, and the differences in the puzzles from this game to the last. I just wish some of the items were easier to see
I'm sure she does too considering how the darkness interferes with her assessing some of the solutions.

I don't know if Gab will see this but, I would love to see you play The Room 4 Old Sins. Watching you play The Room got me hooked on them and I played them for myself and love it. I love puzzle games like this. I even play the games with my daughter solving the puzzles together.
I believe the chapter at 36:15 is a reference to the Ancient Aztecs because at 36:03, the stone tablet we see in the door is a nod to the Aztec Calendar. [I believe, don't take me up on that.]
Further evidence is proven at 43:27, this letter seems to reference the gods of the Ancient Aztecs. Here is the evidence as to why: 'Feathered Serpent' is another name for the Quetzalcoatl and the 'Jaguar' is referencing either Tezcatlipoca, who's sacred animal was the jaguar and had the ability to shapeshift into one, or Tepēyōllōtl, the Aztec God of jaguars.
More evidence is shown at 57:17, the human skull seems reference either a human blood sacrifice or Mictlantecuhtli, the God of the Dead in Aztec Folklore.
The part with the 3 lens reminded me of the French physicist Blondlot that thought he discovered N-Rays in 1903.

I gotta say Gab...you exhibit strong levels of intuition. I've watch others try to solve these puzzles and I'm screaming at them because they're missing it, but the reasoning just seems to just fall right into your lap.

There is something strangely satisfying about how physically accurate it feels to be interacting with things in a computer game. The UI of the Room series captures this so precisely and accurately that you hardly notice.
So, dear reader, you might wonder; then why not just react with things in real life and stop playing games so much?
BECAUSE THESE THINGS DON'T FRIGGIN EXIST IN REAL LIFE AND NEVER WILL!! Is my tempered response.

The top triangle of the Triforce is the easiest one for me to remember as it's the Triforce of Power (Din). Guess you could think of it as top energy, but I simply remember the Ganondorf cutscene in OOT. The lower two being side-by-side throws my memory at times, but I believe Courage (Farore) is right and Wisdom (Nayru) is left.
The symbols flashing red across the screen is giving me major Dead Space vibes.
