Goodness, you put such a lot of effort into that buffet! My choice would be what your dad had. I like my bacon crisp, too. But this morning I just had a simple breakfast with Richmond sausages, fried Jersey potatoes and a fried egg. With a ciabatta roll from Lidl spread with Clover. There was a bit of roll left over so I spread a squeeze of prawn Primula on it. I usually eat 90% pork content sausages or chipolatas, but Richmonds are a decadent treat I allow myself every once in a while to remind me what transport caffs were like in the 1960s.
It seems like people today are totally obsessed with being perceived as cool and perfect and Grace doesn’t care a bit and is just unashamedly herself at all times. 10/10

When Grace had her hair pulled back with the all black outfit, she legit looked gorgeous. She seriously looks like model without trying. She could’ve been one of those clique-ish, influencer people with designer clothes and mean vibes but instead she’s making her family a buffet breakfast and wondering why hash browns aren’t a rhombus shape ... we don’t deserve her.

Reminds me of when I was ten, I made a Valentine’s dinner date night for my parents. I gave them a menu that had two options: mac and cheese or spaghetti. They ordered the spaghetti and I took about an hour and a half to make it 😂

As someone with coeliac breakfast buffets aren’t as fun for us I remember once on holiday my only option was fruit sad times however I agree buffets are fun croissants 🥐 are the best . Ps thank for the uploads grace love your videos :). Xx
“Eggs” on many buffets that come liquid in a bag or carton and served scrambled have wheat products as stabilizers! Real eggs eventually turn a bit green when held at temperature over a heat source for that type of service, so they add crap to prohibit that.

@@amyparkin9701 at least bread and cereal is mostly vegan, also being vegan is not worse than having an allergy or intolerance at least if there's some cross contamination we won't get sick. Being vegan is much easier.
Jessica yea I get that I’m lucky I’m not intolerant but I can’t eat the majority of food especially that hot food and there isn’t usually anything I can eat the cereal with
@@amyparkin9701 hashbrowns (usually have gluten) and baked beans(sometimes with gluten) are vegan too.
I've never been to a buffet because I find them gross but eating out as a vegan has been so easy for me, but I have family members with coeliac who refuse to eat out just because cross contamination can cause them to be violently ill for days.

Been a year since Grack posted this and lovely to see she's still being wholesome and lovely for her family, so much has changed yet so much is still the same, with the pandemic and some of her family members moving out, but Grace is still wonderful Grace! :)

@@joannasaunders2179 I know you're joking, but for the sake of argument, even if it weren't her family, if it were a 5 star hotel, they would have gotten to know their guests, if not by name then by likes and dislikes, over the course of their stay or even over the course of many stays, especially if it was a business-traveler hotel. Obviously if it was the first time they'd seen that guest, they might not know, and probably wouldn't make so many assumptions, but.... let's pretend this is not the first time these "guests" have stayed at the "hotel". Hence why she knows so much about them. ;-)

I worked in several hotel restaurants and don't worry, got people asking for much worse than hot water!! I would probably just assume that you brought your own tea with you, or whatever..

If I left bread out overnight, I guarantee that the next morning each loaf would have a lil' cat-sized nibble taken out of it! One of my cats (Minnie) is a bonafied carb fiend. She bites through the plastic bag to get to the bread, she's an absolute nutter. The first year I had her, I brought her to my parents' house for Thanksgiving (American over here), and we woke up on Thanksgiving morning to find a perfectly petite cat noseprint right in the middle of the pumpkin pie. Does Banksy not care for bread? If not, LUCKY YOU!

I thank whoever got the virus first, probably because of rank hygiene, for not only leaving me out of a job, but completely obliterating my line of work. I have been a breakfast chef since late 2017 and on behalf of the staff, the health and safety standards are upheld. Hotel guests on the other hand, are horrific. Some people have no manners.
Pretty sure they'll still have breakfast offerings, but..... if it isn't self-serve anymore, it will be more along the lines of All you can eat "family style" or "cafeteria style" where you are served instead of getting it yourself. Buffet restaurants better get ready to get asked for very specific requests on their serving line.... "3 waffles please, no not those..... those ones on the end...." "a little more oatmeal please.... oh a little more... .like, half a spoonful..... no, yep, no.... that's perfect...." "I want JUST the cantaloupe from this fruit salad please, not the grapes or honeydew... Oh no not that piece, that one's shrivelly.... THAT one, that nice juicy orange piece there....".......

I can't help it! In my opinion, if you're picky about what you get from a buffet, it better helps the restaurant to realize what's going to waste vs what people like. Unless there are people out there that actually LIKE half-burnt waffles, a small spoonful of oatmeal, and under-ripe cantaloupe?
