Same! I've started using a daily gratefulness app, and honestly one of the first things that came to mind was Grack and her channel. Not sure how I'd survive without this Quality Content and positivity, tbh.
i find it funny you made such a big deal over using granulated sugar when thats the only thing iver ever used to make cookies lol its standard in america
That's what I was thinking! I guess I just assumed caster sugar was just their way of saying granulated sugar in England because I know a lot of baking stuff has different names like icing sugar is powdered sugar there. So is caster sugar just a really really fine sugar?
@@maddierosendahl5927 I just had to look it up because I've also only ever used granulated sugar in the US... caster sugar is called super fine sugar here apparently, but it seems like they're pretty similar
I’m from the US and I’ve never used grams for a recipe but honestly it seems so much smarter and easier cause then you don’t have to dirty up any measuring cups and you can pour everything directly into the mixing bowl. Honestly genius
I get triggered and I’m American. I’ve had so many recipes go wrong and after a long time I just realized it’s because I was measuring things in cups!!
Just a queen livin the dream I’m American too and you can find good and cheap scales at Walmart, it makes baking so easy and less frustrating like you just dump your ingredients until the right number comes up. How great is that?
Yes, I'm from the US and when we (my family) make cookies we always cream the sugar with the butter and then add the eggs and other wet ingredients and then add the dry ingredients. I don't think I've ever added it with the dry ingredients.
I have literally NEVER made cookies WITHOUT granulated sugar?!? Is this a US v. UK difference? Or am I from a different timeline? Ps. If you food process/blend gran-sugar for like 2mins you can get superfine (caster) and 3-4mins for powdered (icing) sugar!
I don’t usually comment but GRACE I love your content so much, like ever since I’ve started watching your videos I basically stopped watching videos and things that made me feel horrible bc you’re so wholesome
this is one of Grace's best videos I'm currently sat laughing in the library as a study break - Grace somehow has the ability to rid me of all anxiety what a wholesome person
in the us (at least in my experience lool) we usually use granulated as our reg sugar for baking n all that?? castor here is called bakers or superfine sugar !!
I love your videos so much, they inspire me to bake/ cook which I’ve never really done before and they’re such a positive thing to look forward to at the end of a hard day🥺
I Love how Grace is the most enthusiastic gal and her mum and Chloe give her very calm and chilled compliments 😂 Papa Booth is just there for a good time.

These videos are honestly saving me right now. I really struggle with my mental health but these videos put a smile on my face and are the best distraction x
Bless you Ms. Emily.💕 May I Please add you to my prayer list?✝️🙏🏻 You are NOT ALONE. So many others in our country suffer from anxiety and depression. We have so many message boards, videos and groups you can join. It's not stigmatized as badly as it used to be. Oh it's still got a long way to go, but there are so many more things to learn and teach yourself about since the internet happened. I love you and pray you have a peaceful day, my sweetheart.🙂 You are amazing and wonderfully made. I know it, because GOD said so. 🙏🏻🥰⭐
My favorite is a meatloaf recipe.👏🏻🎉 It has like 4 ingredients.😁 You add the meat, eggs, some tomato ketchup and a store bought stuffing mix called Stove Top Stuffing. It's an American thing! I made it too and it was surprisingly VERY GOOD. I made with turkey mince meat, too!! Maybe even better with hamburger!🍔
You and your family always crack me up and warm my heart! Your mom and sister always calling things lovely and everything are too cute!!! I can never get enough! Also I'm a new UA-camr and would love the support!
You inspired me and today I made the same pancake recipe for my parents and OMG... they were insanely good!!!!!!! Ate them with maple syrup, some butter and strawberries :) Delicious! Thank you
hey Grace! just wanna say that me and my dog love watching your videos! yes my dog lol she loves watching you and runs into the room when she hears you on my laptop x love you x
Wow I tried this pancake recipe today and they turned out to be the best pancakes I have ever eaten. A tad bit sweet but I like them that way. Thank you for the research girl❤️
I’m so confused with the sugar you guys are using in the UK! As a French person - we only use what you call granulated sugar for baking , and the translation of caster sugar is basically icing sugar for us ahah so I guess we have less types of sugar over here... I never know what sugar to use whenever I am following a British recipe 😭 loved the video as always!
granulated sugar has more defined grains, caster sugar is finer and has the texture of table salt and icing sugar is very powdery - from a uk person! hope that helps😄
You've inspired me to start filming and to just do it. Not sure what's been holding me back but I'm really excited to get started. I love your video style as well as clickfortaz. Have a great day Grace! Love from Cape Town, South Africa
Thank you for these wonderful videos whilst we work!💝 I love Pinterest too. I'm moving soon ( hooefully) so I've been checking out decorations and real estate channels just like you! Hee hee🏠👏🏻🎉 Loved these recipes videos from the internet best of all. We love you Ms. Grace. Thank you from ER Room nightshift! We all yelled out "I love breakfast". And for us- it is Breakfast!!😁 We are just starting work in 30 minutes! Bless you, Sweetie. 🙏🏻🥰👏🏻

Fact :D

In England, we have granulated super which is really grainy and then caster sugar which is quite small and fine and then icing sugar which is powder 😊
@@Sophie-ci5mn ahaaaa.... yes thank you that explains a lot!
We call it icing sugar in England :)
“I’m a gram girl” 😂 me when I see an American recipe and get triggered
My weighing scales broke and I had to make a lot of stuff
So I had to use cups and Oh! It was frustrating!!
I’m from the US and I’ve never used grams for a recipe but honestly it seems so much smarter and easier cause then you don’t have to dirty up any measuring cups and you can pour everything directly into the mixing bowl. Honestly genius

Uh oh stinky poopy Yes! I’m from the Uk and I have cups and a gram scale that broke. It’s so annoying! Especially butter and oil. So hard to clean!
"where do you want the cream?"
"In my mouth"
Your dad is hilarious
A R murrr, that’s what she said😏
The good part is that her mom didn’t say that
I feel like grace looks for her dads approval more than anyone else’s in the family. She’s a daddy’s girl x
When you use granulated sugar - you add it with the "wet" ingredients so that it dissolves and you don't get the gritty texture.
I've always added it to the dry with no problems, US version says sugar goes with dry ingredients
@@Swishy2003 I'm in the US and have always added sugar to the wet ingredients.
Yes, I'm from the US and when we (my family) make cookies we always cream the sugar with the butter and then add the eggs and other wet ingredients and then add the dry ingredients. I don't think I've ever added it with the dry ingredients.
Tormented Angel The sugar is considered a wet ingredient because the sugar melts as it cooks.
I’ve always put it in the dry ingredients and they’ve never had a gritty texture, now I’m starting to question everything I know about baking 😂
I have literally NEVER made cookies WITHOUT granulated sugar?!? Is this a US v. UK difference? Or am I from a different timeline? Ps. If you food process/blend gran-sugar for like 2mins you can get superfine (caster) and 3-4mins for powdered (icing) sugar!
ame!! i bake ALL THE TIME and i don’t know if i’ve ever seen a regular cookie recipe without granulated sugar??
Same! I wonder if it is US v. UK?
yeah I’m pretty sure what we in America call granulated sugar is what they call caster sugar cause for us granulated sugar is just normal sugar.
i'm from the uk and i use granluated sugar for cookies, its probably her preference
Okay what even is caster sugar? In Germany we only use "regular" sugar and powdered and ssomethimes one that´s called hail sugar for toppings
"Caster sugar is sold out in like every supermarket now." lol, the people are *baking*
IVE BEEN BAKING FOR SO LONG
@@SamElle lmao, same 😅
I did get it eventually but it's 3kg which is massive for me.
I thought caster sugar and granulated sugar were the same thing?
I have like 3 kilos of caster sugar because my family all bought some for me but we can't find baking powder anywhere!!!!!!!!!
I have never made chocolate chips cookies WITHOUT granulated sugar tbh
Stacks of pancakes always remind me of the film of 'Matilda'
I don’t usually comment but GRACE I love your content so much, like ever since I’ve started watching your videos I basically stopped watching videos and things that made me feel horrible bc you’re so wholesome
Same, I think it's because grace is so entertaining and just is 100% her own person, its totally refreshing to watch x
The MSG comment was so funny and so relatable, MSG incorporated in food is a whole vibe😂

“She’s a bit of a mixer upper” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
in the us (at least in my experience lool) we usually use granulated as our reg sugar for baking n all that?? castor here is called bakers or superfine sugar !!
That's good to know for when I'm trying American recipes 😁
a lot of people In the uk do that aswell.
not eating your cookies the same second you got them out of oven especially when they look like that is scary and powerful... I can’t relate
