once time I succeed in life, I can go wherever I want if I wanted to. or doing anything I want that was my perception while on anxious towards the goal... but once you succeed, there is confirmation bias up there, you realize there is nothing.
you feel been cheating all the way to the top. Because the fulfillment or feeling Exist is when you suffer working towards your goal. If I have to choose I'd rather suffer better than success, When I success I feel confused because I don't know what to do, that time when I realized that chasing success and be happy is not main purpose, I was too young and naive, now I understand and embrace Islam by choice (I born muslim), that primarily goal the objective is to worship God almighty alone. I feel exist, no depression again in any circumstances. I do good deeds, charity sadakah etc.. alhamdulilah. I admitted I was wrong in the past.

The saint Muhammad Ibnu Abdul Jabbar Al Niffari said in one of his inspirations: "Oh servent...your sorrow about me, is like a good tree, having its root firm and its branches in the sky...": ياعبد...همك المحزون علي، كشجرة" "طيبة، أصلها ثابت، وفرعها في السسماء
So, there is a difference between a universal sorrow and an egoistic sorrow

When Jinn race were ruler of earth, they did not have sworn enemies that will lead them to hellfire, yet they caused corruption.
While human, we have tribulation that has been determined as our destiny, and also evil whisper from shaytaan...imagine if human havent got any of them when ruling the earth...

Parents Are not allowing their children to
    Grow up and learn responsibility.
My brothers have lived very selfish lifestyles
Leading to constant arguments In their marriages because they have never been taught how to put others before themselves or have any care for anyone.
The have problems giving their wives rights in the religion.
As soon as they have a tantrum they run back to mommy and daddy and ignore there problems
