To all aspiring filmmakers of youtube now a days. I just wanna say filmmaking is not moving your image stabilized camera in a wired motion in 120fps and adding transitions to hide the bad endings. what you saw in this video, that is filmmaking , storytelling . ART. Love from india.
Incase nobody caught the film reference "How did you know she was a Nazi" - "She talks in her sleep" is an Indian Jones movie, The Last Crusade. Nice work!
You guys are seriously 2 of the best and most complete channels out there. My opinion. So different and both resinate in me so much at the same time! Great Job! Have a good one Gereld! Tommaso
I'm honestly so amazed, you bring what you know about everything and make it into this, like film. With products, you still review it but add this like a cinematic movie feeling. I absolutely love how that blends, I also love how you bring like this personal level into it, with the voice-overs it adds so much. This channel is honestly amazing!
I am constantly astonished by Josh's ability to be a storyteller, no matter what the subject is. Most studio build videos (while still often fun to watch) are "I have this camera, this light here, that light there, this plant on desk etc". This is a totally different thing. Man, I hope AI can one day clone Josh so we get videos every single day . Thanks man.
Who the hell dislikes a video about a guy still finding a way to move forward during a global crisis across multiple areas of society, health, politics and racial tensions? If anything, this is a great example of what we can do when shit goes sideways. It doesn't mean we have to go tipping over with it. I'm so inspired right now. I'm really thinking about creating my own UA-cam channel to think outside of the box and creating another avenue for what I want to do in life. This is eye opening! Josh you showed someone miles away from you to keep his head up. I really found some answers to some lingering questions and silenced some doubts. Thanks Josh. Hella love from Baltimore, Maryland.
Yo! 2 years ago I never dreamed of having a studio space, it simply was out of reach. The key is building incoming mailbox money, and I cannot stress enough the ability to sell digital assets. Build the infrastructure, build the asset, build the audience. Let's go! Here's step 1. www.squarespace.com/makeartnow
I've had a website for almost two years now. I have no idea how to make or market LUTs or Lightroom presets that people would actually want or pay for. Nor how to even drive traffic to my particular corner of the web, seeing how there are many more photographers out there with their own presets for sale. Why would anybody want my presets?
as a fire fighter I just watched you plug a cord in under your audio foam. foam is very flammable, I would cut a few inches off the foam around the outlet to be safe from any excess heat a malfuctioning electric device can have. amazing build though
I'm more impressed on how smoothly you incorporated your sponsor into the video without derailing or slowing down what you video was about. That was so clever. 👏👏👏👏
Not gonna lie, youre the single most inspiring person on YT or maybe even in general for me. Youre absolutely killing it man, i have so much respect for you!
This is my first time on your channel and I must say I’m beyond impressed man! I’m inspired to change up my content a bit now after watching this video! It was like watching a series on Netflix. Great job.
Genius. Aside from being fun to build, this eliminates all of the barriers to creativity, having it all set up. Thanks for walking us through everything. Love the resourcefulness.
Whoa. This is the most beautiful crafted video I’ve seen in a long time. Next level. Dude, I dunno if you’ll get to see this comment, but if you do know that the hours you poured into this shine through in every cut. Loved it
I'm currently in university discovering cinematography and delving into equipment. This channel is amazing and this video is fantastic at giving so many insights into the current tech coming out and highlighting some of the issues that have hit the freelance cinematographers, and other creatives working in production crews. Seemingly having a one-man studio is a fantastic way for productions
i got that long ass tabletop form ikea thats like 40 bucks. its a lil skinny but its long af so i dont care. 7 feet of desk for like 60 bucks after including the ADILS. IKEA is the best
2:56 I watch a lot of UA-camrs. And this video is the first I've seen with cinematic dialogue scenes. I'm bought! Including the insert shot of the jump rope. Dope
As a photographer and chronic tinkerer, I can resonant with this level of obsession with making things work exactly the way you want them to work with custom built solutions. Great video.
Two seconds after the video started, i checked the view count. I expexted something like 3-4 million views, because it's what this video deserves. Keep going with the great work, I'm pretty sure this channel will become HUGE!!!
More than all the features and the cool stuff, I love the attitude. It's all about resourcefulness, frugality, and the willingness to solve problems. Looking forward to more.
Bro... just to tell you that I love you... Been following you for a year and each time you show up on my feed I get absorbed in your stories. Amazing ! Wish more people can see your work. Congrats.
probably the coolest studio idea ever for youtubers and streamers in general. Sure, there are more complex studios around, but not a single one as creative and interesting as this one man-studio.
I've seen about a minute of this video and maybe 2 minutes of another video on this channel , and wow , this man has some awesomely unique film making ability . The look of his videos are so different than anything I have ever seen . I can't put into words yet what it is about his videos , meaning what it looks like or reminds me of. All I can say is that I havent seen a style like this before and I am very Intrigued . I haven't seen another video ever that gives the look that this mans videos do .
Out of everything, the TV legs just threw me off... that's when I realized Josh is probably one of the most creative influencers with inventiveness I've ever watched. Man you inspire me every time I watch your videos and I wish I could show you how hyped I get after watching a full video of yours
You are definitely one of the best storytellers and visual killers on UA-cam. Love how perfectly exposed is every single shot. Even if it’s only half of a second. Looking forward to next vid!
Other youtubers: Let's put a teal and orange light on my shelf Josh: Let's build Tony Stark headquarter I freaking love every and single details in your storytelling as in your shots. You master it. I try to learn from your work ethic and way of doing things. You are so talented (and working so freaking hard to release something as complex as this video). You rock.
#legend that carpet inside the boxing bag, that is truly an inspiration on the “no waste” idea. How many times did we bought shit we don’t need, this was the perfect example of reuse. It made me feel good.. #thanks
Josh, I just want to tell you.. you are amazing, impressive and a big part of my inspiration! I wish I was half as resourceful as you are! This is so impressive man!
Bruh is this the confirmation you`ll be joining the MCU soon? Love the setup man, it`s insane! Makes me want to upgrade my current editing space and setup 😁
I've been eyeballing studio spaces and starting to sketch out ideas, and this is super inspirational. Maybe a little beyond my level of handiness, but especially given the relative small space, this is amazing.
Really useful as I am hoping to start a radio station and rent a studio! This gave me some inspiration! One thing I found very useful was the Eufy security cameras! I’ve added some to my Amazon wishlist!
I found this fascinating- and how you told the story of how you had the space for 2 and then you turned a story that could of been ashes into a beautiful inspirational story on how to give new meaning to things you throw away. Thank you for the time is took forever you to put this together.
I have nothing but compliments for you sir! I'm super impressed. Your set up is sooo cool, you freakin genius you! Your filming skills, scoring, photography, editing, comedic punchlines, story telling, and carpentry are all on point👌🏾 what's visionary. Great job
Hands down my favorite UA-cam channel. Always inspiring, motivating and it gets the creative juices flowing. Definitely looking forward to the next one. Thanks for the time and effort you put into all of your work.
I'm really surprised you don't have more subs because your videos are AMAZING!!! Seriously, you are on a level all on your own! Thanks for sharing it with all of us!
3:04 Hands down best Sean Connery impression I've ever seen 😂
Who is that guy? He does you tube as well right?
I have no idea.

Blows my mind the way you've created so much functionality within your studio while making it look amazing
You know I'm loving this! 💜🤓
A lot of purple.

EXACTLY RIGHT? it didn't feel like a youtube video! it felt like a well thought out documentary for a series!
I love this. For anyone wondering, yes it is as impressive in real life as it is on UA-cam.🖤🖤

Dammit. Not only is this video and your studio dope, I wasn't planning on buying a new couch today, but that might change after seeing yours.
Wasn't even mad about the ad in- between.
This was really well done! Thank you!
Meanwhile, I'm here with my Ikea desktop with an Alex drawer to prop it up thinking I'm badass...
just like the rest of us =)
I seriously have my IKEA desktop half on a Billy bookcase shelf and half on two metal legs. I’d also be feeling badass... if I wasn’t super cramped.

No one does it better. Specifically, being both filmmaker and talent. Wow.
This is BREATHTAKING
I love what you do and how you communicate it. UA-cam at its best.
THAT IS SICK! Bloody good work and must have involved a lot of Alexa mapping.
I love this because it isn't just a single purpose recording setup, it's also a dope space to be
